Hey guys, im not gonna do one of these sappy resignations however A resignation is necessary. Recently I haven't been having fun with anything in life really. This closely relates to IRL issues. I don't think I can continue to fufill the obligations of Medical command and being an Admin in SCP-RP gaminglight server. Okay, lets break this down 1. Just because its not in the MOTD doesn't mean its not against the rules. Called a gray area. There are good gray areas and bad gray areas and this is a bad. Its to staff discretion. 2. The d class was not stuck whatsoever. Hes not even in the wall. He was told to stop as it was annoying and messing up securitys job. This would be considered fail rp/NITRP They were doing it in a malicious manner.Once again he was repeatedly told to stop. However he didn't. Also destroying an anchor would not unstuck the d class. and you said in rp d class are helping eachother escape, in RP you also don't have a phys gun that can destroy things. Jess, while you are a great person and have great energy, I think this is too big of a step right now. You got moderator less than 2 days ago from making the application so I think some time is due. I know you aknoloweged that and I respect the attempt. Senior Moderator on SCP-RP (SM when I made this app, this meeting I was promoted to Admin) How often are you online on the forums? I'm on the forums daily. On an average day I check the forums about 5 times per day while at school. Im always on the forums when playing on the server though. Why do you believe you're qualified to serve as a Forum Diplomat? I believe that I am qualified to be a forums diplomat for the following reasons. First, I think I have shown a lot of loyalty to the staff team and have dedicated myself to it. Next, disregarding my voice, I would think myself as mature. I'm a member of the support divison and have been trusted with that role and have done it very well. I'm not one of those mods that do it for the rank, I do it with passion and don't half ass it, whether in game or on support. To finish with, I think I am more than qualified for this role for the reasons that were stated before and would be a top choice for the team. Would you consider yourself to have good judgement? If so, please describe a situation that required you to make a difficult decision? Yes, I think I have great judgement. I've dealt with a lot of failrp, RDM, metagame, and all those types of sits and I believe I have handled them well. I am not too leniant rather than too harsh. Granted it is in different context, however the same principle is applied here. I keep all my feelings out of my staffing duties and always facts over feelings. I never doubt myself over a decision, when I make a decision it is what I think is best and there has been very very little times where I think I could have handeled it differently. We are humans afterall. To wrap up, I have great judgement and would loved to be challenged with more situations that judgement is needed. How would you deal with a situation where a user is spamming in various topics due to getting banned from one of our servers? To begin with, I would hide all their posts temporarily to prevent them from continuing to spam. I would claim a post as under review and review the posts to see if it is against forum rules or not. If not, I would unhide it and continue with my dutys. If they are breaking rules, I would hide all their posts that are breaking rules and try to talk to them privately. Depending on how that goes, will be decided whether I will be issuing a forums strike or another sort of diciplinary action. How would you deal with a situation where two users are aggressively arguing with each other in a warning appeal? As stated in my above response, I would flag the topic as under review and lock it until I am done with my investigation. I will review the posts and hide them if deemed necesarry (in this case it would result in all aggressive posts being hidden), I would then attempt to discuss with them politely and try to get them to talk it out in DMs. However, depending on the situation I would issue a strike or other diciplinary actions. I would unlock the post and unflag it once the issue has been resolved.
