  1. Date of Interview: 2/1/21 Topic of Interview: SCPs containing the pestilence Notes Pre-Interview: SCP 049 is a humanoid entite dressed in a plague doctor's uniform. SCP 049 claims that the world is succumbing to a disease it calls the “pestilence”. SCP 049 has stated that he has incredible skills at detecting the pestilence. Today, I want to ask SCP 049 if he can detect the pestilence on some of site 10’s SCPs Interviewer: Researcher recon Interviewee: SCP 049 ---------------------------BEGINLOG---------------------------- Q: Does SCP 173 contain the pestilence A: It does not Q: Why is that? A: Its something only us doctors can see Q: Would you say that SCP 173 contains the pestilence because it is not a biological being? A: That does play a factor as to why. The pestilence can be seen as a black smoke. Q: Does SCP 106 contain the pestilence? A: It does not Q: Why is that? A: I say this because it cannot be counted as a living being, it is already beyond death. Q: Does SCP 035-1/035-2 contain the pestilence? A: Yes. Q: Do you think this is because it was human at a prior time? A: I do believe that it is more human than most SCPs Q: Would you say that 035, the mask without the host, contains the pestilence? A: Only the host contains the pestilence Q: Does SCP 999 contain the pestilence? A: It does not, it's nowhere near human. Q: From everything you said so far, it seems that only SCPs that are human contain the pestilence. What about SCP 343? SCP 343 is the closest SCP that we have to humans. A: Not every person has pestilence. Q: Would you say that only human beings can contain the pestilence? A: Necessarily. Q: Are there any SCPs that you know of that do contain the pestilence. A: Not that I know of right now. ---------------------------ENDLOG------------------------------- Conclusion: After showing SCP 049 a multitude of different types of SCPs, I can conclude that SCPs do not contain the pestilence. Also, we have learned that SCP 049 can see the pestilence as a “black smoke” around people. VIDEO RECORDING:
  2. NOTE THIS CROSS TEST SHOULD NEVER BE DONE AGAIN Lore Name: recon Rank: AR SCP: 096 & 173 Question / Idea: Would SCP 096 be able to kill SCP 173? Would SCP 173 be able to kill SCP 096? Background Research: SCP-096 is a tall, humanoid creature who will attack anyone who sees its face whether it be directly, via video recording, or even a photograph. SCP 096 seems to be impossible to kill due to its bones being seemingly indestructible. SCP 173 is a statue constructed from concrete and rebar with traces of Krylon brand spray paint. SCP-173 is animate and extremely hostile. The object cannot move while within a direct line of sight. However, if line of sight is broken with SCP 173, SCP 173 will snap the necks of anyone who breaks line of sight with it. Hypothesis: There are two hypotheses I have for this experiment. If SCP 096 does not blink then SCP 173 will be ripped apart by SCP 096 because SCP 173 will not be able to move while SCP 096 is attacking it. This will result in SCP 096 winning their battle. However, if SCP 096 does not notice SCP 173 immediately then SCP 173 will kill SCP 096 because SCP 096 will not be looking at SCP 173. This would result in SCP 173 winning the battle. Observations (What Happened During Test): 2 Gensec and 3 MTF nu7 transported SCP 173 to SCP 096’s containment cell. SCP 173 was placed into SCP 096’s containment chamber. SCP 173 and SCP 096 were left in the room for an estimated 1 minute before SCP 096 could be heard crying and screaming. SCP 096 was believed to be enraged by SCP 173. SCP 096 could be heard attempting to break SCP 173. After an estimated 3-5 minutes, SCP 096 returned to its docile state. SCP 173 was believed to still be inside of the containment cell so retrieval was postponed until SCP 096 became enraged once more. After an estimated 2 minutes, more crying and screaming could be heard from inside of the containment cell. SCP 096 was believed to be attacking SCP 173 once again. SCP 096 was enraged for an estimated 3-4 minutes before returning to the docile state once again. At this time, it was believed that SCP 173 and SCP 096 were unable to kill one another. 2 MTF members went into the containment chamber to retrieve SCP 173. Unfortunately, SCP 173 snapped the necks of the two MTF members during retrieval. The remaining security personnel devised a plan to retrieve SCP 173 from the cell safely. After 5 minutes, SCP 173 was successfully retrieved and brought back to its containment cell. SCP 173 was seen to have large chunks of its stone broken off. However, the rebar skeleton was unscaved. Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): The battle ended in a stalemate because SCP 096 did not blink therefore, SCP 173 was unable to move the entire time. SCP 096 was also unable to completely destroy SCP 173. After reviewing the test, I believe that this cross test should never be done again as it is highly dangerous and results in no termination of either SCP. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: No
  3. Date of Interview: 1-29-2021 Topic of Interview: SCP 049 pestilence Notes Pre-Interview: According to SCP 049, the pestilence is a disease that has affected most human beings. The pestilence currently is not believed to be real and is believed to be an imaginary disease created by SCP 049. SCP 049 claims to not have yet created a cure for the pestilence. Interviewer: Recon Interviewee: SCP 049 ---------------------------BEGINLOG---------------------------- Q: When was the first time you encountered the pestilence? A: Around the time of Genghis khan. (Estimated sometime in the early 12 hundreds) Q: Are you, yourself immune to the pestilence? A: Yes. Q: If you are immune to the pestilence, how? A: I have been immune since birth Q: Have you ever met someone who is also aware of the pestilence? A: No, I am the only one of my kind Q: Do other SCPs have the pestilence or is it limited to just infecting humans? A: So far, from the ones I know of, no SCPs have the pestilence. However, the pestilence is not limited in its host selection. Q: What are your methods of detecting the pestilence? Do you look for common symptoms or something else? A: I just sense it Q: In what way do you sense it? Do you examine somebody? Can you tell by the way they look, the actions they make, the way they move? A: I can sense the pestilence just by a glance at someone. Q: What is your use of SCP 049-2 A: 049-2, the cured. They are my extra eyes and hands. They, like me, can detected and exterminate the pestilence. ---------------------------ENDLOG------------------------------- Conclusion: SCP 049 first discovered the pestilence in what can be estimated between 1150-1250. Since SCP 049 was made immune by birth, the pestilence is believed to be a disease that passed down through genetics. If the pestilence is spreaded by genetics, then it makes sense why SCPs do not contain the pestilence since they are not created through natural means. SCP 049-2 is created by SCP 049 to help SCP 049 in eradicating the pestilence by attacking people who have the pestilence. This explains why SCP 049-2 attacks humans.
  4. Lore Name: Recon Rank: AR SCP: 173 Question / Idea: If SCP 173’s arms were cut off, could SCP 173 still snap the necks of people? Background Research: SCP 173 is a tall, 3 legged entity made entirely of stone and rebar. SCP 173 can not move while being looked at, but when SCP 173 is not in direct line of sight, SCP 173 can move freely. SCP 173 will attempt to snap the necks of anyone who is not in direct eye contact. Hypothesis: If SCP 173 uses its arms to snap the necks of its victims, then it will not be able to snap the necks of people when its arms are cut off because SCP 173 will have no way to snap peoples necks. Observations (What Happened During Test): two GENSEC officers and one maintenance worker entered SCP 173’s containment chamber. Using a sledge hammer, the maintenance worker proceeded to break off bits and pieces of SCP 173’s stone. After an estimated one minute, the maintenance worker was able to break off almost all of the stone and rebar off of SCP 173’s left and right arms leaving only what can be described as, two little straw sized pieces of rebar. Next, one class D personnel was placed in SCP 173’s containment cell. The D class stared at SCP 173 for an estimated 15 seconds before a loud grunt could be heard from the observation room. 3 HENSEC officers were then sent in to secure the D class’s corpse for examination. 1 officer reported to see SCP 173 standing in front of the D class’s body. After examining the body of the D class, 1 large bruise can be seen on the chest of the D class. Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): After thinking about what could have caused the bruising on the D class’s body, I infer that SCP 173 had to have thrusted itself at the D class at immense speed, causing the bruising and death of the D class. As said before, SCP 173 was seen in front of the D class’s body instead of behind. This means that it did not attempt to snap the neck of the D class. In conclusion, SCP 173 can not snap peoples necks if its arms are cut off. Also, assuming that SCP 173 did bump into the D class to kill it, we can now infer the SCP 173 does not teleport but instead moves at extremely fast speeds.
  5. Lore Name: Recon Rank: Associate researcher SCP: 1025 Question / Idea: Can people be affected by SCP 1025 when blindfolded? Background Research: SCP 1025 is an anomalous book about diseases that when read, gives the person who reads it the disease they read about. SCP 1025 is currently contained at site 10 in the light containment zone in anomalous items containment cell. Hypothesis: If someone reads SCP 1025 while blindfolded then they will not be affected by SCP 1025 because from all my prior testing, SCP 1025 only affects the people who read it. Observations (What Happened During Test): One class D was given SCP 1025 to read. I instructed the D class to look at the book but not to read it. Once the D class looked at the book, I blindfolded the D class. I then instructed the D class open and read the book. The D class opened the book and died on the spot to, what I assume to be, cardiac arrest. Analysis / Conclusion (What Could of Cause The Results): After the test, I conclude that people will still be affected by SCP 1025 when blindfolded. With this new information, I think that people are affected by SCP 1025 not because they read it. More research is required to understand how SCP 1025 affects humans. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: My hypothesis was not correct Note: First time writing in this format, please be nice
