    Add A1 to surface Points/As well to surface war.


     

    How can this addition be postive

    As the second branch that spawns on the surface we can  help E11 with points and the war and it gives more fighting to both sides.

    As well as artificers being able to repair helps when there is no maintenance or utility on fixing the lights.

    Content Idea



    1.  An alert system for us when something REDACTED is said in text, Example /w Red Right Hand or Coldsilver. After we are alerted, a marker is placed on the info breacher for us to hunt down.

    2. A VIP system similar to the MTF mission boards, but for asking VIP’s to be protected. A laptop could be placed in our bunks, highlighting HCMD+. With the option to select who we would want to protect. After selection a prompt could pop on their screen to accept. After that is all done, a tracker would be placed on the VIP until death.

    Would allow us to track info breachers much easier

    How long have you been a part of the Gaminglight community? Since June 8th, 2021

    How long have you been a staff member on Gaminglight?  Almost a full year Currently 258 days

    How often are you online on the forums? I am currently on the forums daily.

    Why do you believe you're qualified to serve as a Forum Diplomat? So, I believe I qualify to become a forum diplomat as I have been a part of the community for a while. As well as I have been active on the forums and believe I would be able to assist the community as a whole while being able to help the community on the forums. 

    Would you consider yourself to have good judgement? If so, please describe a situation that required you to make a difficult decision?  Yes, I would consider myself to have good judgement.  I have been able to deal with multiple dual sided situations where I need to take both sides stories into account before I make a decision.  Describing a specific situation would be hard as judgement all depends on the the users and the situation that would arise.  As no situation you can really describe as its all on the rules and the situation that has came about.

    How would you deal with a situation where a user is spamming in various topics due to getting banned from one of our servers?  So firstly, I would issue a warning between all parties stating to stop all arguments or spamming ad report it higher within to diplomat team to help maintain said topic as to keep the topic clear.  If offender would keep on spamming after verbal warning, then I would have to take further action within the community as to keep the topic clean.  I would then ask higher to issue a formal warning to said offender and hide the topic depending on said subject.  The main problem would be as a starter Diplomat is making sure to loop in the senior forum diplomats to issue any formals that might pertain to the situation.  

    How would you deal with a situation where two users are aggressively arguing with each other in a warning appeal?  I would issue a verbal warning to stop all arguing within said subject to keep it clean and useful.  As well remind them of the forum rules so that things to do not get out of hand.  If said issue would get out of hand I would document everything and report it to senior diplomat to issue a formal forums warning/restriction on said user.  The main goal is to resolve the situation peaceful reminding them that arguing or being combative is against the forum rules and to keep the discussion civil and or only do the +/- support that is needed on said discussion

    Why do you want to be a command member? 

    I want to become a command member as the difference aspect in rp that will become with O-1.  I want to be able to help the branch grow and flourish within the community.  Being a command member within O-1 would not start at easy as its brand new.  I want to be able to help build the branch foundation to get it on a respective track so that the branch will be executed perfectly when it comes down to investigation unethical practices held by some or even higher.  Unlike GOIs this brings a whole new opportunity of a multitude of new experiences to the server.

     

    What skills and qualities makes you best fit to be Omega-1 Command?

    So, skills and qualities that make me best fit for Omega-1 Command would start out with leadership.  I have led multiple branches on different servers and even our own PRP server.  Next would then follow up with communication as this is important to help with branch relationships as well as talking to other members of command about stuff and even the enlisted when it comes to updates or possible changes.  Thirdly would be time management as this is also important especially when it comes to a newer branch to be able to execute and complete stuff within a time period so that it can be pushed out sooner.  Then moving on to qualities:

      Commitment - I am a very active person on the server and I will have the time to accomplish the tasks I need to complete as well as have the dedication to get a solid product done and finished.

    Roleplay- In my past positions on different servers i have had to do a variety of rp such s med rp, engineer rp, maintenance rp,  Bomb disposal RP and more on.  So when it comes down to roleplaying i have the knowledge and capacities to do so and do it well.

    Why do you believe that you are the best fit to be an Officer? So, I believe I am best suited to become an officer as I am extremely active on the server.  As well as my experience leading other branches on different servers I have the necessary qualifications to become an officer.  I also have experience in Combat as well as RP scenarios as my past it was both rp and combat that we participated in.  I have a bunch of good qualities that I can pass on lower to keep the branch running through the time coming.  I also am able to take criticism well and get along with mostly everyone alright

    What skills and qualities do you possess that show you are competent enough to be an Officer?  Some skills and qualities that I possess are good leadership qualities and managements skills.  I am also good at communication and time management so I can get jobs done in a timely manner.  I am an easy-going person and am willing to help everyone with any issues that they may have.  I am a good mentor and teacher and can help the lower enlisted become better. 

    How will you maintain branch relationships and upkeep communication with other branches?  Firstly, maintaining good branch relationships is a two-way street.  it relies heavily on communication between both sides, and I can help keep that communication up.  Secondly it relies on the enlisted of the branch so that they are maintaining themselves in a professional matter and not being toxic to the branches that would harm the relationship.  So, maintain good relationships amongst everyone will be continuing the communication.  Thats when discussions between higher command and other branches would come in to fix any problems that have arisen between the branches.  Also participating in branch pts with others can help maintain a good relationship and build cohesion between everyone.

    Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum) So I believe I deserve to be T-mod for a multitude of reasons.  I have prior staff experience as well as I was high up in the staff COC as I helped train new staff on a different community.  I know how to deal with sits and properly get the help if it exceeds the capabilities of my rank.  I am good at communicating with others so talking to both sides should be no issue with me.  I have good leadership skills so I can help newer players learn the server with ease and become good individuals within the community.  I am also a very friendly person and easy to work with as I get along with others very well.  I am easy going and will accept criticism very well as it helps me improve better as a individual and a staff member.  I also believe that I deserve to become staff as I have been a part of GL community for some time starting on PRP CWRP and now SCPRP and wanting to better the community.

    Scenario questions:

    Q1: How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? So, the best way to go through this situation is to firstly after voice communication does not work and they keep on just mute and try to type to attempt to get his side of the story.  Hopefully the reportee has evidence against said person as people tend to get mad when they are accused of stuff, they think they didn't commit.  If he has clear evidence then the decision process happens whether a verbal or formal is placed.  I typically respond depending on how the person being accused is acting and if he keeps cursing and heres solid evidence a formal warn will be placed as said person does not care about punishments.

    Q2: You are involved in a staff sit that involves 5 different players. The players begin to get frustrated and the sit becomes very toxic and unproductive. What would you do in this situation?  So depending on how or why the staff sit was called depicts the scenario.  5 different players typically means the reportee and 4 other offenders and usually its a mass rdm scenario.  So i would try to talk to the reportee individually as he is reporting these people for something and get his side of the story and see what is going on.  Then i would try talking to the main reportee and get his side of the story.  It also relies on heavy evidence as logs can show something different than whats being said or reported
