I trust CI HCMD and CI SCMD and I don't think they are lying, however, I feel like all situations like this should be handled the same regardless of in game rank. Therefore whether your a D class on your first day or o5 you should still need to prove your side with clear evidence. This is just my opinion.

+ Support While I do think you should not have killed the HSU and just let him cuff you so he can get warned for failRP, I understand why you shot him. The HSU should have known better then to just cuff you and treat you like you don't know anything. However, I don't know if Weiss not hearing you side is true since there is no evidence of that. If I was a admin taking this sit I would have just explained to the HSU that you are allowed in HCZ and then verbally warned you for killing him.

+ / - Support + it helps R&D get more test done + It would make onsites a lot more fun for MTF and CI +/- The whole threat of doing a onsite is that you are taking your researchers into the foundation where you know there will be tons of enemies. I like that currently the best way for CI to stay safe during a onsite is to sneak your way to the SCP your testing on. Allowing building inside the CC makes it easier for CI to just go loud since they will have more cover. Side note: Like the pictures.

This was very hard to write. 7 months ago I got trained for research. I instantly fell in love with the branch and spent an unhealthy amount of hours playing and researching. It was fun though. I wrote many test logs and my biggest inspiration was D. D’s test logs inspired my own logs very much. I worked my way up to LR and thought I would stop there. I didn’t know if I wanted command at the time. Then JCMD apps opened and I said, screw it, and applied for JCMD thinking I wouldn’t make it. However I got an overwhelming amount of support and got research command. I then made my way up to KCM and thought I would stop there, but then I got RA, then FD. I did it, I hit my goal, now what? I hit a block and I kind of got burnt out. I was spending more time in other branches and now that JCMD apps are out, I noticed I really disconnected from research. I believe there are people that would better fit my position then me and I’m not going to hold up a slot just to do nothing with it but sit there. You will still see me on the server in E11, not as often since school is fast approaching. Thank you research, you will always be in my heart. Some people may ask, why resign now? With the new JCMD coming in I feel like it's a good time to resign. I’ve done what I wanted to do in research and I wanna believe I helped it a little. Research is better then ever right now. Getting research command was never my plan to begin with, but it taught me so much. Also, burnout. I have no desire to flag onto research anymore. As I said earlier, I would feel bad holding a spot that could be better used by a more active person. What would I do if I stayed? I would have just kept my rank and stayed just as inactive. This is not the end though. There will be a day when I come back. Maybe 3 months, maybe a year. Who knows? Mentions: Starstep: You are one of 2 people that I’m intimidated by on the server.
