Seriously, something needs to be done about self breaching. As it stands, it is the most boring thing on earth, with it only being worth doing when you are actively multitasking and sitting on your ass for half an hour isnt an issue. Dynamic systems in place for each scp or something like that would be awesome.

As for new item scps? I am gonna have to look, but I know there are metric fucktons of interactable scps on the workshop. All someone would have to do it poke through them a bit.

I'm not volunteering, gmod and my pc will make like epstein on opposite day and fuckin' kill themselves

  2. So my hailstorm disappeared from my inventory

I have died respawned changed jobs done everything i can think of, it aint popping up on anything. Its gone :c

Do I know if it comes back if I rejoin? no. Seeing in how it took me roughly 3 hours to manage to join, you got me fucked up if you think imma check any sooner than I have to tho

  3. I understand the bias angle here, but really? I have one, I don't really use it much. I only ever really pull mine out if someone else does. I much prefer stuff like my bat (which can 120 on a headshot, 240 if the game decides to let me turn into MLB god for a sec, sometimes even on body, I dunno how it works sometimes tbh) my fubar (180 damage headshots, 90 something body on light) like, no one complains about those. People dont like the golf club because they see it as the default for melee violence, its an often pulled out tool. Ironically, the golf club requires a shit ton of aim to use unless you straight pin someone to the wall, tracking and movement factor in as well. We have ARs doing almost 100 a headshot and thats fine apparently, because oh it gun, use brain it do shoot, golf club combat feels like shotgun combat, just get close and pray your tracking is good. I dont care how many times you have been rushed down by it, we all have. Have I also been shot by too powerful guns? Have I killed and have been killed by the most powerful items on the server to the weakest? The better fighter will come out on top, just dont let yourself be put into the situation where you can die to it, because to be honest?

If you are in the situation where some feral crackhead kills you with his golf club, you were fucked anyways.

If RP is defined as people talking in chat about how much to sell someone for, then meet up for 2 minutes and walking off as RP, then I now understand why RP is lacking compared to combat. Sure, it's 'RP'. There's not much roleplaying going on in handoffs though. Right now, it's more of a rule than a RP reason for 'negotiations' to go well. It's one of the very few times that CI and MTF don't attack each other but I'm positive there's a way to give negotiations more than just

    "8k"
    "no 10k"
    "no 9k"
    "ok"
And that's it. Maybe allow crossing only in specific scenarios -- Such as SCPs are the involved hostage, high priority targets are in the negotiation group, stuff like that. I like the idea of crossings being allowed because it'd make full sense to ambush.

Maybe even punishments for a failed ambush and rewards for a successful one. Make it a balanced option. "If we decide to ambush them, we can instead get XXXX and XXXX instead of 10k." Maybe like new guns or a keycard for next raid, or more armor. Stuff like that. Punishments could be longer cooldown for raid timer, you must advert your next raid, etc. MTF could be rewarded with a successful cross with money, XP, new weapons, etc.

I like this in general, but we all know no one would ever trade, it would just be snipers picking people off or full blown assaults to kill hostages and stuff like that. RnD would never get anything out of it. I think if it were only allowed in very specific circumstances it would be fine, but they would have to be ironed way out with costs and benefits to both sides.

  6. What are you suggesting? - Add lights unaffected by sabotaging the power into the comedy club/cafeteria in lower d block.

How would this change better the server? - Its a small change, and it will allow players who use the rooms for events or activities of their own to be able to see inside the room without flashlights or toolgun lights.

Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - Not really, I can't imagine a couple more lights down there, or an edit to the existing ones, would cause much problems.

Who would this change mostly benefit? - Event team and D Class.

Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion -

So me talking about how Savagery felt it necessary to interrupt an RP situation to ask him, or why he was following him around in the first place, or about how we are supposed to use warns not just as throwaway but as when necessary, all that, and then some, inciting? Mmkay.

If Thin is a member of MTF IC, he has to behave in a manner consistent with MTF. That means he is required to take an adversarial stance towards CI and a support stance towards the Foundation, ie. attempting to hinder their operations by calling out their raid.

He doesn't have to get himself killed in a stupid way, but he is obliged to work against CI as best he knows how.

This is not a controversial take.

I mean if he was under fearrp in that case he should be helping them. It would be failrp not to.

As there are no neutral CC's, and the Rho 36 CC's are MTF cc's and therefore follow MTF rules, he should've been engaged or ran away from them.  In the video I will link below, it will show briefly show that he was following the CI.  And as only 1 person had their gun on him at any given time, he was not considered to be under any failrp, as well as the fact as he didn't let anyone else know that there was CI which I can show via chat logs if needed as I do have screenshots of that as well.  I would also like to add that when I explained what happened in the call I was in, both Glados and soul advised me that I should warn Thin for FailRP as the Rho 36 CC's are MTF combatant CC's.

Here is the video proof of it all (as you can see, I initially thought it was teaming but I was advised by both staff in the call that it would be a FailRP warn that I should give him):

Also, you are not forced to call out anybody. It has never been mandatory, just encouraged.

I can confirm cause i was in the raid tbh we didn't care about Thin in this moment cause we know most of us know in CI that RHO cc's are minges (from experience) we didn't even attempt to fear RP him or grab him as a hostage we just looked at him and went straight for HCZ he didn't even call it out or nothing he even followed us from EZ to the gate A elevator, Not to mention we HAD NO REASON FOR A HOSTAGE, i was the only RnD member on and i don't do test i mainly watch the ranks below me.

You dont have to make a callout, plus as a CI, you should know that just because its not explicitly asked for its not discouraged to get hostages or whatever should an opportunity present itself.

    @1stSavagerYYour response please.

I'll be neutral until he can give his full side, however, I will say that it is FailRP to choose not to engage the enemy and to just hang around with them. So, if that's the case, or if Thin intentionally went up to them, then yes, it would be FailRP. Opposing forces are not allowed to hang out with the other in RP.

@LilThinMintsDo you by chance have a video of the situation? It'd make it a lot easier on SMT's end to see the situation unfold.

Start warning the whole server then. Give me some warns then. People have done this kinda shit in front of SMT before, and there was no problem. You never have to shoot. I don't know why you seem to think its FailRP to not fire upon a group of enemies and die to a hail of gunfire. Furthermore, FearRP does not have to be announced. Once its requirements are met, it is automatic.

Also, even still: Who gives a shit? This is a tedious, pointless warn, and we both know it. I hang out with opposing forces all the time. Not everybody is dry humping LMB hellbent on dragging their K/D to the stratosphere, we are still playing a game, one many of us use to socialize. If he wasn't helping CI or anything, whats the problem?

Thats...thats not even a valid reason to warn someone??? You are never forced to shoot at anybody. I have done Sarkic raids where I just dick around, bringing a stool from surface all the way to D-Block. I have been on RIS telling enemy combatants I wont bug them as long as they leave me and my escort alone. I have hung out with MTF as CI, and with CI as MTF. I have chosen not to kill or fight innumerable times, many of which where I could have easily killed the other player, without any real effort. This is quite possibly one of the most ridiculous warns I have ever seen. Like really? A FailRP warn for not being a suicidal moron and picking a fight with a bunch of people? Ridiculous.

    Doin' good!

Pros: Interesting idea and conclusion, with results that make sense lore wise. This could actually give insight into how exactly 106 finds prey.

Cons: Its well...extremely short looking. Formatted differently you could probably have taken up a page but I think you could flesh this out more.

    Overall, solid work!

You weren't around mid 2020 - late 2020, the toxicity was SOOOO bad. Especially from command since everyone tried to eat away at each other. It was actually pretty scary. Thankfully, most of those people decided to be complete imbeciles and almost all of them got blacklisted so you don't have to worry about them returning.

Again, even if this place used to be a wasteland doesn't fix the current issues going on.

No, least toxic in general. That's including GMOD, TF2, LoL, Battlefield, Halo, EvE, HL2:DM, Counter Strike, and a lot more.

If people are behaving poorly, just report them to their command. We also routinely give out warnings for toxicity.

the bar is even lower if we are including all those lmao

You will find a bit of toxicity in every game even if it was Super Mario. Toxicity can be understood in different ways by people, so really we cant do something since its a normal thing

We can at least try not to be toxic ourselves.
