Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (Can be any length):
Have have several reasons and I will explain them below
1. I have been a long time member of the community and believe I can be trusted with this position as I have made it all the way to Commander.
2. I believe I handle myself seriously to become a staff member and do not play favorites in handling situations which deal with punishments. I like to stick by the guidelines and rules and not go outside of them.
3. I have experience with ULX which should allow me to easily learn how to properly do all the steps in banning someone for example.
4. I believe I have plenty of experience in Star Wars RP, having over 1500+ hours just to it alone and know overall how most situations work with punishments and how to handle a sit. This is also explained in the staff handbook.
How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you?:
My overall attitude in the sit would always to remain polite and treat the person nicely, I do not disrespect or interupt when they speak. Only moderate them when they are disrespectfful towards me
1. I would first gag the person cursing at me after I gave them several verbal warnings to stop. If they continue to be disruptive in the chat as well, I would mute them. Commands for this would be !gag Name and !mute
2. I would start the sit by explaining why i brought them and the evidence I have collected (Logs, videos, etc) I would then give them a chance to explain their actions and why he/she does not believe they commited such an action. If it turns out to be them just being disrespectful at me, I would just !gag them again
3. I would have any other person in the sit with evidence probably returned when I render my decision, I would just say to them you are being returned, thank you for the report.
4. Continuing on with the sit, once my decision of punishment or not has been made, I would inform them of the decision.
5 In this case the decision made is to give them a formal warning at minmum for the Mass RDM X(number of people killed) and most likely staff disrespect if they are constantly disrespecting me.
6 Then after the formal warning I would explain the warn, and the ban they are recieving for 5 days for the Mass RDM. I would say before banning them that they can go to the forum under Imperial RP, Ban Appeals if they wish to appeal the ban or warn.
7. After sitting there for about 20 to 40 seconds after telling the person this I would then ban them to make sure they understood what was said to them.
8 Finally the ban would be !ban Name 7200 (Minutes) Reason: Mass RDM X(Number of People Killed)
9. If a ticket was openned for this sit I would then close the ticket.
Anything else such as extending the ban for various reasons I would probably speak with another staff member as I don't believe Trail moderators have much in the way of permission.
Overall the sit shouldn't take too long but the player would recieve a Formal Warning and a ban in this case.
