  1. Dang, that was a big oof. This was my first ever test.
  2. Lore Name: Jr Johnson Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: 999 Question / Idea: What sour candy does SCP-999 like? Background Research: SCP-999 is a playful and friendly blob of some unknown substance. It is sentient, understands human language, and for the sake of this test, is known to like candy. For Ex. M&Ms, Skittles, ect. Hypothesis: He would like the sour patch kids the most Observations: SCP-999 was offered 3 types of sour candy, warheads, sour gummy bears, and sour patch kids. SCP-999 showed no interest whatsoever in the sour patch kids. SCP-999 showed little interest in the gummy bears, but to no avail. SCP-999, after trying the warheads, was jumping and running around his cell, making high pitched cooing and gurgling noises. It would seem that SCP-999 in this state was very happy and energetic. Evidence/Visual Stimuli (N/A if unable/none): N/A Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): I'm not exactly sure why SCP-999 liked the warheads the most. Maybe it could be due to the fact that sour candy gives SCP a jolt of energy because of its taste. Or maybe it could be that the "zing" of sour candy made SCP-999 hyper. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: No, I was incorrect.
  3. Question / Idea: Can SCP-500 cure mental diseases? Background Research: SCP-500 is a pill, which, taken orally, can cure any disease. Hypothesis: That is could cure mental diseases. Observations The test subject was told to take SCP-500, and the test subject, at this moment, had crippling depression. Once the test subject had consumed SCP-500 and waited 2 hours, they reported that they felt great! They had a better outlook on life, higher self-esteem. The subject no longer reported feeling sad and unhappy. They were cured of their illness. Evidence/Visual Stimuli: None available. Analysis / Conclusion (What could have caused the results?): Well, talking SCP-500, which is known to cure all diseases, was the reason we got the result that made us know that SCP-500 can cure mental diseases. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: Yes, I was indeed correct. Lore Name: JR Johnson Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: 500
  4. Lore Name: JR Johnson Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: 999 Question / Idea: Can SCP-999 get angry at someone? Background Research: SCP-999 is a playful and friendly blob of gel-like stuff. It likes to play and heal others. It is sentient and can understand human language. (Mentally that is.) Hypothesis: That SCP-999 will not be able to get angry and will stay happy. Observations: What I observed from the D-Class is, to see if SCP-999 could get mad, said mean and hurtful things to SCP-999, and SCP-999 was to go into a left corner, meaning he was mad, a right corner, meaning he is happy, and a middle corner, meaning he was neutral. I saw that in all three attempts, SCP-999 stayed neutral, which surprised me. Evidence/Visual Stimuli (N/A if unable/none): (Pictures of the test) None available. Analysis / Conclusion: SCP- 999 was given ways to show how it felt (read Observations) This is how we were able to get the results. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: Yes, and no. He stayed neutral, not happy. Which was my hypothesis, but he also didn't get mad, which was correct.
  5. Lore Name: JR Johnson Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: 173 Question / Idea: Can SCP-173 understand basic language and math? Background Research: SCP-173 is a statue made of concrete and rebar that, if someone is looking at, can not move, and if some isn't looking at, can move. It will brake the neck of anyone if it can move. It is sentient and violent. Hypothesis: It could understand. Observations: SCP-173 did not kill or harass the test subject, neither did it understand. It just moved around and hugged him. Evidence/Visual Stimuli (N/A if unable/none): (Pictures of the test) Don't have any. Analysis / Conclusion: I'm not entirely sure why SCP-173 showed mercy to the test subject, but for the question it may just simply not understand human language, specifically English Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: No.
