SSO Commodore Busch's Resignation Good evening everyone. It has finally come to my attention that I can no longer be active on the server any longer. I wish I could make things work but life is moving me in another direction and I must follow it. It has been a pleasure working with everyone and meeting all these new people and creating new friendships. I have been apart of this server for almost 2 years now and have almost enjoyed every second of it. Of course there have been some ups and downs but there's no need to go into that. Jpackis: Its been great to see you again on the server and I know you'll do great things here. I would say the usual saying but. Darby: You sir are a smart individual. You know what it takes to get things done and I respect it. Its been a pleasure working with you and working together to make SO great. Mark: I am gonna miss annoying the hell outta you man. You're a great guy with a big heart and never failed to make me or anyone else laugh. Keep up the good work man I am proud of the person you've become. Zefer: Its great to see you back on the server yet again and doing great things in Naval. Sadly I wont be with you this time. Nex: You have been doing a great job managing shock and naval duties and have never failed to help those who need it. Keep it up man. Mann: Will miss our late night talks in the TS talking about god knows what. Been a honor and a pleasure to work with you. Manjini: no Astro: Thank you for being there for me when I needed it. You helped me vent out any issues that I had and looked out for me every step of the way. You continue to do great things and strive for the best in everyone. Love you BBG. If you dont see your name above its really only cause I have met so many people in my time that I honestly cannot remember everyone. You have all impacted my life and made it better. I will comment on this part mainly because of what you said about my time as SD. My time was cut short due to personal reasons. I took an LOA about a week before I left and when I realized I would not be able to hop onto the server as much as I would like I requested reserves. Those were denied due to me being inactive for a week even though I was on LOA. Real life came first to me and when it came down to it I could not focus my time on a video game and it killed me to have to make that choice. Even more so when it came down to me honestly wasting a lot of time when I was denied reserves. Felt like I wasn’t welcome for a long time and I left the server for about a year until I came back about a month ago. The rest of your points are valid but I felt as if I should share my perspective on that one point. Appreciate the feedback classy! And also if I do remember correctly when I did receive roster access that was one of the biggest things I did. I remember in Naval command meetings Nimo or Mikey stating that everyone should be doing the roster updates and not just me. That was until Adam came into low command haha.

1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : Busch 2. What Regiment are you applying for? Naval 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? I believe that I should be Agent Kallus mainly because I have the experience and leadership qualities. In terms of server experience I was once a Vice Admiral and Security Director in Naval about a year ago. This gave me an opportunity to work with the commands of both DT and Shock mainly with keeping their rosters updated and offering the SO teams services for whatever they needed. Currently I am doing the same as an SSO especially with our current director out sick. The team has been operating at an excellent standard by constantly hosting tryouts and SIMs for both battalions. I cannot take all the credit for that because the gentlemen doing these are dedicated individuals who have done so on their own accord. In terms of real life experience I am currently enlisted in the USAF and awaiting to go to boot camp. I want to help improve the server however I can and I believe that this is a step in that direction. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? I have 4 weeks in game. 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? A commander in Naval should constantly be checking in on those below them to make sure that everything is running smoothly. Making sure those individuals are meeting quotas and that they are built up to lead one day themselves and to not tear them down. We all know that this is a video game and for some this may be an escape from the real world. If we come at those individuals with a harsh tone or to intentionally or unintentionally tear them down this may lead to something worse than what we may think. We must help those around us and in turn those individuals will do the same to others. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : Mainly because I have the experience and the right attitude previously stated. Having the right mindset and attitude reflects on those under you and they learn and watch your every move. If you motivate them and build them up they will do the same with others. 7. How often can you be Online? : I am only whenever I can. Mainly after work and when I am off and at home I will be on. 8. Do you have any Warnings? (What for?) : I have a single warning a year ago for arresting staff. The story behind this was the staff in question was joking with myself and another individual. It was late night and we were messing around arresting one another and when I arrested the staff member in question he gave me a warning. That individual was either removed or left the server sometime after.

Honestly I have to agree with this. To my knowledge you still have not apologized not only to those individuals but to SF as a whole. To me this shows that you have no regrets or feel sorry or in the wrong in this incident. Being a leader means you own up to your mistakes and strive to do better and not apologizing seems small but means much more.

My first goal would be to try to improve the activity of Security. Our activity is good but not the best it could be and we could be doing more. Secondly I would ensure that not only myself but the SO team host as many SIMs and Tryouts for DT and Shock that I can. A couple examples would be possibly doing a close quarters training course for Shock CQC and a capture a high value rebel target for interrogation sim for DT. My reasoning behind this would to get as many Shock and DT online and wanting to stay online. DT activity has been great over the last couple of weeks but Shocks has been lacking slightly. I want to help the best way I can to improve activity for those battalions and do whatever I can to help their commanders with whatever they may need. I would make sure that the SO team are listening and doing their best to not only improve whatever battalion they may oversee but helping those who need assistance. Our main goal to me would be to make sure that my team is doing everything they can to make sure DT and Shock are running smoothly. Why should you be trusted with this position?: I have been apart of the SO team before both as an officer and as a former Director of Security. I understand the duties and responsibilities that would be entrusted onto me and to do what it takes to make sure things operate smoothly in the SO team and for the battalions that we help oversee. We are an essential part of maintain the security forces on the ISD and we need to make sure that we are working together as a team. Why do you want this rank?: The main reason why I would like to become SD is to help not only the Security Team but Shock and DT. I have said this before and I will say it again, helping people and being productive is the key to success no matter where you go. I want to help make DT and Shock be the best that they can be with whatever tools are at my disposal. Do you understand that if you receive a strike you will be stripped of this rank?: Completely What is your purpose within your assigned branch?: The duties of a Security Director to me would be to firstly keep up to date and be as communicative as I possibly could with my SO team. Doing this I will make sure that the SOs are constantly hosting tryouts and SIMs for DT and Shock and to make sure that they are assisting those battalions with whatever they need. Further making sure that the SO team is active and encouraging those who aren't as active to do the best that they can with whatever time they may have. The SO team is obviously a team but more turns into a family that works together to achieve a common goal. The other duties a SD would be entrusted with would to make sure that DT and Shock battalions are helped and taken care of. Working with the commanders all the way down to the enlisted to see what needs to be either improved upon or what needs to be done to take that weight off their shoulders. Another smaller thing would be to update the rosters for DT and Shock to further remove the tedious work that needs to be done to keep the battalions running. I am not sure if there is a lot to improve on with SO at the moment. The things I would work on however is to do a lot of tryouts and SIMs with DT and Shock to improve their activity and to make sure they are well trained. For as long as I have been apart of this community I see people struggling to get on or deciding not to. Creating SIMs and hosting tryouts will encourage people to get on the job and perform to the best of their ability. Some people see getting on this server as an escape from the real world. If we force and pressure them to get on then they will only refuse to do so. I wish to encourage good behavior and strive to work with those that want to make a difference not only on the server but in themselves. Helping others is what its all about. Why should you be trusted with this position?: I have been apart of SO before as both a regular officer as well as the SD at one time. I have a lot of experience with working with Shock and DT before in the past and would love to do it again. Helping people is my passion and I believe with this position I can do the most good not only for Shock and DT but the server as a whole. Why do you want this rank?: Because I love to help people. Being able to work with not only Naval but DT and Shock would allow me to try my best to help improve activity as well as to give those battalions something to do and actually want to get on the job. I will also strive to do my best to build people up and not tear them down. Encouraging those to do the best and be the best that they can be is what is most important to me and I believe with this role I can help make a difference. Do you understand that if you receive a strike you will be stripped of this rank?: Completely What is your purpose within your assigned branch?: As a Security Officer my purpose and duty would be to help train and prepare DT and Shock for whatever may come there way as well as to assist those battalions with whatever they need done so they can focus on more important tasks at hand. Creating a stable and pleasant work environment is also key. Obviously this isn't an actual job where you come to work and get paid. That's what's different between this and the real world. You have a choice to come onto the server. If we create an environment where people are disrespectful and rude towards one another then why would people want to get on? I would work especially hard to make sure that communication and teamwork is the most important tool to utilize. If we don't work together nothing will get done. If we don't push each other to be the best that we can be then no one improves. Working towards unification and teamwork is what I believe the most important goal of an SO is. It is important as an SO to stand by your men and lead them no matter the case. I understand what you are trying to accomplish by doing that but leaving them alone to depend for themselves at the rank of PVT is not going to work the way you think it will. I can understand this a little better if it was an SNCO but not as a PVT. You would be considered a leader to them and you must instruct them on how to act and mentor them so that they can eventually lead themselves and others. Im sorry but I personally think that at this time you are not fit to be a SO. I hope you can understand my feedback and not be discouraged but learn from this and grow.

From what I can remember, and keep in mind this was late at night, it was at the time I swore I witnessed you do it. With hindsight in mind I was mistaken and again tried but failed to get you unbanned which again was my mistake and I apologize for that my friend. I really do hope that we can get over this mistake and I hope to see you on the server soon.

As I stated before hand I tried to get you unbanned for my mistake. It was my fault for not taking further measures to do such and I have admitted that to you as well as SMT Luci. I am not the type of person to do things out of spite. I had and continue not to hold any grudges against you and hope to see you back on the server sometime soon.

I did witness it happen. There were multiple things that lead me to believe that what was said was true. For instance shooting me to get my attention. And as I have stated it was a big mistake and misunderstanding and I have apologized for not doing more to get him unbanned

So let me clear up the story my friend. I was confronted by the VCMDR of Shock saying that you and Otis were both making sexist remarks towards Rosa. I banned you first because I couldnt find Otis. Once I banned you Otis confessed because he switched his name to another shock who was also on at the time. Also the accusations of killing two people were not false. It clearly stated in the logs that you killed an IC and an SF but both stated that you did not do it so my thought was that the logs could have been wrong or glitched. I was not targeting you just only doing my job as a staff member to ensure that the people on the server enjoy their time. I went through everything I had to see if I could unban you and on my side there was nothing I could do. It is my failure to notify SMT of the situation and I apologize to you for the inconvenience and hope to see you on the server soon!

Whether that be during an off day when I am not working or after work for about 2 hours making sure the ISD is still being run properly. Why do you want to become Fleet Admiral?: My main purpose already in Naval is to help those to become leaders so eventually they can lead and instruct others. We have excellent Naval supervisors and low command but we kind of just let those people do their own thing and if they do everything right they are eventually promoted. We need to help instruct those who are struggling with certain aspects of their jobs and lead those to not only better themselves but to better the battalion as a whole. I have many years of leadership experience. From leading IRL people in a squadron of 40+, to leading many different battalions and units in a milsim setting with players in excess of 75. I try the best I can to RP when the opportunity arises and to give those a chance to lead the RP to see what they are capable of. What is the main purpose of Fleet Admiral?: The main purpose of Fleet Admiral is to make sure the ISD and Naval operations are running smoothly so higher up high command can worry about other important things and not have to deal with smaller issues. He or she needs to be certain that whatever comes there way can be easily and swiftly dealt with in an appropriate manner to keep the battalion running smoothly. Also as well as to keep up good relations with Army High Command and bridge the gap between Naval and Army. Without good relations with Army High Command all personnel onboard could suffer.
