  3. Accepted Stormtrooper Command believes that you are fit for this position and has accepted your application! Speak with a Vice Commander+ whenever you're ready. ~ Stormtrooper Commander Grim
  4. +Support Fixing the Z-6I, Z-6, and Z-2 weapons will allow for Heavy Weapons specialties to be viable on the server as, well, Heavy Weapons, instead of "LMG guy". This will allow for more diversity in player loadouts as well.
  5. +Support Bear and I have worked tirelessly for months on both these changes as well as other miscellaneous tweaks to Stormtroopers as a whole. All of our work on Shoretroopers has lead up to this post. Not only does it give Shoretroopers a definitive role on the server, that being defensive frontline as a dual DPS/Tank as opposed to "just a better Stormtrooper" that they were before, but it also completely rebalances their loadouts in a way that makes sense and will help them fill out their newly-assigned role. Everything you see has been thought over more times than I can count, both by myself and by Bear.
  6. DENIED Unfortunately, Stormtrooper Command does not think that you are ready for the position of Officer, and your application has been denied. You may re-apply as early as November 29th. If you wish to re-apply, please consider the following: 1. How am I representing myself in-game? 2. Does my application reflect the actions of an Officer? 3. Have I answered every question effectively? ~ Stormtrooper Commander Grim

  9. As the current Stormtrooper Commander, I can say that he had previously initiated combat on at least 3 or 4 different players during this debriefing, before the aforementioned incident with the thermal detonator (he was IG88 at the time). To provide greater context, there were anywhere between 20 to 30 Stormtroopers all cramped into the Stormtrooper Bunks, constantly killing each other, spamming the voice chat, and screaming slurs. Most, if not all, of the combat initiated by him was in an effort to help quell the chaos, either by defending another player from being killed, myself included, or by "tagging" an unruly trooper to mark them for Shock Security to arrest, since it was almost impossible to read any names in this scenario. As for the thermal detonator, I was a witness, and dub his story as accurate. While I do not condone his actions, nor do I believe that he should go unpunished, I do believe that he had good intentions, and should have a less severe punishment as a result.
  10. Well guess its your time to go. Its been a fun ride fella and I enjoyed playing with you. I'll still be in ts to hang out with you from time to time but this is it for you on the server. Dead-Am I illegally parking that dumpy in your brig? (ull kick my ass in osu one day)

If you wish to re-apply, please consider the following: 1. How am I representing myself in-game? 2. Am I providing meaningful examples? Do my examples have sufficient context? 3. 13. Rename the ISD to: ISD-Luminescence Name the ILC: ILC-Lightbearer Keeps with the "light" theme that the network is based around. You know, Gaminglight.
  14. +Support/-Support +Previously a command member +Currently the only Starfighter than can fill the position +Knows what's expected of him -Has had activity problems in the past -A bit too much trolling sometimes -Has negative interactions with others more often than what would be considered acceptable -Application seems more like a sob story to gain sympathy rather than a legitimate application for a position of power

  18. 1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : ST SCTL LTCOL Grim 8940 2. What Regiment are you applying for? Stormtrooper (ST) 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? I wish to become a (vice) commander in order to help out players both new and old. I understand that Army High Command wants new Stormtroopers to join other battalions/regiments, and I will do my best to guide new players into whatever role they would like to fill and prioritize that over trying to fill up the ST roster. In addition, I wish to become a (vice) commander so that I may play a bigger role in command and have an influence, however minor it may be, on how the battalion(s)/regiment(s) will operate. Furthermore, this promotion will allow me to be even more involved with roleplay scenarios on the server, both inside of and outside of events, more than I am as an officer. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? Approximately 520 hours (roughly 3 weeks). First seen June 11th, 2021. 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? A commander, vice or otherwise, is the head of their branch and is expected to keep track of and manage their troops at all times, both on the server and off the server. A commander is also expected to frequently host activities that are designed to keep their subordinates entertained and happy. Moreover, a commander is tasked with being the bridge between High Command and low-ranking troopers, presenting valid ideas and concerns when necessary. Finally, a commander should always be on their best behavior, as they are a role model for their soldiers. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : Many players on the server have requested for me to apply for this position, citing that I am "fun to be around" and "a good fit for the job". Ignoring the public/popular opinion, I have never been given a strike or warning for a serious offense, and I intend to keep it that way for as long as possible. As a (vice) commander, I understand that my duty is to help recruits become accommodated with the server and the way that it functions and give them an atmosphere where they feel as though they are welcome. I also understand that it is my duty to manage the battalion/regiment and its respective sub-branches and ensure that they are being maintained by those that are worthy of filling the role. Though there are candidates with more experience than me, I am willing to adapt as needed, and I am a fast learner. I have had conversations with various command members in the past and am aware of the responsibilities that this position requires. I will gladly accept any criticism and adjust accordingly based upon player feedback. 7. How often can you be Online? : Most days (at least 3-4 per week). 8. Do you have any Warnings? (What for?) : No.
  19. 1. What's your in-game name: ST SCTI SFC Grim 8940 2. What's your SteamID?: STEAM_0:0:204406545 3. Did you read the ST Sop?: Yes 4. How long have you been on the server: Total time: 6 days Joined: June 10/11, 2021 5. How many warns do you have?: None 6. Why do you want to be a 2LT: (Minimum 1 Paragraph) Everyone on the server seems to really enjoy having me around, and I'd like to interact with more people, so I figure the best way to do that is to rise through the ranks so that I can be more involved. In addition to this, I am actively trying to recruit the new Stormtroopers into the sub-battalions so that they have a reason to stay within the Stormtrooper Corps. I feel as though new players have a mentality akin to "I'm just a simple trooper, I need to join a battalion in order to get better", which is untrue. I, along with my superiors, are aware that Stormtroopers are currently in desperate need of additional players. As an officer, I feel as though I can create the change that I want to see. 7. What Timezone are you?: CST/CDT 8. How well do you command this Regiment?: (Minimum 1 Paragraph) In order to be more welcoming towards newer players, I prefer to take a more informal approach to being in a position of authority. This has resulted in friendlier relations with subordinates and lower levels of stress for both parties. During my time as an NCO (and even long before), I have successfully led my fellow troopers during both peacetime and combat with minimal issues. 9. What makes you stand out from other applicants?: (Minimum 2 Paragraph) When being compared to other applicants, I've been told that I have a great understanding of when to be serious and when not to. I also have lots of patience and am willing to be a guide for those that need it. According to my superiors, I also have a good understanding of what's happening around me and am able to piece together events as they happen and respond accordingly. When asking other players, I've been told that my strongest qualities are my activity and my determination. Above all else, I want to see the Stormtrooper Corps grow and expand so that more content can be added for the main battalion as well as the sub-battalions. I am a quick learner and willing to put in the required work for the betterment of everyone.
