1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : ARCL LTCOL Stec 01 2. What Regiment are you applying for? I am applying for 501st VCMDR. 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? I want to become a VCMDR for the 501st for some very high key reasons, one of the reasons I want to become a 501st VCMDR is to help improve the activity as a 501st, as an officer I have helped improve it but even then I am very limited on what I can do. If I can become VCMDR I can have a little bit more access as to what I can do such as protocols to call for the troops of the 501st!! As well if I can become a VCMDR of the 501st I would like to help communicate with the officer team on changes that can be made to improve the troopers gameplay and discuss it with 501st CMD/SNRCMD/HC as to help provide a better feedback and get better experience for everyone. I would also be there as a scout for potential officers for the 501st officer core and mentor them in the right direction so in case they seek 501st CMD I can get them prepared and ready for it! Ultimately I wish to become a VCMDR to help out the 501st grow as a battalion as a whole! Helping out grow ARC, PHZ as well as heavy, I could help assist these sub branches in any way possible. I also mainly want to become a VCMDR for the 501st as it is something I’ve been considering on seeking ever since reaching 2LT within the battalion, I care for each and every one of the troopers within the battalion and I would do absolutely anything for them to improve their experience on the server! What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? When it comes to a VCMDR/CMDR of a branch there is no “main purpose” as a command member you have multiple purposes for your branches. As a command member within a branch you are to set the example for your troopers on how they should behave while on a day to day basis, you should act professional whenever handling stressful situations on the server, being able to make decisions on the fly to help improve the battalions relations with other battalions as well as the structure and condition of the battalion to be well over what is expected. Another big purpose that a VCMDR has is to make sure that the officers are staying on top of their game, not just their quota but activity, flag ups and communication within the battalion, the VCMDR should be encouraging officers to talk to enlisted/NCO’s to get a hold of stuff that could potentially cause an issue. VCMDR’s as a whole are the 2nd in command in case the CMDR is not available so they are trusted to make big decisions that could affect the battalion, they are to also be a mentor to any officer that may need the extra help on their day to day duties! VCMDR’s should also work with leads to improve docs, loadouts or anything that feels needs to be changed. These are a few major purposes a VCMDR has within the branches. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander?: I feel I should be trusted with VCMDR as I have shown that as an officer, I fully know my responsibilities as an officer. I do my best to keep the battalion running day in and day out, from recruiting new troops into the battalion to improving the member count within the battalions I do everything possible to improve the 501st with no fail, as a LTCOL I have improved the members within Phase, JT and ARC alone. I have also helped grow the NCO team from 3 members up to around 8-9 members as of right now. I do my best to keep the battalion growing and will continue to do so regardless of my position. I also make sure to keep my troopers/officers up to date about anything and everything going on with the battalion unless needed to be kept until the time is right, as well as I make sure to keep my troopers behaved punishing them if the were to act up (given I am provided evidence about their behavior) and to hand out excess actions if need be! I have also had multiple experiences within a position of power, I have been an officer within shock and IC many times with shock reaching all the way up to LTCOL/COL, as well as I have been in IC CMD as VCMDR Sev and IC CMDR Boss and did very well in those positions! With these things I feel I should be trusted with the position of 501st vice commander. 7. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : Theta 2. What Regiment are you applying for? 501st Legion Vice Commander 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? I want to be able to lend a hand in leading our battalion further. I am very dedicated to the 501st, with the vast majority of my time on the server being spent on my 501st life. I am currently not an active member of any other battalions, and when I was they always came second behind my 501st life. I want to be able to help the 501st reach it's highest potential. I want to be a force for positive change within the battalion. I see the 501st all as my friends, some even as family. I care deeply about the well being of the men and women below me currently as well as the well being of the battalion as a whole, and because of that I want to help foster in a good age of activity and glory. 4. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? I would say the main jobs of the Commander/Vice Commanders is to manage the regiment, to make any necessary changes to the regiment that would improve it from an RP standpoint as well as an enjoyability standpoint from the perspective of the lower ranking individuals. It is also to set an example, not just for enlisted and NCOs, but for the officers below them to be able to look to as an example of how they should conduct themselves. Commanders should also be striving to encourage as much activity as possible from their unit by keeping their troopers busy with SIMs, missions, etc. Another responsibility is keeping the men below them in line and making sure they behave, as poor behavior from your battalion would reflect poorly on you as a Commander. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : I am currently the next most senior 501st after Nebel (CMDR) and Stevie (VCDMR) at JTL Major. I have been around a while and seen enough Commanders & Vice Commanders go by to understand their role within our battalion. Being a higher ranking officer has also allowed me to view and observe many different people, whether that be peers of same or similar rank or subordinates. By being able to observe the actions and consequences of said actions from those individuals, I have developed a clear view of what is right and wrong when conducting myself. I believe I am able to act in a serious and professional manner while being able to remain the easygoing, friendly, fun loving guy my comrades know me to be already. As JTL, I was able to work with our previous Commander to foster in a series of changes to the JT sub battalion, which was suffering. I was able to breathe life into it again through those changes and plan on continuing to do so. I feel like with all of these things considered, I am the most qualified individual for the position at this time. 7. How often can you be Online? : I am already online quite a bit. I would say currently I am on 5 days a week for intervals of about 4 hours at a time. My job keeps me from being on much more than that, but I would still try my best to up that time if needed should I get the position of VCMDR. 8. Do you have any Warnings? Edgy's 501st Vice Commander Application 1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : 501st HVYL ARC COL Edgy 2413 2. What Regiment are you applying for? I am applying for the 501st Vice Commander position. 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? I have been in the 501st regiment for almost 4 months now, and there is not a single day where I do not enjoy being in the regiment, and now that the opportunity to become a Vice-commander has returned, I am again taking this chance to take a shot for the role. It has been my goal since I joined the regiment to become the Vice-Commander, and I am truly happy to devote time to this battalion and those in it. The reason I want to be the 501st Vice-commander is because I want to be someone that those in the 501st look up to and follow for advice. I am also very happy with helping fellow troopers in and outside of the 501st, and I very much look forward to being able to do it as a Vice-commander, as it allows me more freedom in how I capable I am in helping troopers. I deeply care for this regiment and all who are in it, and being a Vice-commander for the 501st is, in my eyes, a step that I can take that shows that I am going to continue to dedicate myself to the betterment of this battalion. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? I have a total of 783 hours total on the server, equivalent to 33 days in-game (via BattleMetrics, as of the making of this application). 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? The commanders and vice-commanders of a regiment are given many responsibilities and duties that they are expected to fulfill given their position. One of the largest responsibilities of being a good commander/vice commander is to be the one that your troopers look up to for guidance on how they should be, such as how to act as well as who they want to be. You are to be an example that the troopers you lead, as well as troopers of other regiments look to for guidance and leadership while also fulfilling their duties as part of command. That being said, another responsibility of being a commander/vice commander is being on top of being in touch with some of the command team, as well as those who are in your regiment in order to keep your regiment well managed and (ooc) fun for people to be a part of and join and play on. Finally, on the more technical side of a vice commanders responsibilities, you also need to make sure you are keeping the roster and documents fresh and up to date, while also listening to recommendations that troopers may give you, and relaying the information to the commander(s). 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : A Vice-commander is a very important role within a regiment, as it is part of their job to take care of any internal issues that may arise, whether it be a dispute between troopers, or something is wrong with the roster that may need to be fixed. As the current Heavy-lead for the 501st, I have experience in dealing with issues on a technical standpoint when it comes to roster management and document accuracy, as well as being the Colonel for the 501st, there are many occasions where I have dealt with affairs occurring between troopers and issues they had. I have also been approached by other people about issues they may have with someone within the ranks of the 501st (whether they approach me in-game or message me through the Discord or TeamSpeak), and have provided solutions that left both parties involved content with each other and being fair yet just for any punishment that may need to be issued to someone who has done something wrong. Overall, I would have to say that I am a reliable and approachable person who will make sure that any issues brought to my attention are at the least payed mind to higher ranking command, if not, settled by me, and this is why I believe I should be trusted for this Vice-commander position. 7. How often can you be Online? : I am always online everyday, for around 3 or 4 hours, if not more. 8. Do you have any Warnings? (What for?) : I have 1 warning in SCP-RP, for NLR l RDM. Becoming one of the Vice Commanders of the 501st has always been my very top goal ever since I was recruited. As a member of low command in the 501st, I am very eager to have a chance at upholding the position and dealing with any issues that may arise in and out of the regiment, and would be honored to earn this position. I also think that I have grown a little bond and/or friendship at the least with the rest of the regiment, and believe that I am a respected and liked individual within the roster, and I feel that I would be comfortable and effective in the 501st Vice Commander position. Most of all, I am so stoked to log in every day and join my friends that I have made in the regiment, and as a Vice Commander, I truly think that my capacity to help any of them out would be greatly expanded if they needed anything from me in this position. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? I have a total of 4+ weeks on the server in total, and my join date for the 501st is December 6th, 2020. 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? As a Commander or Vice Commander of any regiment, given to you is the responsibility to be one of the faces of the regiment, as well as be held accountable for any issues that may arise inside or out of the regiment, in this case is the 501st. It is also the responsibility of these individuals to allow and assist your fellow members of the regiment to thrive as much as possible and allow them to preform and act their best, while also making it enjoyable. If a Commander or Vice Commander is successful in doing so, they are capable of leading a strong group of closely working individuals who thrive in the face of any issues that come in their direction. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : I believe that given the opportunity of being a 501st Vice Commander, I would be a respected and capable leader for the 501st, and would happily deal with or assist in dealing with any and all issues that may arise in the near or far future for the regiment, along with finding the best outcome for said issues. When it comes to leading the regiment alongside the Commander, I think that my opinions and thoughts for the regiment would be very valuable, and that I overall would be a valuable member of the 501st's higher command. I also believe that I would be a very friendly and easy-to-approach command member for anyone that may have any questions or thoughts about subjects related to the regiment and how it operates. I really care about this regiment and all of the people in it, and I want to be a part of making this regiment the best that it can. I would be more than honored to be given the opportunity of being a 501st Vice Commander. 7. How often can you be Online? : I have been, and plan on being active within the 501st everyday, if not then 6 days a week, and I have not had any LOA since I joined the server. 8. 1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : 501st ARCL HVY MAJ Katie 6492 2. What Regiment are you applying for? 501st Legion Vice Commander 3. Why do you want to be a vice commander of this branch? With 501st getting a new Commander, a new Vice Commander slot is open. I want to become a Vice Commander of 501st because with me having online school I can be extremely active for those who may have questions about something or another battalion has an issue with 501st that needs to be addressed. Having two Vice commanders is always a good thing to have for starters when one Vice Commander isn’t available it’s good to have a back-up especially when handling a problem where there might be two different stories. As an Officer but also myself I don’t tolerate excessive minge or overall stupidity from anyone whether it’s a 501st trooper or someone from another battalion. I have a good understanding of how the Command team works, but that doesn’t mean I know everything, it leaves space to learn more. Vice Commander should lead, guide, and overall be a good role model for the Officers and the Battalion to look up to. As the ARCL I feel that I have what It takes to lead or guide the battalion in the right direction. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? 3 weeks/570+ hours. 5. What is the Main Purpose of a vice commander for a branch? The main purpose of a Vice Commander is to connect the dots between other battalions and the battalion itself, making sure that no one has problems with each other or other battalions that could ruin the communication between Officers, NCO’s or even enlisted, that also includes not ruining the communication between other battalions. Vice Commander’s should stay on top of updating roster, keeping up to date with Sub-battalions to see if they need some changes done, looking for new candidates for the somewhat new medal system that has been brought into the 501st, training new Officers, and communicating with the Commander of issues that have been brought up or bold choices that need to be made. 6. Why should we trust you to be a vice commander? : One main reason is with how much I play on the server and 501st in general that also means I deal with some minor or major problems brought up within 501st from a singular trooper, a group of people, or another battalion, which shows I can handle a situation appropriately. From my understanding I seem to be liked by 501st which leaves no drama between 501st and myself, making it easier to communicate with the battalion and Officers to have someone to come to about a problem or suggestion. 7. How often can you be Online? : Every day, and all day on weekends. 8. Do you have any Warnings? (What for?) : I have no warning’s across all of Gaming light.
