@Squash Hello sir, if you read the whole summary you will see how i said it will benefit not only maintenance but other branches.. if this somehow does get accepted it will help MTF because Maintenance may become more active if they dont have to flag off everytime because they cant defend themselves properly.. by having them on they can help MTF with Cells that require Fixing, Fixing Lights, Etc..

While i've never read the "Lore" of R&D i can say that ive seen enough ingame to understand basically what they do/are. Also, i have been R&D on this server before a long time ago, almost 3 years ago back in 2018. Why should you be in Chaos Insurgency? (75 word minimum) I want to be an R&D because I can bring activity, being a foundation researcher.. It's really inactive and people don't do much besides do just mass PT and mingey Researchers, but as R&D i believe i can actually have a bit more fun and be active and do experiments correctly. Not only do I have experience but I'm also a Senior in the foundation, I, of course, have Lots of Knowledge about SCP's and not some Newbie. Chaos Insurgency seems like i can get more delved into the RP Aspect and learn new things, I wanna learn a bit more about being R&D than i had before. What is something that sets you apart from other applicants? Experience and Playtime, i know a lot about SCPS and even on how to be a R&D, i can make it to meetings and be a good R&D Researcher, i know how to Take RP seriously when need be, and can even help other lower rank R&D if they have any questions and ill answer it to the best of my knowledge. I have over 2500 hours on GMOD on separate accounts if that says anything about my activity lol. How active can you be? As Active as Permitted, i have other Jobs -- Omi-9 which is about to be Nu-7 and also Maintenance.. then this R&D job if i get in, but i can be as active as 3-5 hours on the server on different jobs at the same time if that says anything, you need me on the server.. ill be on. @pixalgamer99 Something tells me you read a paragraph, then decided to write this. I said they're can be ways to tell if its RDM or not, 1 by video evidence during a situation.. if a d class calls a sit, then one side or both sides will need to present evidence otherwise there's nothing to be done, or staff/command can come up with better rules but not total elimination of this "self defense" rule. What are you suggesting? - Im Suggesting Maintenance should have LESS but not total elimination of the "self defense" rule. I know this will be declined but that's not the point, the point is to let command know how us maintenance feel and why maintenance is mostly inactive and tired of the nonsense rules. One of the things that troubles me as being Maintenance is the Self Defense Rules.. Sure, we are level 1-2 personell with low clearance and " non-Combatant" i get it.. however there is many problems with the non-combanatant quota and here is why--- If 1 Singular D Class is Threatening you with a gun and you try and kill them because its technically self-defense.. Command will Complain and Strike you because you're " Non-Combatant " until they start shooting bullets into your skull, by that time your dead and have to wait for NLR which is 2 minutes.. so then you walk back to the area on a defcon 4 and oh guess what? now hes there again and keeps killing you while threatening you but you cant do nothing because you're " non-Combatant." Another Example of something is, if you're in the incinerator room and you have 3 bags out and some random mingey d class comes and destroys your bags that you spent 10 minutes collecting then guess what.. you cant kill them for breaking your shit, So then Maintenance people get frustrated and flag off the job or maybe dont even come back on because of these stupid self defense rules. If there was less of a limit i think protecting your trash bags should be called "D.Y.G" Defend Your Garbage, Automatically you can kill any d class that is around your garbage and threatening you or breaks it, This protocol could only be activated during Defcon 3 or below.. and for the other problem with D Class threatening you.. i believe you should be able to defend yourself only during defcon 3 and below and if its defcon 4 or 5 then you're back to non-combative to be fair. Like i said i know this will be declined but i want you to stop and discuss ways to make maintenance feel more important and maybe more people will flag on if these rules weren't so damn tight, Y'Know? If so, explain. - Disadvantages of this change would there may be RDM, and of course we all dont want that.. so if any problems arise there should be either video evidence and a penalty if anyone is caught lying in the admin sit.. this may stop liers. another disadvantage would there will be many complaints about this change by D Class, minges And/Or Gensec.. like i said i know i cant change a thing but if all my maintenance friends fought for this change i believe we could get a change and a voice.. maybe our branch might be respected and might have more active people and better RP Who would this change mostly benefit? - Mostly it would benefit Maintenance, Partly for Gensec. It would benefit Maintenance because we might actually get better numbers if we were able to defend ourselves during DEFCON 3 and below due to the fact people wont flag off when theres crazy shit happening and they know they cant defend themselves without some mingy D Class coming along and threatening them and shooting them.. its just unfair and i believe it would help this branch and the server to have maintenance on.. it would help with RP.. Of Course theres should be LIMITATIONS to these Rules, Maintenance can defend during DEFCON 3 but can NOT go to D-Block and help GENSEC, they can NOT go to HCZ and help MTF, they can NOT help kill CI unless they're being threanted by only 1 of them. but of course those are only ideas, the admins or maintenance command can come up with better rules.. but please give this change a voice, it would better RP for not only Maintenance but also the Foundation due to the fact people will actually take maintenance seriously and may FLAG on. Lore Name: Clawz Rank: SR SCP: SCP-008, SCP-500 Question / Idea: by using SCP 500 on a SCP 008-2 D Class would it heal the brain enough so that we can then microchip the zombie and use zombie soldier d class that we can control.. Background Research: SCP-500 is known as a pill that can heal certain properties of a body, if injected with SCP-008 its possible to make a zombie pill that can also heal the brain enough so it responds to commands after being injected with a microchip. Hypothesis: My Hypothesis is that the pill would be taken by the d class and then it should hopefully heal the brain enough so that we may control a zombie soldier useful for combat. Observations (What Happened During Test): We safely collected SCP-008 and then proceeded to get a d class, we then injected SCP-008 into SCP 500 Pill and instructed the D Class to Swallow the Pill, we all had hazmat suits on to be safe.. after the D Class Swallowed the Pill he Collapsed for an hour and then woke up.. during that time we microchipped them with a controlling chip V3. After SCP-008-2 woke up it said "Oh my head, where am I" we then explained a bit and then asked it to do basic things to see if it would listen, it did listen to all of our orders, we then realized it would be unsafe to keep SCP-008-2 out because it can infect others so we tested another d class to see if it would get affected by SCP-008-2. SCP-008-2 was instructed to scratch the d class and after it scratched it.. nothing happened, we waiting another hour for any results and then the d class's skin turned inside out and grey and they seemed to be looking like SCP-008-2 now.. it seems as if this new SCP-008-2 Strand infects another individual it does make Zombies that we can control, this would be a useful bioweapon against our enemies, however it needs more testing.. therefore i concluded the test and ordered SCP-008-2 and SCP-008-3 to enter the Incinerator Room, they gladly went in and got burnt to a crisp and the test concluded. Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): SCP-500 Being injected with a zombie virus and being given to a Human that's been microchipped with a Controlling Chip V3.. it is very interesting how the subject followed orders, even if it is in some way sentient.. just think of the things we can do with this.. if someone was close to death we could give them this variant of SCP-008 and SCP-500 and they'll be dead and alive and sentient again and can have their uses just as when they were alive. We could use these dead variants and train them to take on SCPS that have escaped the facility without taking human lives, in conclusion.. very proud of this test and hope to test more on this to see if we can make more of these creatures. What warning did you receive: Homophobia X2 | LTAP When did you receive this warning: Today Please give a description of the situation that led to the warning: Its a Bit of a long story, It begins 3 days ago after joining the server.. we had PT and i was having a really fun time and everything was good after that.. until 3 days later when as soon as i come in the server i'm told to stay still and get handcuffed by a LT. naturally im like.. "Why"? and so he brings me back inside the security room and he tells me, " you said the f word to somebody so im going to have to remove you from security " At first i thought he meant i said " Fuck " to somebody, which i did but it was all in good fun because it was like a red vs blue kinda thing and everyone was having a good time. Anyways, then he tells me that i said the homophobic slur, and at first i was kind of surprised... i know i never said that.. especially in front of the many admins that were watching the Security PT. So Naturally we argue back and forth and apparently he gets the Go-to by a higher up to demote me under no proof. So i called an Admin to Try and explain why the hell im getting demoted, Yknow? Anyways the admin comes and askes what the problem is and then i explain to him, and i did use the word that i was accused of saying before because obviously i was trying to explain what i was accused of... and so unfortunately someone took it out of context and recorded the part of me explaining it to the LT and the admin and that resulted in the Warn for Homophobia.. the reason why i got the LTAP is because i was Disgusted and frustrated, and he would not let me out the binds after he unwhite-listed me and the admin left. So Therefore i left and immeditaely joined back so i can call an admin, right when i was about to call an admin i get warned.. so i called an admin after i got the warn and then we deal with stuff for about an hour and they would not believe me and was saying it was against the rules.. they were also Security which i think they were being Bias... Eventually an Higher Up Admin comes on and tells the other admins they were wrong and the higher-up admin unblack-listed me and say im not blacklisted and i did say the word but only while explaining to the admin and the LT.. not in a disrespectful manner. So I got Redirected to this link and i am now trying to appeal this warn, because it is void and therefore i should not have it. Why do you think this warn was false: Read Above, but: it is false because an higher-up admin said i did nothing but explain and i wasnt using the "F Word" in a rude manner and the LTAP was because the guy wouldnt let me out of the cuffs and i was already unwhite-listed so i came back and wanted to call another admin.
