  1. +Support - Extremely dedicated - Excellent leadership skills - Very friendly and supportive - Wants Purge to succeed Tyranis is hands down the best choice for Purge Commander. This man brought me into the regiment and ever since joining, I have never felt more welcome or appreciated in any battalion I have been a part of, on this server or otherwise. Tyranis is an excellent leader. He listens to the troopers under his command and is always willing to consider any suggestions that benefit the regiment. He rewards those that do well and is always available to listen to concerns or just chat, even when not in game. He fits every hallmark of what makes a good leader and I cannot stress enough how proud I am to serve under him in Purge. The regiment can only benefit from him leading it.
  2. +SUPPORT - Very active - Dedicated - Passionate - Excellent RP - Previous leadership experience Having previously served with Steeley in the Navy, I can personally vouch for his skills as a leader and his dedication to his regiment. During our time in the Navy, Steeley was one of the only people that went above and beyond to help his regiment and while I'd like to think I did just as much, if I'm honest, he did even more. He was always willing to help enlisted and NCOs with making sure they new their jobs and was an absolute tryout machine. Show me anyone on the server who hosts as many tryouts as this man and I will eat my hat. Aside from just total dedication to the regiment he is in, Steeley is a genuinely nice person and is not afraid to speak his mind when he disagrees with something and, if he does feel he needs to speak up about something, then it is a good idea to listen to what he has to say because he seldom makes a fuss without good reason. I have Zero doubts that Steeley would be anything less that excellent as Sev and if anyone might say otherwise they are, quite frankly, one thousand percent wrong.
  3. -Support -Issues with attitude -Disrespectful toward others At this time, I do not feel that Senior Crewman Oxley is ready for the responsibilities that come with being an NCO. He has temper issues, has spoken ill of others to me personally, and has been reprimanded for his disrespectful attitude in Purge, which, as I am also a Sergeant in said battalion, I feel I am qualified to take into consideration when making my remarks. One of an NCO's main responsibilities is making sure newer enlisted know their jobs and to teach them what they need to know. This requires patience and understanding, which is something I feel Oxley does not have enough of when dealing with others. I invite him to prove me wrong and show me that he can keep his attitude in check. I sincerely hope that he can do so and, until that time, I am afraid that I cannot support his application for Junior Officer -SSO Sub-Lieutenant Yorn/Purge HVYTO SGT Crazy CR67
  4. +/- Support Overall, I support this application, with a few caveats. The Navy needs another Vice Admiral. It needs someone who can help pull it out of the current slump it is in and while I don't think Pink is the best choice for that right now, I believe he can be as long as he has oversight and support from higher up, as well as the men who serve under him. As much as I love to joke around and poke fun at Pink from time to time, I sincerely believe he cares for the Navy and I respect him for that. He is active and despite also being an officer in Medical, he finds time to be on his Navy life. However, he can be quite immature at times and that is something that needs to change if he is accepted into this position. I believe he can do it and if he is accepted I will support him and do anything within my ability to help him. Good luck, Pink.
  5. +1000 Easiest +1 I've ever given. I've seen nothing but good things from this Crewman. When he is assigned a task, he gets it done promptly and if he doesn't know something, not only does he ask for help, he makes sure he's understood everything and does it correctly. If he doesn't have an assigned task, he is always asking for something to do. To put it plainly, this is the type of drive and commitment I'd like to see from every member of the Navy. I have no doubts that he will be just as reliable and even more effective as a junior officer.
  6. + Support Steeley is the man. Always grinding tryouts, staying on top of of supplies, and is just an all around good NCO. The future of Navy would be much brighter with more officers like him
  7. What is your in game rank and name? SO CPO Yorn What is your STEAM ID? STEAM_0:0:67121774 Names of both Lieutenant Commander+ (MAJ+) that gave you permission to apply: Vice Admiral Coolinic and ISB Agent 21 Kallus How long have you been in Naval? 2 weeks Why do you wish to become a Senior Officer? Navy is the only life I have or want. I wish to see the Navy grow into the regiment that I know it is and can be and as such, I believe that I can better serve that purpose as a senior officer. What are the duties of a Senior Officer? The duties of a senior officer are much like those of an NCO but with a greater focus on leadership and dedication. A senior officer will train new recruits and NCOs, making sue they are equipped to handle all of their respective duties and responsibilites. How will you assist the battalion as a Senior Officer? I will do as I have been doing as an NCO namely, holding tryouts whenever possible, making sure all new recruits are well versed in their duties and responsibilities, training those enlisted crewmembers to become NCOs, and holding trainings and tryouts What qualifies you to be a Senior Officer? As previously stated, I only have a Navy life. I have either ran the navy or been in high ranking positions on multiple Imperial RP servers over the past 5 years or so. As such, this has given me plenty of experience in leadership both on Naval vessels and ground bases. Aside from experience on other servers, I am also a hopeless nerd and am very knowledgeable in how the Imperial Navy operates. Basically, I have no life and used to sit in study hall and just study all things Star Wars and could probably teach a class on it. But I digress. At the end of the day, I have plenty of leadership skills both in GMod servers and real life, and I am committed to making the Navy the best that it can be
  8. What is your in game rank and name: Senior Crewman Yorn What is your STEAM ID: STEAM_0:0:67121774 How long have you been in Naval: 6 days this time aroun Why do you wish to become a Junior Officer: I wish to better serve the Empire by eventually joining ISB. Aside form that, Naval is the only life I intend to have on the server. I enjoy the RP and want to do everything I can to help it grow an prosper What are the duties of a Junior Officer: A junior officer is responsible for teaching the enlisted their duties and to assist their higher ups by hosting tryouts and assigning sectors to the enlisted, making sure that they perform their duties properly How will you assist the battalion as a Junior Officer: I will host plenty of tryouts and personally train anyone I bring into the Navy, as well as any other enlisted that needs guidance. RP wise, I will make sure enlisted have plenty of things to do whether it be sectors or any kind of trainings I am authorized to run. Basically, I will work hard to show the rest of the server the type of regiment I know the Navy can be
  9. + Support to this This is my second run as a Gunnery Officer and we have never had the tools needed for us to properly do our job. I've been in events with very few RE and I couldn't do any of the hacking because I didnt have the tools. Every other specialty in Navy gets the tools of their respective regiment i.e., Security Officers have the proper arrest devices, medical officers have medical tools, etc. Please add this to GO
  10. +Support While I agree that certain parts of the application were a little bare, your more in-depth answers are well written and I've seen what you can do as a member of the Navy. You're a good enlisted member and I look forward to seeing you build off of that as a Security Officer, should your application be accepted
  11. What is your in-game name?: Gunnery Officer EX006 What is your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:67121774 What is your rank on the Naval Roster?: Ensign What specialty are you applying for?: Chief Gunnery Officer(Tenn Graneet) What Naval HC (Commodore+) gave you permission to apply?: Agent Kallus What can you do to improve the branch you will be responsible for? The first thing I would like to do, should I be offered the position, would be to implement certain procedures to add more RP and interaction between Gunnery, Regimental Engineers, and Navy. One thing I have already been doing is targeting system calibrations for the turbolasers and ion cannons. This requires one person in the turbolaser control room and one person on the bridge to coordinate their efforts. It adds a good bit of RP over comms that everyone seems to enjoy. This would become a regularly scheduled thing. I would also implement more frequent weapons and armor inspections. This gives the entire server more opportunity for RP and that is always a good thing. I will always be keeping in touch with the lead engineers of each regiment to ensure that everyone has plenty to do. I have a couple ideas in that regard such as having different regiments be responsible for different sectors on the ship. For example, as the bridge is a high security area, I would have a regiment such as Shock's engineers be responsible for any bridge maintenance or repairs. If none are available, then it would fall to another. I believe this would give each regiment's engineering specialties a sense of importance and make it feel a bit less like every regimental engineer is basically the same. However, these are just RP ideas, which is only half of our job. Combat is the other half of the job. Aside from being gunners and engineers, we have multiple powerful weapons and tools at our disposal to assist ground forces during combat. As such, being able to use them efficiently and effectively is important. Since my time in Gunnery, I have only seen and taken part in one combat training simulation. This will change should I get the job. I intend to run regular combat SIMs both on our own and in conjunction with other regiments so that when we go into battle, we are a well oiled machine. It is also important that Gunnery Officers can operate the turbolasers competently so I will also run regular drills and simulations in the turbolaser control room to keep every gunner in prime condition so that when the ISD is faced with an enemy fleet, we can take them down quickly and keep the ship safe. I also understand that while I may think the ideas I have are good for Gunnery/Engineers, I also understand that others may not agree. That is why, as stated previously, I will constantly be checking in with not only the Lead Engineers of each regiment, but engineers as a whole to ensure that anything that gets implemented is something that everyone wants to see. We may all be from different regiments but we should also act as a cohesive unit and that type of relationship is easier to maintain when everyone is on-board with what is happening. In that regard, my DMs will always be open to accept criticisms and listen to ideas that anyone has. I believe that any idea has the potential to be good and at the end of the day, apart from being responsible for keeping Gunnery/Engineering running smoothly, it would also be my job to ensure that everyone involved is having the best experience possible on the server. That is the most important thing and that is something I will strive to achieve for everyone within the Gunnery/Engineering specialty Why should you be trusted with this position?: I will be the first to admit that I got off to a slightly rocky start when I first joined the server. I did a few things that could be seen as minging and, not that this is an excuse but, before getting back into Gmod, I had run Navy for years on another server, including Engineers/Technicians. It's been a while since I've started at the bottom and I took some time to goof around a bit. Since then, I take my job very seriously. When I get on the server, I am focused on Navy/Gunnery and I have no interest in a trooper life, meaning I am absolutely and completely focused and dedicated on making Gunnery the best it can be. As mentioned earlier, I have years of experience running Navy and Engineers, Having been Admiral a few times over on the now defunct Undead Imperial RP and for the first year or so before I was made Admiral, I ran the engineering division of the Navy. And even though I was High Command for most of my time there, I always had a soft spot for engineers and helped them create most of the procedures they used. On top of all that, I have an admittedly embarrassing amount of knowledge in regards to how technology functions in the Star Wars universe. I can take you step by step through what happens from when you pull the trigger of a blaster to when the bolt leaves the barrel. The same process applies to a turbolaser with a few minor differences. In any case, I'm rambling a bit. My point is that with my previous leadership experience and my in-depth knowledge of Star Wars technology, I believe that not only should I be trusted with this position, I will spend every day on the job proving to everyone that that trust is well deserved Why do you want this rank?: I want this rank because I believe that it is where I will most benefit the Gunnery division. I realize that this answer is much shorter than the others but if I add anything more, I'll just be repeating things I've already said in the last couple questions. Do you understand that if you receive a strike you will be stripped of this rank?: Yes What is your purpose within your assigned branch?: The purpose of the Chief Gunnery Officer is to oversee the Gunnery Division of the Navy, as well as work with the Lead Engineers of each regiment to ensure that all protocols are being followed and new recruits are being trained properly. It is also the purpose of the Chief Gunnery Officer to make sure that Gunnery/Engineers have things to do to keep them engaged and having fun. Thank you for taking the time to read this application and for considering me for the job. I would like to point out that should I not end up getting the job, I will still try and push to see some of my ideas implemented. I think they can benefit not just Gunnery/Engineers, but the server overall and regardless of what my position on the server is, I want it to be a fun time for everyone and will do my best to make it happen
  12. Mark, in the last question I state that overseeing engineers is part of the job
  13. What is your in-game name?: PO2 Yorn What is your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:67121774 What is your rank on the Naval Roster?: PO2 What specialty are you applying for?: Gunnery Officer What Naval HC (Commodore+) gave you permission to apply?: Vice Admiral Elias What can you do to improve the branch you will be responsible for? I have had no life for most of my time on this planet. I spent way too much time reading up on the workings of Star Wars technology and as such, I can bring a fairly in-depth knowledge of how technology functions in lore and can apply that to RP for a more immersive and enriched experience. I also love to talk about this stuff so I would be willing and happy to host training sessions to make the technical side of our RP a fun experience for all Why should you be trusted with this position?: Despite some of my shenanigans, I take my job very seriously. I have been involved with Navy RP on another server for 4+ years and a good chunk of that was running the engineering division, which I understand is a big part of the gunnery branch. It's something I've always had a passion for and I will do my best to make the gunnery division shine Why do you want this rank?: As stated previously, I love the technical side of the Star Wars universe. I take my RP seriously and feel that gunnery would be the most fulfilling role for me within the Navy Do you understand that if you receive a strike you will be stripped of this rank?: Yes What is your purpose within your assigned branch?: To operate the turbolasers during ship to ship combat, to oversee regimental engineers and to support the army in ground combat
