Hypothesis: Does SCP-049-2 show intelligence
Methods: D- Class was infected by SCP-049 and soon became SCP-049-2. Soon SCP-049-2 was brought to the back room to test cognitive ability.
Test #1- We tried to see if SCP-049-02 had short-term and long-term Memory, we did this by taking Arcturus and placing him outside the door with the door closed, we asked 02 a simple question of
"does Arcturus exist?" 02 replied of
"yes"
This shows the SCP's short memory by acknowledging the existence of someone without their presence, we then asked 02 to spell the name of Researcher Arturus. 02 misspelled Arturus, "Arturous" showing that he does have a long-term memory, and a understand of English language.
Test #2- we placed 3 researchers on one corner and 2 on the other, we then asked if 02 can tell which is greater, amazingly 02 choose the 3 researchers. This founding shows that SCP-049-02 may have the ability to understand basic arithmetic
Test#3- we then took 2 lines of researchers, one with 3 researchers packed shoulder to shoulder and another with 2 that was spread out more which was a greater length than the 3 researchers. I asked 02 which line would he want (to attack)
scp-049-02 picked the 2 researchers that are more spread out, showing that it may lack critical thinking
Results: SCP-049-02 is much more capable then expected, they might be useful for experiments that may be dangerous for D-class to enter. Though they are highly aggressive more testing will be nInsert other media eeded to see their potential for the foundation
