  1. 1: What's your in-game name? My in-game name is Tank SFC Joker TT3821. 2: What is your SteamID as shown on roster? My SteamID is STEAM_0:0:221968609. 3: How long have you been on the server? I first joined the server 435 days ago, and I currently have 5 weeks of playtime on the server. 4: How many warns on Gaminglight servers do you have? I have one warn on the Imperial RP server, for player disrespect on May 19, 2022. 5: Why do you want to be an officer? I want to be an officer because I have dedicated myself to the tank battalion. I’ve decided to do this because it’s a very fun battalion and I’ve met a lot of cool people through it. I want to be an officer because I feel as if I can further improve the battalion as being an officer. I would like to be one as soon as possible because Tank Troopers are low on officers and members and I want to do what I can to improve that. 6: What time zone are you in? I am in the Eastern Standard Time Zone. 7: What can you do to improve the battalion? In order to improve the battalion as an officer, I can host more SIMs and trainings that help capture the allure of Tank Troopers to the server. Some of these ideas would be using weapons that Tank Troopers use, using vehicles and allowing others to try them out so they can get a good feel for it. Also, I could better lead newer NCOs and Enlisted in the battalion. For the new NCOs, I could give them tips and pointers on being NCO like with tryouts and also maturity. I would also lead as an example for what the NCOs would want to do should they wish to become officers as well. Not only would I be a good example to NCOs, but to the enlisted as well. As an officer, I can better lead and show the new people to Tank Troopers how we operate and what to expect, and better answer questions that they may have. 8: How do you differ from other applicants? I believe that I am different from other applicants because I am truthful, stern and serious, but still know when to have fun and enjoy it. Some might make false promises in applications to look good, but I mean everything I say. Ever since I joined Tank Troopers I’ve loved it, the people are cool, the loadouts are sick, and the activities are plenty. These are why I’ve decided to dedicate myself to the battalion. I enjoy having fun with the guys in the battalion and messing around with them, but at the same time I do realize there’s a time and place and sometimes we need to get serious. I’m not accusing anyone else of not being like this, I’m just stating these are my best attributes I can offer for Tank Troopers and why I believe that makes me different from others.
  2. Questions: What is your IGN? My in game name is 501st HVY MAJ Joker 1972/ARCAL MAJ Stec 02 What regiment are you applying for? 501st Vice Commander Why do you want to be a Vice Commander of this branch? For starters, I would like to become a Vice Commander of 501st because I love the battalion and the members in it. 501st, for me, has been something of a home for me. There's always so much fun to have while I'm on the job, whether it be crazy trainings or just messing around with other members. Whenever I feel bored of one thing or another I go to the 501st because they are always welcoming, and are always having fun. This doesn't even need to be on the server, for even just being in the Teamspeak channel and talking with the guys always brings a smile on my face. Now when I say this, I usually think of my Vice Commanders and Commander. Ever since I was an enlisted, these guys have been making me laugh and have fun in the battalion. A part of the reason I want to be a Vice Commander is so I can help other enlisted, or anyone on the server for that matter, experience the same joy that I felt when first joining all the way to today. I have been inspired by those before me as Vice Commander and above. They have inspired me to become a Vice Commander myself to help out the battalion and have fun with the people in it. A problem I ran into in my first battalion was that it's command team wasn't very engaging with its battalion mates. This had left a sour taste in my mouth and make me not like the battalion I was in, enough for me to want to leave. Then, I came into the 501st and realized they were nothing like that other battalion. These guys were always active and engaging with others whenever they could, and those negative feelings I had about higher ranking positions were gone. I aspire to be like these guys and do the same thing they did, which is inspire others around me to do better and better within the battalion, being active, climbing the ranks, and have a good time. Finally, I have somewhat of an idea of what it is to be high ranking, so I feel like becoming Vice Commander is the next big step in the 501st for me. I will have the ability to do everything I could and more to help out my boys in blue and keep them entertained. I wish to work with the 501st command team to add new things for the battalion to make it more alluring for others to join, for people to come back to, and for people to stay. Also, I would like to go through the documents and whatnot and improve on anything that needs to be improved. How much time do you have on this server? 653:26 hours, been on the server for 7 months. https://www.battlemetrics.com/players/1035205106 What is the main purpose of the Vice Commander of a branch? The main purpose of the Vice Commander is primarily to assist the Commander of the branch. However, in my own opinion, a Vice Commander should be a great role model to everyone and always help out to those in need of it, alongside with assisting their Commander. They should always strive to be active and be engaging with the others of their battalion to keep them engaged and entertained in the battalion. Vice Commanders are the ones that will take charge of the battalion when the Commanders are busy, which they usually are. They should always be aware of what's happening within their branch and act accordingly if any issues arise. Also, a Vice Commander should be assessing everyone in the battalion and making sure they're fit to be a part of the battalion. They should be active with the NCOs and Officers, helping them out with any questions and concerns they may have with their duties and with their battalion. They can do this by guiding them through tryouts and SIMs, giving them pointers and tips, and lastly showing them the right way to make it to their own position. To summarize all this, a Vice Commander is more than just an assistant to the Commander, they are a great part of their battalions. Why should we trust you to be a Vice Commander? You should trust me to be a Vice Commander because I can and will do everything I can to keep the 501st active and a great battalion. Following this statement, and this will sound pessimistic, I think that the 501st battalion isn't as active and popular as it once was. I feel like there are multiple reasons for this, such as inactivity, school and work, and just general burn outs or boredom. Now, as a Major, I do my best to make flag ups and talk to people, do SIMs and host tryouts to try and get as many people back on or into 501st as possible. However, I personally feel like being an officer doesn't have the same effect as a Vice Commander. Don't get me wrong, there are still plenty of people that look up to officers, but Vice Commanders have just that little bit more influence over their battalion and the server as a whole. As a Vice Commander, I could do all of these better than I could before. As for school and work, there isn’t much I or anyone can do about these things other than accept, deal, and work around/with it. However, there are days and times within the week that people have off and can come onto the server and on 501st. As a Vice Commander, it would be much easier to do SIMs, trainings, and missions for these people so they have an incentive to stay online and have fun. Finally, for those who are just burnt out and bored, as a Vice commander I would have the ability to host missions for my battalion and others if they choose to join to make it all more interesting, fun, and in general just a good place to be. How often can you be online? I do not have any classes nor a job, so I can be online any day of the week unless something were to come up. Do you have any warnings, if so what for? I do not have any warns on any gaminglight server. Thank you for your time -Joker
