I wish to become the next Admiral for three main reasons. Reason one, I wish to take my goals and plans to the next level. As a Rear Admiral, I do have a lot of pull within the Naval Branch but as an Admiral, I can work with the board of Admiralty to further these changes and create a bigger and better future for Naval, for context some of these plans consist of reworks to our specialties (sub-branches), our Low Command and Supervisory teams, and finally the main premise of Naval and our RP. Reason Two, I feel that as an Admiral I will be able to contribute to the rest of the server as a whole. You see Admiral Antonio Motti's main purpose in Naval is to oversee all Naval operations, and I believe Naval relations with other battalions need improvement. Naval should be seen as a binding force on the ISD, like a glue, instead, Naval is often seen as the branch that sits on the bridge and does nothing, as Admiral Antonio Motti I can change this, respect is never given but earned and I can show that Naval is at least worthy of a little respect on the ISD. The third and final reason I wish to be a command is to further myself in Naval. When I took the position as Rear Admiral one of the main things I addressed in the application was that I needed to learn what I meant to be a command member and with confidence, I can say I have learned and I wish to move forward to the next step of Admiral. I assumed it would take me much much longer but after a month with the position, I can confidently say I understand what it means to be a Command member. From the good times to the bad I've seemed to experience it all. I remember the first person I had to strike and remove and it was difficult, but after being in the position I can safely say I'm confident and knowledgeable in my decision and skills. From the roster updates, the managing LOAs, to recreating documents I've learned what it means to be a command member and wish to take these skills onto Admiral Antonio Motti and carry them onto my prospects within Naval. All in all, I believe the Admiral Antonio Motti position will suit me well. I've learned what it means to be a Command Member and have future goals and changes within Naval and server I truly believe I can carry out as Admiral Antonio Motti. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? At the time of Creation 14 Days 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? Admirals within Navy have a very delicate but powerful role. Admirals are expected to oversee the operations of the ISD, oversee the operations of Navy, and all of the Naval battalions (If that is their assigned duty) to assure the ISD, Navy, and the Naval battalions are all running at maximum efficiency, and effort. Naval Admirals are to act as a bridge between the Naval High Command and the rest of Navy, Admirals are expected to lead and maintain Navy, leading by example, while also making sure the Low Command, Supervisory, and even down to the Enlisted are all performing and are ABLE to perform at the capacity they should be. Naval Admirals are expected to be created, maintain, and adjust the documents related to Navy, for example, Agent Kallus (Astro) was the man responsible for creating the current Naval tryouts website that is a tool for all Naval to use and guides them in the direction they are supposed to be in. Finally, Admirals are meant to be leaders, if Admirals are to stand for one thing on the ship it is a person who can embody leadership and guidance within others, everyone will constantly have questions and instead of referring to the SOP as most Low Command or Officers do, Admirals are expected to BE the answer you are looking for, guide you when you are lost, advise you when you're in need, show you what it means to be a true leader. If we are to be more specific and focus on Admiral Antonio Motti, he is the most senior of all the Admirals BUT he does not hold any sort of seniority over the others, he is the Admiral who will oversee and manage all Naval operations onboard the ISD, creating a and setting a clear path for Naval and sets of rules and regulations for them to follow, as an example. He is to align himself with the other Admirals to create a smooth and balanced workflow and infrastructure within Naval that everyone can follow. As a short but sweet description, Admiral Frimus Piett oversees all Star-Fighter operations, Admiral Antonio Motti does the same for the base Naval branch. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander?: There are a few reasons I believe I should be trusted with this position. Number one is I am a member of the staff team. I listed this one as my staff rank should have zero correlation with my RP rank, I only list it here as it assists me in proving that I understand the server rules and how to enforce them, minging for me would result in immediate removal of my staff rank and or further punishment. The second reason is, that I am a member of the Low Command team a Rear Admiral equal to a Vice Commander, I truly believe that I would not have reached this rank if I was not mature enough to take on the role of Admiral. But of course, being trusted with a position is more than just promising not to minge or be immature. The main reason I bring up my position as a Low Command member is that I should be trusted with this position for the work I have done in my position, I have done task small menial tasks from roster updates to managing activity and the LOAs of my battalion to larger task such as complete reworks of SOPs and documents, other examples of managing large numbers of enlisted and officers, having to hand out punishments and strikes. Of Course, all of these tasks are things a Low Command member SHOULD be doing. I bring it up because when I do them I give 110% that I can, I've been in team speaking calls on the way home from work, adjusting documents, and updating the roster while on break. I give my all to this position nothing gets in between me and nothing will now. The third and final reason I should be trusted with this position is far more than just words. I truly believe actions speak louder than words, no this isn't an excuse to write less. I believe my actions as a Rear Admiral, an Officer, Commander, Leader, and more have shown I am ready and able to be trusted with this position, I can sit here all day and say I work hard, and that I deserve this position, but I believe my actions as a Rear Admiral will simply show it. 7. I want to become an admiral for all the leadership and responsibility that comes with it, I believe I have the required skills and experience in order to hold such a positon. I have previous experience in leading people and being in charge from my time as security director and in my time have always made sure to not neglect my duties for shock, DT, or naval. I hold those I work with and supervise to a high standard but I always make sure to hold myself higher as to lead by example. I always aim to be active and on the server every day and I believe that I do that extremely well. My time within navy has been the best time within the server, I have been in multiple battalions previously and naval has always stuck out to me as the place I belong, I want this position to further myself within the branch because I am here to stay. I want to improve naval at every level from enlisted all the way up to low command and Admiral Antonio Motti is the head of all internal affairs within naval so this position would be perfect for that. I always try to take upon myself as much responsibility as I can only because I feel I am capable for the role and this position is no different. 4. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? An admiral is expected to lead by example and hold themselves and those they oversee to a high standard and make sure that they understand how their actions appear to others around them. Admirals answer directly to naval high command and work closely with the rest of the board of admiralty to ensure the battalion is running smoothly. Admirals hold a lot of influence within naval and need to make sure they use that influence to better the entirety of naval as well as the rest of the server. They are mainly tasked with overseeing low command and making sure those within it are doing their job properly and properly monitoring the enlisted and supervisors while also doing it themselves. They are expected to make sure that the entire battalion is running smoothly and while all admirals do this, this is what Motti primarily focuses on as the other admirals have outside responsibilities for other battalions/subbranches on top of their respective naval duties but this does not mean Motti holds any extra power over other admirals when it comes to navy matters. Admirals are to be understanding and fair but also strict and able to punish those who fail expectations should it be deemed necessary. They are expected to look over everyone closely and point out those who go above and beyond expectations and make sure that they are acknowledged. Admirals are free to host weekly meetings and train new recruits for specialties without permission and are expected to do so on top of their other duties. Admirals are expected to be extremely active on the forums, especially in the naval section to grant and deny applications. An Admiral is expected to work extremely closely with other admirals as well as low command to make sure everyone is doing their job properly, deserving of their rank and that promotions that are being handed out are deserved. Admirals are expected to make suggestions to the board of admiralty and push for positive changes to the battalion to improve everyone's experience and make people want to join and stay in the battalion. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : I have many reasons to be trusted with this position. I have never been striked in Naval nor do I have any warns on any gaming light server. I have never been marked as anything other than active on the navy roster and have never had to take a LOA or ROA. During my time as a supervisor I not only made sure to meet quota but to exceed past it to try to get as many people into the battalion as possible. I always make sure that those I see break the rules no matter their rank are corrected. I do not tolerate disrespect towards others, those I see do it are called out if their superiors are not present. I am extremely active on the server and log on every day and in my time on the server I have built a large amount of trust within the community both from my actions in RP as well as a staff member. I am not afraid to ask questions, apologize or admit to my mistakes when I make them. I have been a specialty lead since I was a supervisor and have stuck with security through its ups and downs and I genuinely feel that I have improved security from my time within it and would like to further that improvement to the naval battalion. During my time in naval I have worked hard to try and make myself approachable and trusted and have succeeded in this aspect as even when I was a supervisor I have had supervisors and enlisted alike come to with their concerns and have always put the utmost effort in making them feel welcome and heard. I always make sure that I listen to my superiors and those who are more experienced than myself as to never miss out on a learning opportunity to improve. I have thought about it for awhile, and I have come to think that I would be applying for Admiral Garrick Versio 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? I have decided to divide this up into multiple questions. Activity: I am on almost every day, almost never AFKing ingame in which I have made many friends and I usually stay ingame for 4-6 hours with breaks inbetween of couse. But onto the branches activity, I would love to improve some of the naval activity with some things. Firstly, I have been trying to inplement new types of quotas for supervisors, in which they engage more with the naval enlisted, I have tried coming up with ideas for the board of admirality but they have not been accepted so far, in which I would love just to try to inplement it for just a week as a trial to see if it improves activity between enlisted-supervisors. Leadership skill: I would love to try to improve the way the supervisors/low command are hosting sims with naval in which they use their leadership skills more and lead more in events, I have been for the last two weeks letting both enlisted and supervisors lead pits during events(I use radio still) and during sims. This is something that I do have proof of that it works, I have ever since been asked almost every day by lower ranked to host these kind of simulations. Notes: I would also just love to be apart of something more, be able to do more stuff and actually get my ideas heard by others in which recent has not been the case, 4. How much game time do you have on the server? I currently have over 1000 hours on the server, which equals to above 6 weeks ingame play time. I have been on the server for 6+ months, and if you count my old steam account that got deleted , 1+ year. 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? Again, I'd love to divide this into different questions as I feel like a question like this is not enough to explain it all. Responsibility: I see the Responsibilities as Admiral Garrick Versio as great. He holds power within multiple branches of Navy, being an Admiral within Naval, and being the overseer of IF plus being the father of Iden Versio. Being an Admiral, Garrick holds a lot of power within the Navy and co-leads it with the whole of the board of Admirality. He is to be skilled and looked opon, not make a bad example for the Enlisted/Supervisors. Role within IF: Admiral Garrick Versio's role within IF is to both Oversee it and to actively engage with IF and it's command members. As I am right now, Chief of a speciality(MO) in which I have proven that I can comunicate with another command team, and actively help with improving their branch. Garrick Versio is to assist in planning missions, host simulations and tryouts for IF, and oversee everything that is done by this battalion. Supervision: Admiral Garrick Versio is one of the highest ranking naval personnel, in which he has to also oversee naval and lead it. He is to be an example, help improving the branch and making it a better place for anyone, striking anyone that does not follow the rules, and removing unworthy members of both IF/Naval. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : Again, I'll divide this into multiple questions for the best answers. Reputation within the server: I actually myself didnt at first want to apply for this position, but I kept getting asked by many people to apply and I kept being encouraged to apply. I do believe I almost only have a positive Reputation within this server as seeing I always stay neutral in drama, I never engage in anything mingy and being apart of the GM team makes me bond with more people by hosting events. I really have enjoyed my time on this server and I do see me staying here for a couple of years, be it I get kicked or demoted, I'd always strive to get back to the server as I really love the community and I have a feeling that they love me back (no homo, only homie way) Activity: I know I have already said something about my activity but I believe that this is a very important question and should be written a bit more about here. So my activity within the server has been really good, seeing I've gotten over 1000 hours on the server, I play almost every day, mondays usually off due to boxing lessens, and as being an European (Danish) I can't be on in week days busy american hours. I do value College more than the server, but I really do enjoy and would love to play more on the server after exams. 7. I wish to become Admiral Motti because: I have past experience as an Admiral and I want to try even harder to improve the naval by supervising it and making sure everyone is doing their job even better than they used to, trying to make everyone feel comfortable inside the Regiment by introducing them to the Naval and showing my activity and the dedication towards the battalion/server. I've been a part of the server for about 2 years and have more than 6 weeks on the server. And I have never got any disciplinary action taken towards me inside of the Naval apart from going on LOA too much (I went on reserves shortly after cz I didn't have time). I always set a goal for myself and I try my hardest to achieve it, I like talking with people and I am good at listening to others' if you come to me with a suggestion I will always consider it and discuss it with everyone else. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? I have played bit over 6 weeks on the server (over 1000 Hours) 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? The main perpous of an Admiral is to suppervise and protect all and any Naval at all times. Motti is the Chief Of Naval Operations and oversee all operations throughout the navy branch to reinforce its infrastructure. I shall maintain great activity as well as connecting with fellow NHC NLC naval officer or Enlisted. Making daily announcements, assigning Low Command there assigments every week making sure they are doing there job. Promotions: Determain who should be promoted as well as make sure everyone is at the rank they are suited to be at and they are doing a good enough job as well as see if they are ready for a promotion. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : I've been a part of the server for a very long time, before I went on reserves/resigned I've been a part of the server for nearly 2 years I don't know if any of you remember but I was a part of the Naval Low-command bird gang (don't know if any of you understand what that is if you want to know you can DM me on discord lmao). I've been close to HC a lot of times and I've got to know a lot of different people in the short time of me being back on the server, the only things that changed since I came back, are the people playing on the server and a lot of people that I still remember from a long time ago. I have never messed anything up as long as I remember I've never got any disciplinary action or strikes taken towards me in a battalion. I've been an SNR Moderator and GameMaster Tick VII before as well as an Admiral/Agent Kallus for a decent amount of time, even dooring the time of me being gone I have always kept an eye on any and all topics mentioned on the command/GL main discord server. I was trusted enough to be given 1 rank off reserves example: I was an Admiral and was given Vice Admiral reserves instead of Rear Admiral or even! Commodore. 7. Activity I am am on atleast 12 hours a day and I get very invested in my roles and always hold myself and others to the highest standards. some other ways i could improve the branch is once im able i can educate fellow naval who have not chosen a specialty yet and maybe sway them into choosing gunnery. there is only so much i can do to be honest but the main thing is being active and spreading the word about gunnery and being serious.
