  1. @[GL] Fizz-y SodaI was actually looking around at models just not that long ago, as for SWEPs there is nothing that I've found that adds up at the moment. As for the groups of people with guns waiting outside containment, that might actually not be that bad as they'll generally be in one direction. Putting them all in line of sight of 247, allowing it to hypnotize them & make its escape. Though, in the other hand It has a relatively easy to reach tranq health requirement due to its small size and just how elusive that would make it.
  2. This is another of the SCP's I thought would be an interesting addition. SCP-247, also known as "A Harmless Kitten: DESCRIPTION SCP-247 is a Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris tigris; adult female) which, to all observers, appears to be a harmless cat (Felis catus; juvenile female) with an orange-and-black striped coat resembling that of a tiger. Remote feeds and still photos also show this illusion, although it is unknown whether the photo itself is affected or merely the observer. SCP-247's true nature has been confirmed by analysis of weight, water displacement, and dental moulds made from bite marks. It is unknown exactly how SCP-247 generates this illusion. There are two components to the illusion: first, a memetic effect that changes the perceived image of SCP-247 to that of a kitten, and second, a psychic component which radiates outward from the subject (diminishing according to the inverse square law and reaching half strength at █ meters). Any sentient being within this field comes under the impression that SCP-247 is completely harmless, regardless of prior knowledge or experience. Individuals in this field also show extreme reluctance to harm or allow others to harm SCP-247, even while being actively harmed by the subject. This psychic field can be blocked with SCP-148, or avoided by striking from well outside its effective range. The memetic effect is not blocked by SCP-148; as of yet, no one has been able to see SCP-247 as anything but a small striped cat. Typically SCP-247 will begin to purr or mew when approached by a human. The human will remark that this is adorable, and approach to pet the subject (this has been observed even in persons who strongly dislike cats). SCP-247 has been known to accept affection from its victims for upwards of seven minutes before disemboweling and devouring them. Genetic analysis shows slight deviation from a typical Bengal Tiger's genotype, indicating possible contamination [DATA EXPUNGED] all further breeding experiments require O5 level approval. The resulting hybrids have been designated SCP-247-1; see Experiment Log 247a-14 for more details. GAMEPLAY Playing SCP-247, the player has a base HP pool of 5000 along with a SWEP consisting of three different abilities, a bite attack[Left Mouse Button], a Grab[Right Mouse Button], and a Kitten Meow[R Key]. Utilizing these, when SCP-247 escapes containment it hunts Human Players through the facility, whilst avoiding other SCP's in a fearful manner. Upon seeing prey, SCP-247 can approach and attack using its bite to harm, or its grab to drag away its victim[essentially an invisible elastic restraint] that is treated as if SCP-247 has bit, and is dragging its prey away with its mouth. Alternatively it can use it's Kitten Meow to lure prey.[Human players close enough to hear SCP-247's Meow are required to approach and pet SCP-247 unless they roll above a 50 on a resistance roll]. These Hypnotized Human Prey are unable to attack or resist SCP-247 in any way; in fact, they are to protect 247 with their lives. Acting as meat shields for oncoming fire. If these Hypnotized Prey are still alive after one minute they break free of 247's effects, alternatively if SCP-247 retreats away from them & leaves them the hypnotization is broken immediately... SCP-247 is unable to be killed, and must be tranquilized after it reaches, or falls below 4000 Health. Thus, it must respond to health call requests. 247 being killed outright results in a fail RP and it being revived back into the same position with maximum HP, but able to be re-tranquilized after thirty seconds. !MOTD [SOP RULES CONCEPT] . 247 can use it's Meow once every sixty seconds[one minute] in order to hypnotize prey that are in visual sight of it. Resulting in the Prey needing to roll over a 50 to resist Hypnosis. Robots, and other individuals resistant to cognitohazard anomalies are unaffected by the hypnotism. . 247's hypnotized prey are to follow 247, defending the SCP with their lives for the duration of their hypnotization. Acting as Meat shields to protect 247. Furthermore, if 247 looks like it wants to pass through a door, the hypnotized individual is allowed to attempt to open the door if they have the proper access card to it. . 247 can kill it's hypnotized prey if it wishes. 247 Attacking Hypnotized Prey doesn't cancel out their Hypnotized state! . After breaking free of 247's Hypnotization, a player is immune to further Meows from 247 until they die and re-encounter 247. . 247 can only grab one target at a time to drag them around, if Prey breaks free of this grab via struggling they are unable to be grabbed again until 247 losses track of them, and re-locates them. Being Grabbed doesn't break Hypnotization, and Hypnotized Prey are unable to struggle for freedom until their hypnotized state runs out. . 247 can be tranquilized after falling to, or below 4000HP and must advert its HP when requested in a manner such as: /advert SCP-247 Health: #### . 247 can retreat from combat to a safe place before adverting its HP . 247 is unable to use vents despite its small appearance, as in reality it is a Bengal tiger. . 247 is unable to enter D-Block, Armories, or Spawn rooms. . 247 being killed outright results in a failRP and it being revived back into the same position with maximum HP if the player requests such, but able to be re-tranquilized after thirty seconds as per standard rules. . 247 's hypnotized prey are unable to harm SCP-247 directly or indirectly, doing such will result in FailRP. SELF BREACHING & CONTAINMENT . 247's containment cell resembles a decently sized Zoo-like enclosure, complete with an overlook control center that looks down into the Containment Cell, along with a Main CC door, and a secondary CC door behind that. The main Containment Door controls being in the overlook control Center, and the secondary Door being operated by a Keycard Slot just beside the secondary door on both sides. . 247 Must be feed 1 D-Class every 20 minutes or else it will breach it's main door. D-Class will be fed to 247 by being thrown into 247's enclosure via an unclimbable slope from the Control Center that leads down into the enclosure. . 247 will advert a total of 5 times in the process of breaching, first at the 0:00 minute mark, the 5:00 minute mark, and the 10:00 minute mark, then the 15:00 minute mark, and lastly the 20:00 minute mark at which it contacts a moderator/ admin and has its Main Door broken. 247 should advert as such: /advert SCP-247 Needs To Be Fed One D-Class! [1/5] . 247 Will advert three times to breach its Secondary Containment Door. first at the 0:00 minute mark, the 2:00 minute mark, then the 4:00 minute mark. After the four minute mark 247 can contact an admin/ moderator to break the door and open it. . 247 can be tranquilized after falling to, or below 4000HP at which point it should be restrained and transferred back to its cell. If the Cell is damaged it needs to be fixed prior to re-containment. OVERVIEW & CONCLUSION SCP-247 would be a very unassuming SCP to encounter; despite this, it would be lethal to singular individuals while also being able to fend off larger groups due to its cognitohazardous effects. I imagine this would be one of the more difficult SCP's to integrate given how its victims need to make rolls to counter its hypnotism, but I don't think it's all that complicated overall. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Whew, 247 was a bit more difficult to piece together in my mind. But sounds interesting to me. What do you think? Any changes recommended to the concept? Would you like to see this SCP, or not?
  3. @Right Twix Bar Okay, I'll add that to the concept then! As for the third problem of targeting, I unfortunately have no solution to that as unfortunately Bias is a thing. I suppose an increase to the amount of different victims 303 needs to encounter before returning to past ones would work; however, that would be hard to keep track of I think.
  4. @Right Twix Bar Do you think perhaps making it so multiple people can instantly open his door and make him re-locate be more reasonable?
  5. Been thinking lately about SCP's that would be cool to see in my opinion, and figured I'd give posting one a go. So here he is SCP-303, also known as "the Doorman": DESCRIPTION Witnesses describe SCP-303 as a nude, sexless, emaciated humanoid figure with reddish-brown skin. Instead of normal facial features, its head is dominated by an extremely large mouth, which bears a set of oversized human teeth. It continually vocalizes a wheezing noise, loud enough to be heard from the other side of most solid doors. All individuals who have had encounters with SCP-303 are capable of describing it in full, including individuals who have not physically seen any part of it. SCP-303 will periodically materialize behind any closed door, hatch, or other entryway barrier opposite a sentient observer, chosen by unknown means. SCP-303 will then remain behind the door for an indeterminate amount of time. Any individual attempting to open the door or barrier experiences intense, paralyzing fear that lasts until SCP-303 dematerializes (either on its own or to avoid being directly seen by another observer). The source of this fear is not clear, but appears to be similar in nature to arachnophobia and ophidiophobia, originating on a pre-conscious, genetic level. [DATA EXPUNGED] analysis indicates that SCP-303 is not, in fact, purposefully inducing fear in the affected individuals. SCP-303 does not allow itself to come into direct visual contact with any observer, and has never allowed any one individual to view more than 10% of its form. When the door or other entryway barrier is partially or completely transparent, SCP-303 will materialize in an orientation that leaves 10% or less of its body visible, or cause effects of fog or frost on the transparent surface to achieve the same effect. If SCP-303 is approached from a direction in which there is not a solid object or door breaking line of sight, it will dematerialize before direct visual contact is made. Any electronic or complex mechanical devices that SCP-303 encounters are temporarily disabled. SCP-303 has made no recorded attempt to physically or verbally engage any observer. GAMEPLAY Playing SCP-303, the player will have a large pool of HP and make use of a SWEP that has three abilities, those being: Toggle Invisibility[Left Mouse Button], Toggle Clipping[Right Mouse Button] & Make Wheezing Sounds[R Key]. Utilizing these abilities SCP-303 Players will roam the facility, materializing behind doors and Wheezing behind them. Other players that are playing Human Characters that hear this Wheezing from the other side of the door will be unable to open the door 303 is occupying until 303 leaves, or until there are 4 or more players trying to get through the door.[A failure to abide by this and knowingly opening a door on 303 would result in a minor FailRP. Nothing to serious as 303 can simply re-position with no harm done. SCP's Can open 303's door, resulting in 303 needing to dematerialize & vacate the area.] The Player of SCP-303, must make it their goal to never be seen by anyone[Be heard, not seen]. Meaning, it must traverse the map with its invisibility active until it occupies a door, at which moment it can become visible, or "Materialize" until it leaves, or is seen by someone. When seen, 303 must go invisible, or "Dematerialize" and vacate the area.[Players that are OOC, such as Trainees & Trainers who are in the process of doing their Training can be ignored by 303] !MOTD [SOP RULES CONCEPT] . 303 Can freely roam the Interior of the Foundation Site, utilizing a movement system similar to that of SCP-343. . 303 Must remain invisible at all times unless occupying a door, at which point it can "Materialize" until it leaves said door. . 303 Can only Occupy a door for sixty seconds[one minute] at a time after they start wheezing, before needing to leave said door. . 303 Can only Claim one door at a time, and must stand Directly Behind said door. . 303 must "dematerialize" and go invisible if approached from behind, or seen by a Non-OOC player. . 303 Cannot materialize behind the same door multiple times in a row and must move to different doors throughout the Site. Being required to materialize at a different door for an entire 60 seconds before returning to its previous door. . 303 is required to be invisible while travelling or moving through the facility, failure to do so is a FailRP. . 303's doors can be opened by other SCP's as they are are immune to 303's effects. If an SCP opens his door, 303 needs to dematerialize and relocate. .303's door can be opened instantly by Human players if there are four or more of them trying to get through the door he's occupying. In which instance they all need to be standing by the door before opening it. Once opened, 303 will need to immediately dematerialize and relocate! . 303's door cannot be opened by Robots as his anomalous effects disable both electronics and complex mechanical devices. . 303's presence results in electronics not working, thus thermals do not work when a player is close enough to hear 303's wheezing. Given that, Thermals also do not work on 303. . 303 cannot materialize at Spawn Room Doors, or the D-Block Door. If he does, he can be ignored & the door can be opened. . 303 can materialize at armory doors once every ten minutes. . 303 can occupy Containment Cell doors, so long as a the contained SCP cannot see him. . 303 cannot follow & continually harass a specific individual or group time after time, and is required to seek out different victims. Just like going to different doors, 303 must target one other victim for at least 60 seconds before returning to a previous one. . 303 can close doors in order to occupy them. SELF BREACHING & CONTAINMENT . 303 cannot be contained, and has no Containment Cell. It is a free roaming Euclid Class SCP. OVERVIEW & CONCLUSION SCP-303 is a non-threating SCP that a player will use to disrupt pathways and delay routes that are normally taken. Being a hindrance on quickly traversing the facility. Potentially delaying scientists and D-Class and thus giving other SCP's the few minutes of time they need to breach, Delaying Chaos Raids, or even the MTF's response to said raids. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ That's it, what do you all think? Do you think 303 would make a good addition or not? Or are there any tweaks you'd make or anything of the like?
