  1. I think it would be prudent to understand that with the right type of implementation, alongside a good level of rules within this role, the point/s that you have argued would become less likely if this ever came to fruition. I understand that you may feel there would be minges on this type of job. However, sacrificing the idea on the grounds that it may become mingy would be rather short-sighted when it comes to introducing new and exciting things to the server, in my opinion, this could be added and again, with the right implementation and with clear and concise rules this could become a new and fun way to spend your time on the server.
  2. Yeah I am usually on the server at peak times, I just go by this name DT S99 Which is why you probably do not recognise the name
  3. In-game name: Seth SteamID: STEAM_0:1:89141742 Current RP rank on StarWarsRP: DT SSGT Have you donated to the server?: Yes, $300-400 Have you been banned on any GL server before?: No Have you received any warnings (please give reasons if applicable)?: No How much time do you have on the server?: Just under 2 weeks How well do you know the LORE? Explain: I am very well versed within Star Wars lore, both CW and Imperial. I have watched a lot of lore videos on Youtube in regards to certain battles within the Imperial timeline such as the battle for Mandalor, I have also watched all of SW Rebels, Rouge One, The Mandolorian, The Obi Wan Kenobi Series, and of course the original trilogy. Why do you WANT to become a Gamemaster?: I would like to become a GM as I enjoy playing on the server first and foremost. I enjoy engaging with the community, attending almost every event I can, I enjoy joining and taking part in SIMs that GM's set up. I would also like to become a GM as I believe as a player who spends a lot of time within the community, I should feel obliged to give back to members of the community who make this a good community. I have also enjoyed being a GM on other games in the past, I enjoy thinking and coming up with new and exciting events that engage the player base and ultimately make the server a more enjoyable time. I also would like to become a GM to meet new and exciting individuals and widen my experience within the server. Why should you be trusted to be a Game Master?: I feel I should be trusted with Game Master, as I have a lot of prior experience with being a Game Master on other games, although I have only been a part of the community for a little under 2 weeks, I feel I have proven myself to be a serious person when it comes to how I conduct myself on the server. I believe I should also be trusted as I have not had any prior warning or bans, I think I have shown a good level of professionalism when it comes to giving feedback on events. Are you familiar/experiences with ULX?: Unfortunately I am not. But I am a fast learner Are you experienced with being a Game Master and how they function?: Yes, although many servers and games differ with what GM's can and cannot do, I believe I am well versed in being a GM. I understand on this server GM's are expected to come up with ideas on events and host them, alongside this I am aware that GM's take tickets on certain things such as helping out on battalion try-outs by equipping players with guns and editing players HP and armour. Along side this, I am aware that GM's host SIMs ranging from many different things, such as PvP SIMs to parkour SIMs Give a brief example of an on-ship event, as well as an example of an off-ship event: DESCRETION IS KEY PT1 Rebels have boarded the ISD with what seems to be some kind of droid, the intentions of the rebels are to escort this droid to the Command Offices and download highly sensitive Tie Fighter Assembly Line locations. High Command has ordered all personnel to apprehend or kill the rebels and droid. Unfortunately during all the chaos another team of rebels managed to slip by security and download the Tie Fighter Assembly Line located on a remote outer rim planet. The band of rebels and there droid manage to escape into hyperspace. However, one of the rebels was captured and fortunately for the Empire the rebel was carrying a set of coordinates that handily matched a Tie Development Facility located on an Outer rim planet. DESCRETION IS KEY PT2 In an attempt to stop the rebels from hitting a devastating blow to the Empires Tie Fighter Supply, the Empire attempts to send the ISD to a remote Outer rim planet in order to protect the Tie Fighter Reserves. The ISD is quickly brought out of hyperspace and quickly realises that the rebels have already landed and are setting up defensive positions around the base. The Empire sends the personnel of the ISD down to the planet to mount a frontal assault on the base. After advancing through the Rebel defences, the Imperials realise that the base has been closed off from the outside, in order to stop the rebels from planting devastating explosives, the Imperials must find a way to open the doors. AND FAST. Do you know how to give a weapon/SWEP to yourself/someone? (Give an example):!give @ rw_sw_dual_dc17s Do you know how to model yourself/someone? (Give an example): !model ^ <model name> Have you read the Gamemaster Guidelines?: Yes, a handful of times.
  4. What is your in-game name?: Seth What is your steam name?: Seth What is your steam ID?: STEAM_0:1:89141742 Do you have any other experience with staffing?: (If yes, explain) Yes, I have had a lot of experience both staffing and developing on servers. I was Staff Manager on a server which housed anywhere from 200-300 players a day on FiveM, I held this position for around 2 years, along side this I have had a lot of experience staffing on a Arma 3 server and held the position for multiple years. What date did you start playing on the community? (roughly) Just under 2 weeks What date did you make your forums account? 8th August Current rank on server (This is a ULX rank ONLY! Not a RP Rank)? N/A How many warns do you have on the server? 0 Have you donated? Yes, around $300-400 What rank are you applying for? Trial Moderator Have you read the staff guidelines at You will be tested on it: Yes, I have read the guidelines a handful of times. Timezone: GMT (UK) Permission (Admin+ need this): N/A Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (Can be any length): I believe I deserve a shot at this rank as although I am new to the community, I have a lot of passion for the community. I enjoy being on the server a lot and I believe I should be compelled to join the staff team to better help the server in my own little way. I have a lot of knowledge when it comes to being a staff member. I know how to conduct myself on the server within a professional manner. Even though I feel I have a lot of experience in the field of staffing I am always open to learning and taking advice from other members of the community. I would say I am a kind and polite individual who naturally puts others before myself. To add to this, I believe I deserve the position as I get on well with members of the community, I speak with many different members of the community, from higher ranking staff members to new people. I enjoy staffing as I feel good helping other individuals and helping people who are new too the server. Further more, I am a very active member within the community and I think its only right I should put some of that time into helping better the community in what little way I can. Additionally, I think it would be good for me to become a staff member to help other staff members and bolster the numbers of the staff team. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you?: Although I am unaware on what tools a trial moderator has within this staff team. I would firstly ask if there is proof of the situation that has occurred if so I would then try to speak to the individual politely and ask him on why he did what he did. Although some staff sits seem easy to read, some of the time there is a reason as to why someone has done something, sometimes, not all the time. Depending on how the individual answers would depend on how I would proceed. If the individual is clearly not cooperating with myself, I would then prevent the individual from talking, and proceed to explain the individual what he/she has done wrong, along with this I would then either warn & ban the individual for 5 days myself (if that is allowed) for the rule break and try to explain the individual what he/she needs to do to prevent this situation happening again or do the prior and warn & ban the individual with the permission of which ever rank can grant me the ability to warn & ban the individual, I would usually then link the rules in the chat and tell them to go look at them.
  5. What do you want to see?: I would like to suggest a scavenger system, to add some detail. This system would be able to be purchased on the store for however much money. This would then whitelist the player too 1 of the 2 possible purchase whitelist slots. Either Scavenger or Advanced Scavenger. These people would have there own vendor where they buy disguises, such as Stormtrooper, 501st etc etc. There main objective would be to kidnap troopers and take there guns and possibly ransom them and then either sell or store there new guns. Along with this, the Scavenger and Advanced Scavenger could differ with things such as Scavengers only having rope ties and no gun on spawn where as Advanced Scavengers would have elastic ties (Red Restraints) & a gun that you spawn with. Why should we add it?: It would bring another exciting way to play the server, it would be interesting for shock as they could help hunt down and arrest these scavengers. It would also be interesting for Naval players as they could do more ID checks with certain people. It would bring another level of roleplay within the server whilst events are being planned. What are the advantages of having this?: It would bring another level of roleplay to the server, it would also increase the chances of different situations for Shock and Naval as I have said prior. It would also be very interesting for guarding battalions as they would need to be more alert on where there VIP's are and where they are going to decrease the risk of there VIP getting kidnapped. Who is it mainly for?: Everybody Links to any content: I am unsure of any links to content.
  6. Great guy, even though he has reached high in DT before he has no ego, great to talk too. Very understanding person. Massive +1
  7. In-Game name: DT SPC DC3 SteamID: STEAM_0:1:89141742 Rank: CPL How long have you been in your current rank?: 1 day What experiences in leadership do you have?: Within the server, I have not had any experience in regards to leading. However, I have had extensive leadership roles within other communities such as Arma 3 Life, where I was a Chief Constable, along with FiveM where I was a lead developer. During these times I experienced a lot of different situations. These included things such as having an extensive knowledge on Google Spreadsheets, understanding how to setup professional looking documentations, learning how to lead a team with many different individuals with different experiences and opinions. Along side this, I have had a lot of experience in dealing with matters that are of a delicate nature, which in turn has taught me to keep a good amount of discretion and logic to avoid any issues that could possible arise. Further more, I think with the amount of leadership roles I have had in the past I would like to think I am a good role model. I have come to learn over the years that being in a leadership role within any part of a community requires a lot of understanding of consequences of actions, I have learnt that my actions can effect many different things such as the outlook on the regiment along with the outlook on myself. I think it is very important for a leader to know when it is okay to have fun, and when times require a more serious way of approaching things. Too add to this, I would like to think I have good people skills, which is very important for any type of leader to have, it is very important to be open to your fellow members, in order to build a good relationship with yourself and those around you. I have also learnt over my time in leadership roles, that being open to change is a very important quality to have. To look to future endeavours to better progress the project that I work on. Lastly, over the years of being in these types of roles, I have learnt that time management is a very important quality to have, learning how to maximise your output on certain tasks and roles in short/long periods of time. Why do you want to be a non-commissioned officer?(100+ Word minimum) I would like to become a non-commissioned officer as I would like to further challenge myself within the Deathtrooper squad, I would also like to bring the skills and qualities I have to help benefit the Deathtrooper regiment. Further more, I think it would be a great to learn new skills while doing this as although I believe I have a lot of leadership experience, there is always more experience to be gained. I would also like to become a non-commissioned officer to help other individuals within the regiment, in my opinion I believe it is important to help those who may be struggling as it will only benefit themselves, along with the regiment. alongside this, I would like to join as I enjoy doing try-outs for other individuals within the community, I enjoy keeping myself busy and I believe hosting try-outs will help fill my time up a bit more within the regiment. Lastly, I would like to become a non-commissioned officer as I believe I have a lot of time to give to the regiment, I really enjoy playing as a Deathtropper and I think this will only add to the amazing experience I have had while playing as a Deathtrooper What makes you stand out amongst the others?(110+Word minimum) I believe I stand out amongst the other applicants as I have a good amount of experience as previously stated. I am open to other individuals, I can give and take criticism in a professional and friendly way. As stated prior, I do have a lot of time for regimental activities, such as training, try-outs, events. I would like to believe I am a likeable person within the regiment. Further more, I think I stand out from others as I have a good amount of professionalism along with a more relaxed way of behaving. Although admittedly I am only a SPC I believe I stand out from others as I learn quickly from others, I am not afraid to make mistakes and most importantly I learn from my mistakes and move on. Do you understand that if you fail to meet the expectations of an NCO you can be removed from your position? I understand the prior statement.
