What do you want to see? - Give the Research the SE-14c (rw_sw_se14cc) and remove the E-22 rifle Why should we add it? - Giving research the SE-14c would be a slight decrease in damage output at the cost of being more lore friendly. The research battalion has, and always will be a passive rp focused sub-battalion. Giving them a pistol allows them to feel less like a soldier and more like a scientist. What are the advantages of having this? - It would add to the overall ‘scientist’ aesthetic as well as make Researchers feel more unique within the Medical Corps. What do you want to see? - Altering the location of the bacta grenade to tab 1 Why should we add it? - As it stands the bacta grenade is slotted between our armor kits and bacta injectors, so it is relatively easy to accidentally left click the wrong one and throw the bacta grenade as opposed to handing out armor. What are the advantages of having this? - This would reduce the amount of bacta grenades actively thrown and the excuse of “it was an accident” can be used less when it is thrown in a situation it is not needed.   3. What do you want to see? - Add a Scalpel (tfa_nmrih_kknife the “Kit Knife”) to the Rescue Squadron, NCO, Officer, Research, and CMDR/VCMDR classes for surgery roleplay. Why should we add it? - As it currently stands medical have no tools to roleplay surgeries with the same way Havoc have wrenches to roleplay repairs. Adding this scalpel like device would give medical another tool for immersion within the battalion. Upon the addition of the scalpel there would be an addition to the SOP on rules and instructions for it’s appropriate use. What are the advantages of having this? - Having a scalpel would allow for medical to perform more realistic field surgeries as Rescue Squadron, allow for more realistic amputations and incision in medbay for our Surgeons (NCO+), and allow research to better “scrape” samples from living creatures for their studies. Who is it mainly for? - Medical NCOs and Higher who wish to have better tools for our surgeries. Rescue Squadron members who need to perform field amputations.   5. 1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : MC HS VCMDR Maple 3141 2. What Regiment are you applying for? 69th Medical Corps 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? This move would allow for Medical to fill its command roster and allow our regiment to continue growing. Medical has been prospering in my eyes for the past month and its continued growth is something I wish to ensure. As a commander I would be able to continue the work I have been doing as a Vice-Commander, but now with a larger team. With a full team and a commander we would be able to oversee larger changes in the battalion and allow medical to continue to fill its niche to a higher level of efficiency. During my short tenure I have identified multiple pain points and have begun working my way down on the list to solve them, but the list keeps growing faster than I can resolve it. I would like to be a commander so that I may better coordinate resolutions to the list of pains, and follow through with them to ensure they have been done to completion. I have found one of the harder things to accomplish has not been necessarily creating the documents that state the desired behavior, but instead enforcing that behavior across the entire battalion. As a commander I would be able to better coordinate to have this new knowledge engraved into the regiment. Medical has been my home since I joined the server and I wish to be able to create the same experience I have had for everyone else who joins this wonderful battalion. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? At this moment 4 weeks 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? The Commander of the battalion oversees the VCMDRs, Officers, and the overall vision for the battalion. It is the Commander’s responsibility to ensure the overall success of the regiment as well as the overall atmosphere within it. Commanders are meant to be the face of the regiment and therefore must be their own ‘star pupil’ as an example of behavior. Any failure of the regiment means the Commander has failed. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : I have been on this server for just about 4 months now and I believe I have shown myself to be trusting and hard working in everything I involve myself in. During my time as VCMDR I have (with help) reformatted how we handle NCO promotions, implemented a semi-automated tracking system for how tryouts are going, got the medbay sign back, created a Medical website, re-instated medical meetings, finalized the format for the research section of the forums, gathered a list of known pain points from the entire regiment, updated the roster at least once every other day, got an updated SOP approved (Brendan, and Blarg did most the legwork on writing), and other things I may not bring up at this point as they are not finalized. 7. How often can you be Online? : I can be online for 3+ hours for 4 days a week. 8. Do you have any Warnings? (What for?) : 0
  6. I would be curious to know how the patient behaved as the mixture of Ketamine, scurvy, anti-infectant, anti-inflamatory, and the shock of the surgery would have sure been a wonderful cocktail to observe. Did the patient even live, and for how long?
  7. Although your experiment might appear to be a complete failure what you actually ended up doing here is creating a baseline for future experiments. Now if we wish to cut the heads off of other people and measure results we have a time which we would expect them to die at. If they make it past that time, we have made progress. I wouldn't throw out head chopping just yet.

Diligent - I do not do things half-way. When doing events as a Game-Master I never settle to let my events be "generic" in order to simply achieve a number or fill a slot. As a Trial-Mod I will not let my sits end early simply because I need to call for a Moderator+ to carry out a punishment or help me with something I am uncertain of. Once something is started it will be finished. Empathetic- Understanding another person's perspective is something I pride myself in doing. Understanding why people act the way they do, or why people might find their way in a certain situation is key. This is why I spend time on the server often aliased as an ST PVT. Spending time giving myself perspective on how new players not only interact with the server, but how the server interacts with new players. Impartial - Ensuring you step into a situation with no weight in the game is key. This means that level 3 player's story is just as valid as that level 200's. I do believe this applies to me as I will always tell people why I may be denying them a promotion, striking them, dropping a drop pod on them, or any other of my actions. Transparency is key to proving one's self impartial as if there is hesitation on why action A was chosen over B, bias has found its way into the decision. Trustworthy - This position requires trust in a different sense of other positions. Though in my acquiring of these other positions such as Vice-Commander and Game Master I hope to have proven my ability to not take power and abuse it, but instead take the granted power and utilize it as a boon to the community. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you?: If they are being Verbal I would ask them in chat to please stop giving them about 3 seconds to read it as I have no interest in having a yelling contest. If they do not stop I will mute/gag them. During this time I will ask them again to kindly please stop cursing at me as I simply want to hear their side of the story. I will then unmute/gag them with my fingers crossed for them to make the right decision. If they continue to frame me up as the enemy I will mute/gag them and investigate the logs. Based on the logs I will then tell them whats up. For example if they did appear to commit Mass RMD I would tell them "Hey bud, from what I am reading it looks like you committed Mass RDM which will result in both a warn and a 5 day ban for you. I would like to hear your side if you can, but I can not have you swearing and yelling up a storm at me." I would then unmute/gag them one last time and if they continued swearing I would mute/gag them, tell them what is about to happen and let them know they can appeal it on the forums. I would then get a higher staff to ban them for the 5 days while I administer the warn.
  9. I like your goal as it would have a large positive effect on our troopers. Something to think about as you approach this again in the future. The chest cavity is a tight place, and you will have to either make a new skin sack to hold this new lung. You could also re-locate other organs out of the chest cavity. Just some food for thought. Good first study though!

Name and Research Rank: Maple Deputy Director Subject(s): Captain Adam Targeted Results: A functioning newborn with the same genetic sequence as the host which can be grown to be the perfect organ donor. Actual Results: A child which was only able to live off of blood from the host patient. Its strange disfigurement made it impossible to grow to size needed for organ donation. Procedures performed: After making a small incision along the aorta we diverted a small amount of blood from the patient into a per-prepared dish which had a clustering of cells scraped from the patient earlier in the day. The patients white blood cells initially attacked the first couple of cell clusters, but ended up taking on the fourth try. Leaving this device attached to the patient while injecting the patient with growth hormones allowed for the cells to grow to a scale which they could be severed from their host at a more expedient time with only mild side effects for the host. Once severed the cells held the representation of a baby, but with no skin or eyes. Mildly disgusted the patient was sent back to their normal duties with their "twin", but Adam never bonded with their brother. Instead, Admiral Ducks picked up the monstrosity to raise. On a tour of the ship with his 'son' he was confronted by many people making strange remarks about the child, but soon, due to Duck's inability to produce blood similar to 'Adam' the child starved to death or was put down by a disgusted ST. With the sample deceased we were unable to determine if it would be able to produce viable organs for Adam. How could the procedure be improved: The initial thought that patient would bond with the sample has been proven false. Thus in future attempts we will need to raise the sample ourselves in Medbay to ensure its protection and health until it becomes of a scale which can be harvested from.

  17. What do you want to see? - I would like to see a new model put in place for Imperial Researcher. Why should we add it? - Adding this new researcher model would allow for Research to appear more lore friendly as well as fit the imperial aesthetic better. This would also allow Research to be able to differentiate their ranks with body-groups like other battalions and sub-battalions. The research model would also gain the 'Tarkin Initiative' badge which is what has been representing Research in all of our documents. What are the advantages of having this? - The primary advantages for this new model would be the ability to differentiate ranks among research based on appearance as well as make our researchers more lore friendly in appearance. The pins displayed in on the character are the pins which represent the "Research Division" or "Science Officer" according to Rogue One. We also get to keep the iconic 'traumatized' face people recognize researchers by on the server. The Medical Corps is currently going into another renaissance in my eyes. A lot of things are moving and changing. It would be a delight for me to be a part of these changes. The greater access to the wheel of the ship, so to speak, would allow me to continue to push the battalion in what I believe is the right direction. The changes I could make as Vice-Commander as opposed to COL I believe are not too different for stuff within the battalion, but my ability to improve inter-battalion interactions improves greatly. I wish to make Medical a unique experience for all of its members and I wish for it to feel like a truly separate regiment from anything else. The same way SF is able to provide a unique experience flying around the ISD, or how Naval is able to provide unique interaction with other regiments with their built in cohesion. An experience from tryouts to when they achieve COL they should be having unique experiences every day they get on. This can take the shape of SIMs for most, but for others who are reward driven or adventure driven, they need something else. These are things I wish to provide to Medical. Medical has become more important to me over my time and I believe it has some of the most untapped potential. I want a Vice-Commander so I can tap that potential. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? Server is telling me 3 weeks I joined the regiment on 8.28.2020 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? The main purpose of the Vice-Commander will be to assist the Commander and Senior Commander with any directive they wish to see done as well as bring a fresh perspective into the room as the ‘greenest’ member of their ranks. As a Vice-Commander you are then bestowed with the duties of ensuring that the officers/NCOs performing well see reward and that those performing not so well create some room for others to grow into. There are then the other logistical duties such as Roster management and document management which are then picked up as well. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : I believe I can be trusted in the literal sense to be a commander as I have not been warned yet for anything and I have never been struck in medical although it has been my primary regiment since I joined the server. I believe I can be trusted in the sense of fulfilling my duties as well. Once I became Deputy Director in research I began the process of proposing changes to the sub-battalion and have made a few documents to push forward as potential ideas to improve the battalion. Once I became Director I took the ideas which I believe remained significant and could be fun and funneled them up to command for approval, and then out to the other necessary parties. This shows I can be trusted with the logistical duties and foot work duties necessary to be a successful Vice-Commander. In my time as medical I have also hosted quite a few tryouts and have always tried to be there for them after events to ensure their time on the server is rewarded. 7. How often can you be Online? : I am online 4-5 days a week 3+ hours each day. I can be on more some weeks, but some weeks/days I just have to focus on work and family. 8. Do you have any Warnings?   21. Medical loses another worthy trooper today :(. You've been there since the beginning for me and will be sorely missed.
  22. I wish this didn't have to be a real suggestion, but sadly it is. The removal of Medical's relic has had widespread impacts among our troopers' morale. The statement that it abandoned Medical for Naval simply can not be true due to the simple fact that Bridge has no sinks for it bathe in. Please take this suggestion seriously as it truly does impact a section of the community.
