What are you suggesting? - Change the wording of SCP-035, SCP-106, and SCP-173's self breaching guidelines that state that only Containment Specialists can prevent their self breaches/repair their CC. Maintenance as a whole and most staff were not aware of this rule and thus it was not followed, currently it's the norm to just go and repair/prevent these self breaches on normal maintenance jobs such as Senior Maintenance/Command for 035 and 106, and even Junior Maintenance for 173. I am suggesting for the MOTD to be changed to this: Remove the rule "Containment Specialists must clean SCP-035’s CC if it attempts to breach with its viscous liquid." under 035's section, as 035's self breach cannot be stopped by Maintenance because it asks for D-Class. Change 106's rules to "SCP-106's self breaching process can be stopped by SCP-106’s base being replaced by a Containment Specialist or Maintenance Professional+". Change: "If no Containment Specialists or Maintenance Professionals+ are online, an MTF Nu-7 Field Expert may replace the base. If no Field Experts are available, E-11 Combat Engineers may replace the base." Change "A Containment Specialist or Maintenance Professional+ must repair SCP-106’s Containment Chamber and must replace the base. Change "SCP-173's self breaching process can be stopped by its cell being cleaned by a Junior Maintenance+. If no Junior Maintenance+ are online, an MTF Nu-7 Field Expert may clean it. If no Field Experts are available, E-11 Combat Engineers may replace the base." How would this change better the server? - Would make Maintenance's job easier and provide more incentive for Maintenance Adept and below to play on Containment Specialist. -support Complaining in OOC from both CI and MTF is still very much of an occurrence. Like Orange said, when crossing was allowed it always gave someone the short end of the stick unless both sides were feeling particularly diplomatic that day or had an absolute equal amount of manpower. Twix put it perfectly. Negotiations are one of the only real RP activities MTF has, crossing just makes the whole thing combat focused again, which may seem good to some, but I disagree.
