  1. APPLICATION DENIED Reapply in 2 weeks. If you have any questions as to the reasoning behind the decision, direct them to Medical Command.
  2. Praises The idea of the ships ramming each other and the resulting impacts shaking the screen to affect peoples combat position and aim were noteworthy and welcome additions The Event was well paced and not overly drawn out The switching up of some regiments' status quo for on-ship events was a positive The premise of the event and objectives was creative Criticisms Medical should always be able to split up to cover multiple sectors on-ship, as the regiment is more suited to that strategy in on-ship defense. This ensures no critical sector is devoid of healing. A decently unique event with an epic idea like chasing capital ships through hyperspace could've used some music. The offmap portion of the Defcon 1 felt a little bland; something like a pursuing rebel fighter craft providing CAS that needed to be cleared before transports could safely land could've spiced it up a bit. 4/5, I certainly had some fun with that one
  3. Lydus has always been a super active and reliable man at the head of the ST Corps. I know he'd be fantastic at the position! "Libera tempestas ad rebelles ordines!" - MC Vice Commander Hex
  4. +Big Support + I've never seen anybody as active + Insane tryout numbers for regiment and Rescue alike + Just an all around lovable guy + Professionalism and leadership in spades Bub has always been a great friend and a bit of an inspiration for myself as well. I know he'd be an amazing Vice Commander and he's worked super hard for the position! Bub is a kind soul and a big reason for the increase in members for the regiment. As many many people's first impression of the regiment, he does a great job at being an initial hook for their interest! Good luck buddy! 5. 1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : MC DPD COL Hex 0084 2. What Regiment are you applying for? 69th Medical Corps 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? One of the biggest things I've faced in all of my childhood that has carried over to adulthood has been a severe issue with self-confidence and self-worth. For the longest time there have been many people, including myself, that have told me that I couldn't ever amount to much. During my time on this server, I've found out about my talents in something I never thought I could be good at: Leadership. I want to follow that talent to whatever extent it may lead, and the next step it has led me to seek is the rank of Vice Commander in Medical. Make no mistake though, this is not merely a journey for myself. I want this personal journey to serve as an inspiration to those who may lack confidence in themselves as I did, and those who think that their dispositions and inherent conditions from birth will hold them back from great heights. Beyond even that, I want to give back to a Corps that has meant so much to me and changed my life in ways both stated and unstated above. I also want to give back to those who told me that I could get far and be a leader before even I believed in myself. The payoff of the promise they've seen in me is personally very important to me. For all of my Commanders who believed in me, The High Command, the Officers, NCOs, and Enlisted that I've witnessed the rise of, the people who have, over the past Month and a half, become my best friends that I never got to have as a kid: This application and my passion for the position in front of me is for you. In terms of in-game issues that I'd like to work on, I want to help grow the Research sub-regiment and make it more appealing to newcomers, as It feels like its being smothered by the appeals of and applications to Rescue. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? I have been a part of Medical since 11/6/21, and Have spent as much of my free time as I could on the server, amounting to four weeks in game 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? The Main purpose of a Vice Commander is to serve as a stalwart face of the branch that they represent. Over my time in the server, I always tend to see the highest rank in a battalion online at any given time be a Vice Commander. The image and reputation of the Command Team in any regiment is a big factor in how that regiment grows, interacts with other regiments, and to its long-term sustainment of members. There are many other duties behind the scenes that a Vice Commander must fulfill, such as editing and creation of documents whenever the need arises to improve the quality of the regiment or solve an issue. Vice Commanders are primarily responsible for keeping the Roster up to date to keep promotions moving smoothly and keeping track of activity, LOA, and ROA. Vice Commanders take a much bigger role on the Discord Vice Commanders also must be very sociable and build relations with High Command, as they now stand in the grounds of mediation between Enlisted to Officer and High Command's directives. Vice Commanders are held to the spotlight very often to put forth an example of both leadership and maturity, as there is no longer a vast collective to stay in the shadows of. The Command team is further tasked with keeping the members of it's battalion active with sims and other fun activities, with a quota of at least 10 per month. In terms of all of the above, I am ready to take on these responsibilities. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : During my tenure as an Officer I have developed so much as a person in terms of my ability to lead people, and in coming out of my shell. These developments have given me an immovable passion towards the Medical Corps that I can say is responsible for it. It has become my goal to give everyone that joins Medical that same magical experience. I have always kept and paid attention to the lowest TRN's desires by keeping Medical busy with sims, and generally trying to keep things active in the Medbay during slower times. I have no doubt that within these endeavors that I can complete the 10 sim quota and even surpass it. I have always strived to keep Medbay orderly and fulfill my quotas while also allowing for as much fun as our SOP allows. My number one goal as a leader in Medical is to make it fun for those of all ranks. I've Always been inspired by a quote from Reggie Fils-Aime: "If it's not fun, why bother?". If Medbay is not fun, people won't stay. I believe in that regard, someone who can do their jobs while also being a lively, engaging, fun presence in Medbay is the best candidate for the job. I also believe I have a talent for promoting good relations with other regiments and within my own through both my seeking of friendships with individuals and my RP style as a whole. I make sure everyone's entrance to Medbay is greeted with "Greetings [Rank or Name]! What may I do for you?". My style of conversation, leadership, and demeanor will also change depending on the regiment present in Medbay so that even they have more fun in Medbay. For example: DT walking in makes me immediately get the Medbay into a proper, disciplined state. STs get a more casual side of Medbay service to facilitate their regiment. I believe these actions make me a good face for Medical Corps to people outside the regiment as well as those within. 7. How often can you be Online? : With the exception of Holiday ROA to spend time with family, I have been present for at least 4 hours every day, and regardless of circumstance, have always been willing to take that extra hour to get new trainees past the Trainee rank. 8. Do you have any Warnings? (What for?) : I have never been warned by any admins
  6. Good luck man! [You'll need it when Director Fred gets back ;)]
  7. I'm gonna miss you dude, you were chill to talk to whenever I had a chance to
  8. + Super Support! + Active every day + Super friendly and easy to get along with + Responsible and mature + Always a fun person to share a shift with + Improves the reputation of Shock +Willing to and effective at helping Enlisted and new trainees Kat was one of the first people I met on the server on the first day, and I'll never forget the set of circumstances that led to our friendship. On that first day I had my sights set out to join Shock during my first 5-10 minutes of playtime. Unfortunately, my tryout was interrupted by a YT minge raid and in the chaos I was arrested mid tryout. During the time I was sitting in a cell I was considering just leaving, but the then SGT Kat gave me a private 1 on 1 tryout to help me get comfortable with my first time on SWRP, or any RP server for that manner. If it hadn't been for Kat's quick initiative and ability to connect with people and help them with issues, I would not still be eagerly logging on to the server every day. I and a good few others have Kat to thank for that. Kat being on the server is a great indication that Shock (and everyone else for that matter) are bound to have a good time, and he is sorely missed when he logs off. I really hope you get this position, my friend. Shock could use a VC with a positive server-wide reputation! "Concussa seditionis ad ipsum nucleum!" - MC DPD LTCOL Hex 0084
  9. +Big Support! + On pretty much every day + Good at making connections and friends + So many tryouts, regiment will never die with him around + Cares a ton about his regiment and it's quality + Easy to talk to about issues and concerns + Super professional and manages time well RO0 has been a long time friend ever since their early NCO days within DT. Seeing their occasional visits in Medbay would always put a smile on my face and it definitely is effective in improving regimental relations. I can also say that such visits during their free time does generate interest in joining DT to those who interact with him. I feel like his more sociable approach to other regiments will be a big plus to the DT regiment as a whole. RO0 is incredibly committed to his job and keeping his regiments numbers up. The amount of tryouts he does is insane (Good luck trying to claim the sim room when he's around!) and I have certainly seen an increase of activity under his tenure as NCO. RO0 will make an excellent Officer, there is no doubt in my mind. "Nulla medicina potest te ab equite mortis liberare!" - MC DPD LTCOL Hex 0084
  10. +Super Massive Support! + Insanely active. Seriously I see them every day + Super fun and pleasant to be around + Openly committed to their job + Exceptionally responsible and mature + Follows the protocol to the letter, even in private when no one's looking + Very approachable and easy to confide in + Fantastic, professional, detailed application WS7 has become a really good friend of mine and is one of the prime reasons I've grown to love DT. From the first time I met WS7 as a CPL I could tell they had what it took to be a great DT. WS7 is one of the most committed DeathTroopers, more so than most other officers in any other regiment. I swear I see them advert a tryout or do a sim every 30 minutes. I can also personally attest to them not letting anything stand between them and strict adherence to DT regulations, as they PK'd me despite us being buddies and no witnesses that would see them not doing so. WS7 has been encouraging people to join DT in ways other than adverting tryouts too, actively urging me OOC in PMs to join and that they'll be a guide to help me transition between two very polar regiments. WS7 Is a very big reason for me having an interest in potentially joining DT as my second life. Honestly, this application is amazing by Commander standards and I wouldn't be surprised if they end up becoming one with how they've performed thus far! 11. +Big Support! + Online practically every day + Super professional and mature + Experienced on the server and as a Commander + Talented with Leadership and very responsible + Respectable and easy to get along with + Great at problem solving + Easy to contact for issues big and small + Has a great deal of patience + Dilligent in carrying out responsibilities From my first few days in Medical I came to know Zug as an amazing leader and moreover as a friend. The work he's put in to make Medical the super fun yet efficient regiment it is has been nothing short of exceptional. I will always appreciate how Zug has always done his best to provide me with opportunities to grow as a leader myself and improve my self confidence. Zug's Bi-Weekly Officer Meetings show that he has a fantastic understanding of those around him, and knows how to best utilize their strengths to confront issues and can identify and improve their weaknesses. There's no doubt in my mind that he'll make a fantastic Marshal Commander! "Medentes sustendo postestas de nostra Imperium!" - MC IRS CPT Hex 0084
  12. 1. Whats your in-game name and rank: MC SS MSG Hex 0084 2: Whats your timezone?: EST 3: Whats your SteamID?: STEAM_0:1:106343429 4: Why do you want to be a medical officer?: I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the Medical Corps and want to become a bigger part of it. My friends and I were all excited to become officers and bring a whole new level of comradery to both us and those around us when we started playing the server together. I also feel that Medical suits my personality traits of doing everything I can for those in need. I feel being an officer can improve my personal life by helping me be more confident in myself. 5: Whats your activity like on a scale from 1 to 10: (1 being terrible activity and 10 being on daily for a while): 10 due to being between jobs. Will likely be 8-9 after I get back to work. I still believe I can be on just about every single day, especially with the draw of playing with all the friends I've come to gain in the corps. 6: Why should you be a medical officer?: I feel I'm one of the most active and passionate people in the regiment, and that I'm an easy and fun person for the newer members to be around while still being able to retain a degree of professionalism. I believe people who have fun in a regiment stay in a regiment, and I believe in my ability to sell the appeals of the regiment during tryouts and sims. I am also very active in the discord and am always ready to help people with questions or concerns they may have. 7: How well do you command other troopers?: I feel I've really grown as a more effective and confident leader thanks to my time in this regiment as an NCO. I believe there is even more room for improvement in my leadership capabilities, and being officer will allow for further advances in my abilities. I know the strengths and vulnerabilities of the classes and I believe I can both effectively strategize and keep order in the ranks under me in both times of combat and passivity. 8: Why should we accept your application over other applications?: I feel like my activity and heart make me a good candidate for officer, as well as the out of server connections between me and some of the other current officers make us an active, dedicated, and effective core of leadership. I believe no matter what the gap in rank, I can make the greenest Private feel a strong bond through my guidance and even easily develop friendships with those around me. I've been told by a few enlisted that I'm one of the most approachable NCO's in the corps and it brings me a lot of pride in myself and confidence in my ability to keep up retention rate in our recruits.
