Above the Law

Many of you may have noticed that I haven't been very active lately, and I apologize for that. Writing this post is not easy for me, but I know it's necessary. I would hate to make a friend remove or demote me. Over the past two years, I have had so much fun in this community and have met so many people that I can now call my best friends. It may sound corny, but I feel like I have grown and changed as a person because of this server. I have learned skills here that I likely wouldn't have learned anywhere else. Here is a quick run down of my time on the server. In my second week of playing, I was lucky enough to make my first friend on the server, Matt2. He was an incredible guy who always treated others with kindness, which made it easy to be around him. After spending some time together in D-Block, I decided to join Security. However, I soon realized that Gensec was not my cup of tea and quickly went back to playing D-Class. It was then that I met Earl, a Research member who took me for my first test on the server. I accompanied him to 096, where he helped me create a paper mache copy of its face. To my surprise, I managed to survive the test, and Earl brought me back to D-Block. This experience is what ignited my passion for Research, and I am grateful to Earl for introducing me to it. Thanks to him, I am able to sit here and write this announcement today After that test, I went and got trained by Earl for the branch. I still remember my first test… I cut off a D-Class' arms to see if he would die from picking up too much candy. (He did die.) Research at the time was perfect. I enjoyed getting feedback from all the command that were active at that time. I loved the map and I loved the community that I was surrounded by. Joining RFA for the first time was a dream come true for me, as I was thrilled to be a part of it. Later on, I was promoted to Deputy Head of RAU, but I soon realized it wasn't the right fit for me. Fortunately, I was able to move over to RFA OA3, and that made me incredibly happy. After Billy Bob's resignation, the Sub Branch was left in an awkward position, but I made a promise to myself to do my best to improve it. I worked hard towards this goal, and I believe that I brought about some positive changes, although some may have been for the worse. I vividly remember the day I was promoted to DHOR; it was the culmination of all the hard work I had put in, and I was overjoyed. The experience of being part of the HCMD was simply amazing, and I enjoyed every moment of it. However, it was heartbreaking to see my friends resign, especially those who had helped me to reach the position of DHOR. Nevertheless, I am grateful for having grown up in the Research branch. It has been a remarkable experience, and I will always cherish the memories. Sadly, my days of being a minging and mic spamming as a D-Class have come to an end. It really hurts to see the server die off; it really has been fun. Moonrose: I never talked to you often because you were always kind of hidden away in a locked TS channel but from what I heard you were amazing. Everyone and including myself can see the hard work you put into the branch. Nydekore: You were a funny and amazing guy. Just like Billy Bob and Moonrose you were a hard worker and you loved your branch with your heart. It sucked seeing you leave Smitty: I also never really talked to you much outside of meetings but I saw you a bit on the PBJ server back when that was a thing and I hope to maybe hang out with you more in the future! Domz: If I’m being honest, back when I joined Research you were the person I hoped to get on and see every single day. You were hilarious and had the attitude that I always strived to have. Seeing you leave really hit me and even caused me myself to consider leaving. Cintal ( Femboy We may have had our moments and fights but you have always been a great person. You are funny, hard working, and when you set goals you stick to them which is great. If you don’t leave then I hope to see you in that DHOR position. Earl: Another big one… Earl you are the reason why I even get to make an announcement like this. If it weren’t for your amazing attitude and presentation then I wouldn’t have joined the branch when I did. Shadows: Can’t say a lot of what I’d like to say but you are absolutely amazing. You work so hard on D5 and A1 alongside your college work… You deserve so much more than that VCMDR slot and you know it. I know you’ll go places in GL and IRL. If only you had stayed with Astronomy Tanner: You’re a furry dude, don’t lie. Purp: Get HCMD omfg. I’m going to lose my mind if I ever come back and still see you on that damn HSU job. Piller: You stuck with the server through thick and thin. You deserve SMT and more. You’re a hard worker, you’re out going, and you’re funny. Could be a bit nicer to people, otherwise still a cool person. Pills: I really enjoyed working with you, you were just super funny and made HCMD more fun to be in. Alexx: Fuck you for stealing my GL A1 name and using it in Civils smh. Going to bring you to court. On a real note I fucking loved you lmfao. I remember like when I first joined CI I had put you in cages and shit. Those were the days lol! Long live CI General Alexx! Infected: I didn’t know much about you until you came off reserves but you were funny af. Goofy ahh scream. Weiss: I wasn’t here during your time as HOR but I know you did amazing. You deserved 05, I loved working with you. BlackBeard: I don’t think I ever really talked to you much but you were pretty cool. Kevlar: Idk what to say about you TBH. You were funny asf lmfao. Catalyst: I really enjoyed that RP we did on site 23 with the whole medical incident. Wish GL had more RP so then we could do more of that. Chief: Pretty cool manager. Sucks what people did to you. You didn’t deserve that. Matt2: He may be a furry but he is pretty damn cool. I respect this guy. J0lt: Lucario is cool. Grizz: We had our disagreements but I always thought you were a cool guy. I respect you a lot. Avalon: We have never seen eye to eye but I thought you had the right ideas and spirit. You did what you could to keep the branch running, it sucks you got force resigned. Vintage: Bro I loved roleplaying with you lol. I was hyped af when you got HCMD. Star: Bro that big goodbye was kinda funny. Baby Arm: I didn’t really know much about you until we got HCMD. I’m glad to have gotten to work with you. You’ve given me some amazing advice here and there and you always know how to make people laugh. You’re an amazing HCMD and an amazing friend. Bucket: You don’t get a big mention because you keep bullying me. Fuck you. Sprink: I know what you said Laggy: I can see you being an amazing HCMD one day. If you stick around the server that is. You may have a dog shit PC but you have the right mindset and attitude for a HCMD position. Gigazet: Bro you gotta stop resigning and taking reserves Johny Boi: You’re a funny guy lmfao. I have so many good memories of this guy. Every time I saw him on I would get super excited because I knew something funny would happen. Also a great Maynard. Phil: “I’ll bully CI for you…” Curtis: Turtles are kinda mid. Goat: Like his name, he is literally a goat. I loved this guys work. I just wish he got SA sooner. He def deserved it and more. Skela: Don’t think I was around when you were here but holy christ I wish I had you as a personal trainer. I tried to mention as many people as I could remember. I may have missed some people.
