  3. HOW? HOW COULD YOU DIE LIKE THAT? HOW DAGGER? Imma be real ender, you were one of the few people on this server that had that fire that I admired. You always would fight for change and you never backed down from a challenge. You continued to do your best even after others tried to bring you down, coming back to the server after so many resignations and you still went as hard as you could. You never took anything at face value, never was a yes man, was always willing to challenge a statement, something we needed now more than ever. I will always respect how you were always relatable and down to earth in many matters. You led EOI and many others to glory, and I’m glad I got to see some of that good old insurgency spark before you left. it’s truly sad to see another piece of the insurgency old blood go down. Hang in there ender, you are number one. o7
  4. Name: Catalyst Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:184128807 Rank in Event Team: ETM Date of Joining Event Team: 06/12/2023 Date since last promotion: 06/12/2023 Why should you be remaining as an Event Team Member? (ALL ET RANK | 100+ words)? I joined ET because I saw gaminglight in a state where more detail oriented RP was needed, and joining ET has been able to give me the ability to do so. I've been able to take situations in a different light, creating new RP scenarios while helping branches develop their own identity. Event Team is one of the few things on gaminglight I plan on continuing with, to create and develop my skills, and I hope I am able to stay in the team to continue progressing, and bring more of my idea's to the server, such as the expedition events I've been hosting. Any Notes, Questions, or Concerns?: N/A
  5. What are you suggesting? - Remove the restriction that command of rp branches can only transfer to other rp branches, and likewise for combat branches How would this change better the server? - Right now there are 3 RP branches and 6 combat branches. People from RP branches are at a complete disadvantage, only being able to request a transfer to 2 other branches, compared to combat command, which can transfer to 5. The qualifications to be command between an rp focused branch and a combat focused branch are nearly identical. It makes no sense to have this restriction anymore. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - No Who would this change mostly benefit? - Command Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion - N/A
  6. -support The idea behind having capture points in the first place is to give both E11 and CI a reason to use surface for their own gain. Capture points= more need for active E11 and Ci which = more activity Both E11 and CI both need a decent amount of power and making it something people actually fight over (creating an actual need for active CI and E11 outside of raids) is better than straight up buffing those branches

Steam Name: Catalyst Ingame Name: Catalyst SteamID: STEAM_0:0:184128807 Job Blacklisted From: CI Reason for the Job Blacklist: Leaving and rejoin over five times, got banned for NITRP and LTAP for 2 weeks, other behaviors that are unwanted in CI Dispute: Leading up to the blacklist, I had been upset with the state of the server, and had done a bunch of things that I regret in hindsight. I had rejoined GL knowing the blacklist was in place, hoping to earn my reputation back across the server, as well as CI. Hopefully through what I've done in the past few months I've shown my motives have changed, and I'm willing to take accountability for the mistakes I've made, as well as showing a change in maturity.

  10. A lot of people come to the server to roleplay and get material for writing, and given how unique the lore can be for the server in specific, it would be nice to have a specific section on the forums for writing GL specific SCP tales, since they are a key part of the original SCP wikidot. I'm mainly making this suggestion cause I personally have wanted a better place to write and share GL specific tales, but perhaps adding this to the SCPRP section will allow others to do the same, since the only other forms of heavy writing are within research and utility, which often aren't very good ground to make tales on.

  12. Grade: 65/100 Lore: 20/25 Honestly a really interesting test. Not only is it creative, it actually fits the foundations theme of learning new ways to contain anomalies, as well as preventing danger when a breach does occur. Format: 10/25 Standard research format. Nothing very interesting or new. If you do want more points in this category, you can alter the format if you wish, or even create your own document. Presentation: 15/25 Easy to read, but the formatting is standard and is basically already designed to be that way. Similar to the above, feel free to alter the format if you feel like you can add more spice to the log, or an entry for new information. Writing: 20/25 Good usage of standard research terms. Feels like an official entry, but on a much smaller scale. Notes: This is a pretty short entry for a foundation document; it likely could have been suitable just as an activity log. A good way to get more material for these documents is to bundle together multiple tests, much like a "Study" of a specific SCP instead of a singular test.
  13. Grade: 45/100 Lore: 20/25 The test is decently realistic, and the test logs helps explain the details of the experiment pretty well. The conclusion is properly used and gives room for future testing, which is a massive benefit in any type of document. Format: 10/25 Uses the basic enforced research format, but not a lot of creative use. If you are not creating a formal document, you can use the features the forums provide to make your logs more appealing and possibly easy to understand. Presentation: 10/25 A decent attempt was made, but the professionalism of the log could use work. A good way to do this is by looking at official SCP documents from the wiki, or looking at other works by more proficient researchers. You can understand and inherit some of their habits. Writing: 5/25 Many spelling and grammar mistakes that tend to take away the effect of the research log. Notes: A lot of these issues can be easily solved by proof-reading your documents. It may not seem like it but you tend to notice more mistakes when you actually go back and read your work in full. With more practice, and proof-reading to erase silly mistakes, you may find great success in your future research documents.

  15. Grade: 70/100 Lore: 20/25 While a bit strange, the tests do follow the standard foundation research protocol; discover an anomaly, and attempt to document/contain it. Format: 15/25 This is just the standard research format, but it's done (mostly) correctly, so not a major downside with that. You can use your own custom formats, so try removing unneeded information and adding new information that may help the reader understand more of the anomaly. Presentation: 15/25 Google docs will help you get more points in this category. They are a good tool that allows you to add much more detail to your formatting and generally increase the visual appeal of the research document. Otherwise, you can use different colorings, text sizes, and other effects to help enunciate certain parts of the document. Writing: 20/25 Nothing too extraordinary, however there is a fair amount of detail when it comes to the actual tests themselves. You can boost your efforts in this category by adding more details about situations and anomalies, for example, bringing up possible containment methods to an anomalies effect. Notes: A solid research document expected for your rank with the potential to achieve even greater heights.
  16. In-Game Name: Catalyst Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:184128807 ULX Rank (Donator Rank/Staff Rank): Platinum How long have you been playing on the server?: Since site 50 Have you read the SCP-RP Event Team Guidelines?: Yes How many warns do you have? (Screenshot): (Cannot post images for some reason, 8 warns with 0 active warns) Why do you want to join event team?: My main interest in joining ET is so that I can further my command abilities. I want to be able to work with my enlisted better, and perhaps elaborate on some of my own idea's and bring them to the server. Event team would allow me to better elaborate my attempts to RP with others, as it would give me better tools to detail and define scenarios. It would also give me more room to communicate with ET, since I do have plans to integrate more things related to medical (And possibly research) with ET. I also have noted that event team sits are uncommon and are often ignored, so I want to help be someone who can be on call for event team sits. To put it in a simpler term, I want to join ET to help my branches, but I also wish to use event team to elaborate on my own ideas and create new scenarios for players to enjoy. Why should you be trusted to be part of the Event Team?: I've been in ET before, and have a decent reputation with the rest of the server. Understandably, a lot of people would say that I can be unpredictable in terms of what I'm supposed to be doing, But I hope event team leadership can understand that I have learned plenty from my experiences on the server, and that won't be a problem with me in ET. I may try some more creative forms, but they will never be directly exploitive, or over the top (You may be aware of what I'm talking about if you've seen me ingame and the way I try to RP, or have ever read any of my research/rp logs). Are you familiar/experiences with ULX?: Yes Describe an event you could create (Be specific): An Anderson robotics artifact has been uncovered by the foundation; a strange machine that seems to take scans of individuals, both robotic and human, and "Prime" them. The machine creates identical, but improved, copies of whoever it scans. These prime versions tend to be biomechanical, and highly dangerous, but naturally dormant. It is up to the foundation and the players to determine what they wish to do with these anomalies, weather they want to utilize them, or attempt to neutralize/contain them. Are these prime entities an icon of the future, or a being in its one true form?
  17. Name: Catalyst SteamID: STEAM_0:0:184128807 Current Rank: Advanced Researcher Time in Research (Estimate): 1 Month Why do you believe you should be in Research Command? (150 word requirement): When I first rejoined the server, I saw that medical and research were struggling. I wanted to work for a position that would let me help those branches, and now I have the chance to help. I hope to be someone who can be consistent enough to be relied on. Being able to have a command member you can always go to, someone who would drop everything for the branch, is a good set to have in place, which I hope to provide. Some may call me unpredictable, or volatile, which is understandable given my past, but hopefully my work in medical has proven that I’m willing to turn around and assist where it’s needed. Given the absence of CI R&D, I now want to find a new way to contribute to the server in the way I know best, and research has a variety of ways to do that. By becoming a member of the research command team, I hope to refine my own ideas and help others refine their own by being reliable and educational. What can you bring to the table that others can't? (100 word requirement): Experience. Not only have I been in multiple branches, I have been senior command of R&D and have even been a member of research command before. I’ve put a lot of work into the server, and I hope to use those experiences to further drive research to be the best it could possibly be. My connection to many parts of the server will provide better means to communicate with other branches, as well as a general understanding of how they work. To put it simply: I can and will further researches connection with the rest of the server through interactions, connectivity, and general awareness. What would you do to better Research and increase activity? (100 word requirement): I plan on paying attention to the areas where research struggles the most. There are many places in research that could use more attention, but currently, I feel like divisions are underutilized, with many divisions having little to no activity due to general neglect or lack of incentive. I hope to bring more meaning to these divisions by advocating for their usage to the rest of the server. AIAD is my most important focus, but I wish to bring more light to all of researches divisions, and hope to work with command and enlisted alike across the server to encourage new scenarios and activities.
  18. What are you suggesting? - Remove the crossarms, reverse crossarms, and salute swep from the extras crate, and place them all in a separate combined donator package similar to the emotes pack. How would this change better the server? - These are honestly the only things I want out of this crate, and I believe many others share this opinion. They are great for RP, but I have no real reason to buy the crate. A price increase might be justified, but it would be better for more people to have access to these for RP. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - Less encouragement to buy extras crate, more to buy the specific package Who would this change mostly benefit? - Donators who want to spice up their RP Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion - N/A
  19. In-Game Name: Catalyst Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:184128807 Current Research Rank: EXPR Foundation Test Log(s) (graded 8+/10 only): Your Operations Advisor Overseer, has informed you there is a group of insurgents collecting foundation data at a field operating base on the surface. They are armed and well secured. How would you approach it? (100+ words): First, I would contact the local civilians and ask them questions regarding the insurgency and the forward operating base. Things such as names and ranks may help analyze the situation better, as well as the civilians being able to provide more info from a remote, non dangerous source of information. After gathering information from the local civilian population, it would be best to monitor the base itself, this could be done through more distant means, but the best and most available course of option would be to scout out the insurgents themselves as well as their equipment from a vantage point. Knowing the amount, and who leads the operation makes it less difficult for MTF forces to intervene. Once the best information has been gathered, It would be time to strike, targeting any leadership or otherwise critically needed personnel for the operation to take over the base. Once the base has been properly cleared, we would hopefully have captured a hostage to interrogate about the information they had been collecting, but otherwise, attempt to infiltrate the systems and find out how they managed to breach into our database, and what exactly they were looking for. There is a strange SCP that calls himself the “targeter”. When the name of another individual is said within earshot of the “targeter” the “targeter” will teleport to the individual that has had their name said, and run off. How would you suggest the foundation approach apprehension and / or termination of this individual? (100+ Words): Termination is not necessary, since even though the humanoid anomaly may be difficult to contain, it poses no direct threat to the life of foundation personnel. Given that it is a humanoid scp, it would be wise to first try to convene with the anomaly and discover its intentions, or other information. If the targetter agrees for apprehension, or force is required, the subject should be placed in a soundproof containment chamber to avoid containment breaches during testing. Research and task force personnel should be notified of this instance, and from there you may begin designating and describing the object, most commonly in a foundation document. While the targeter has the ability to breach containment, it is completely controlled by OTHER subjects, so it would likely only receive a euclid designation unless proven it is capable of more than its first ability. An abandoned camp site has been discovered on the surface, hidden incredibly well within the brush. There are documents, newspaper scraps, as well as an old laptop with unknown data being transferred to a suspicious I.P. address. How do you react? (100+ Words): The camp had likely been abandoned not long ago, so due to the danger it may present, It may be wise to employ a few guards during the discovery, more particularly ones that are experienced or otherwise trained for field agency work, such as covert agents. First, the data upload should be stopped if possible, to avoid transferring as much data as possible. The documents and newspaper scraps should be analyzed for any critical information that might pose a threat to the veil of the foundation. Regardless, the information should be gathered for further use later. First, it would be important to see what exactly was being transferred to the unknown IP. Finding out what it is, and where it actually came from, helps determine what the other IP address may be using the information for. Both addresses should be tracked and identified geographically, so further investigation may go through if needed.

  21. What is your In-Game name? Catalyst What is your SteamID (e.g. STEAM_0:1:55975235)? STEAM_0:0:184128807 What is your rank? (Medical and/or Maintenance) Surgeon How many strikes do you currently have? 0 How many warnings do you have on GL? (Post a screenshot of your warnings) (I literally can't because forums won't let me upload. I have 8 warnings and 0 active warnings.) Who gave you permission to apply? Quinn Why are you a good fit for Trauma Engineer (75+ Words)? I've had experience being trauma before, and I still have a good amount of credibility. I'm currently both in medical and maintenance, so being sure that I understand both the maintenance and medical sides of trauma engineer is a given. I consider myself active, and I want to be able to combine my abilities through trauma so I can be one of the more diligent healers in the foundation. Hopefully my experience and work I've put in through medical and maintenance proves I am capable for the role. Scenario Questions: Q1: An MTF Nu7 Corporal is in dire need of surgical attention (5% health) but an MTF E11 Captain has asked you to come to SCP-966’s containment cell and fix its doors. What should you prioritize? The surgical attention would depend on the code, but it is always important to prioritize keeping foundation heathy in any case. It likely wouldn't be fit to give them surgery, but surgeries shouldn't be done on code black anyway. In any case, the Nu7 CPL should be healed first, and then SCP-966's containment takes next priority. Q2: SCP-106 is on its last advert and is about to breach. As you are enroute to 106’s cell, a squad of MTF D5 Gladiators requests that you squad up with them. What should you prioritize? The Gladiators. While a critical breach is about to happen, your job as a TE is to make sure to keep foundation personnel healthy, and squad up with MTF whenever possible.
  22. What are you suggesting? - Increasing the effective multiplier of the health and armor boost in the !boost menu How would this change better the server? The incentives to afk to support your branch is nice, but the amount of health and armor you get from the HP/AP boosts are not very good. Not only do you have to reset yourself to get the boost, you cannot get any of the health or armor back, and the amount you actually get is pitiful. Given that the health and armor cannot be regained, I feel as if it would be fair to increase the multiplier to something much larger, such as x1.50, even if that warrants a price increase for the boosts themselves. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. People with a lot of money might be able to massively influence the power on the server. I feel that this could also be a benefit, giving much more meaning to having said cash since you could do a lot more with it (More people who want to AFK) Who would this change mostly benefit? - People who AFK since they can better support their branch by buying boosts Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion - N/A
