Name: Raptor Rank: Associate Researcher SCP: SCP-049 Question / Idea: Will SCP-049 not attempt to "cure" someone if he is in the presence of SCP-999? Background Research: SCP-049 resembles a medieval plague doctor and if what he believes to in the presence of the "pestilence" he will kill the individual with a touch of his hand and reanimate the corps, being able to command them, also known at SCP-049-2. Hypothesis: I think that SCP-049 will not "cure" someone if SCP-999 is with him and affecting him. Observations: SCP-049 infects the first individual D-Class placed in the cell without SCP-999 but once SCP-999 and another D-Class were placed SCP-049's cell he was hugging SCP-999 and made no attempts to "cure" the second D-Class. Analysis / Conclusion: SCP-049 will not attempt to "Cure" an individual if in the presence of SCP-999 the same can also be said about SCP-049-2, SCP-049 was also playing with SCP-999 and hugging him. Name: Raptor Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: SCP-173 Question / Idea: Can SCP-173 climb over obstacles higher than itself and if it can would it rather climb in order to reach it's target faster rather than going around it? Background Research: SCP-173 is a being made of concrete and rebar with it's face being made out of spray paint, it only moves when direct line of sight is broken and will move at blazing speeds to reach anyone not currently viewing it, once it reaches it's target it will kill the target by either strangling it or breaking the targets neck. Hypothesis: I believe that SCP-173 will not be able to climb over the fence/obstacle and will instead go around. Observations: Fences were installed in the containment cell with help from security then once placed SCP-173 went over the fence and then continued to snap the neck of the targets. Analysis / Conclusion: 2 D-Class were brought in and once the shutters were closed and the fence's were set up SCP-173 immediately went over than fence showing that it in fact can go over objects and that it prefers going over in order to faster catch up to the target rather than going around the object. What do you want to see? - A way for all main battalions ( ST, Shock, SF, 501st, medical, Havoc, IC, RG, DT, IQ, Naval, IF, and also possibly High command) to be able to chat privately to each other in chat. A example would be from Gaminglight's SCPRP on how for security members they do /security [TEXT] do send messages to all of those currently on any of the Security jobs. Why should we add it? - So that Battalions would have their own comms and be able to tell useful information to their battalion that is useless to other battalions. What are the advantages of having this? - Could prevent people from metagaming (whether it be accidental or intentional) and would be better than the current way people want to send messages specifically to their battalion.
