[50+ words] I would use the NCO rank to help guide and mentor the enlisted force in Nova, to try to help Nova to grow as a battalion and be a positive group to spend time in and join. I would also use the rank to encourage players to join Nova and to host tryouts so that the most qualified individuals make it through selections. As an NCO I would also lead by example, by being a role model for the enlisted force of Nova and by knowing the SOP and other guidelines for the unit and using said knowledge to mentor the enlisted. Why do you want to become an NCO? [50+] I want to become an NCO in Nova to help the battalion grow. Nova has been a very welcoming group, with a great atmosphere and I have enjoyed every second of it. Attending and assisting tryouts has been a personal favorite of the activities I have done in Nova and I would love to be given the opportunity to run them and help contribute towards the battalion. Do you have any experience leading / being an NCO? No, I have not been an NCO on server but I would like the opportunity to lead and try it out. What is the purpose/duty of an NCO? [75+] The duty of an NCO is to lead and mentor the enlisted force. NCO's lead by example and set the standard so that the enlisted can learn what it means to be part of the battalion. NCO's should be subject matter experts and should have the know how and ability to successfully lead their troops. NCO's don't lead through force, they lead through respect, respect which is rightfully earned through their ability. The enlisted force should have full confidence in their NCO's to properly guide them on the correct path to improving themselves. NCO's should also have the full confidence of their command staff to execute any of their assigned tasks to the best of their abilities.
