  2. <DOCUMENT IS LEVEL [2]> < VALIDATING CLEARANCE...> < CLEARANCE VALIDATED.> ________________________________________________________ SCP-173 Speed Test ; 03-20-2020 Name:Blank Rank:JR ________________________________________________________ Items and materials involved: N/a Personnel involved: 2 Assisting Researchers, and 2 Gensec. SCP: SCP-049 Purpose: To discover more about the curing methods and origins of SCP-049 Hypothesis: My hypothesis is that SCP-049 may refuse to divulge answers about curing/uncuring, but with proper encouragement may reveal his origins. Procedures: 1. Procced to SCP-049's CC. 2. Ask SCP-049 the following questions? 3. How do you cure somebody? 4. How do you uncure somebody? 5. Where were you born, if you where born at all? 6. What is your age? Results/Observations: I asked SCP-049 how to cure somebody. He simply scoffed and said "Cure somebody? I use my methods" Afterwards I asked SCP-049 how to uncure somebody. He gave a similar response. As I was setting up the torture equipment, one of the escorts stepped up and talked about the furthering of research. Afterwards, SCP-049 seemed compliant, and he said to uncure somebody they first have developed a resistance to the pestilence. He followed up by saying "What I do afterwards cannot be comprehended by a human being.". In response to the question "Where were you born" he said his latest memory was of the Arabian Desert. When asked about his age, he says he cannot have an age, as he doesn't change by the passing of time. Analysis: SCP-049 curing methods are practical, but cannot be understood by human beings. SCP-049 seems to have originated somewhere close to Arabia. SCP-049 cannot age, and considers itself neither old nor young. Conclusion: SCP-049 is likely Arabian, and although his curing methods are unknown, we have taken one step to understanding them. Procedures: 1. Bring D-Class to Temp-Euclid 2. Show D-Class SCP-096's face 3. Amnesticize 096-1 4. Amnesticize 096 Results/Observations: After being amnesticized, 096 remained docile. Analysis: If neither 096/096-1 remember the incident, 096 will not terminate 096-1 Conclusion: 096 only kills if he/096-1 remember the viewing Additional Notes: Nothing more to add Thanks to trovdec for the template
  4. <DOCUMENT IS LEVEL [2]> < VALIDATING CLEARANCE...> < CLEARANCE VALIDATED.> ________________________________________________________ SCP-096 Thermals Test Name:Blank Rank:AR (perms from maynard) ________________________________________________________ Items and materials involved: Thermal Goggles, Bag Personnel involved: 1 D-Class personnel, and 1 Gensec SCP: 096 Purpose: To see if viewing through other means of sight like thermal goggles triggers 096's rage state. Hypothesis: SCP 096 will attack the D-Class for seeing his face via thermal goggles. Procedures: 1. Bag 096 2. Equip D-Class with thermal goggles 3. Ask D-Class to view 096's face through the bag Results/Observations: 096 did not enter a rage state, and sat patiently on the ground Analysis: Direct viewing is required, and X-Rays, thermals etc are safe from 096. Conclusion: Direct viewing is the only trigger for SCP 096 Additional Notes: Nothing more to add Thanks to trovdec for the template

  6. <DOCUMENT IS LEVEL [2]> < VALIDATING CLEARANCE...> < CLEARANCE VALIDATED.> ________________________________________________________ SCP-173 Speed Test ; 03-20-2020 Name:Blank Rank:JR ________________________________________________________ Items and materials involved: Spoon used to remove D-Class personnel’s eyes. Personnel involved: 1 D-Class personnel, and 2 Gensec. SCP: SCP-173 Purpose: To see if the line of sight must be from a sapient being. Hypothesis: 173 requires the line of sight to be from a sapient being Procedures: Take D-Class to medbay to have eyes removed Place eyes in 173’s containment Wait and see if SCP 173 kills the now blind D-Class Results/Observations: 173 ignored the pair of eyes on the ground and B-Lined towards the D-Class Analysis: Any form of “line of sight” must be from a sapient being, and “look alikes” like drawing eyes on your eyelid will not work. Conclusion: SCP 173 is only required to stand still while in direct line of sight from a sapient being. Additional Notes: Nothing more to add Thanks to trovdec for the template
  7. <DOCUMENT IS LEVEL [2]> < VALIDATING CLEARANCE...> < CLEARANCE VALIDATED.> ________________________________________________________ SCP-173 Speed Test ; 03-20-2020 Name:Blank Rank:JR ________________________________________________________ Items and materials involved: Small knife used to cut off the eyelids Personnel involved: 1 D-Class personnel, 1 Gensec OFC SCP: SCP-173 Purpose: The purpose of this test is too see being physically unable to blink counts at cheating (for more information about my cheating hypothesis see Hypothesis: SCP 173 would count a D-Class with no eyelids as cheating, and would move despite being looked at. Procedures: D-Class will have his eyelids removed by medical personnel D-Class will enter 173’s containment, and walk up to him D-Class is instructed to report any movement D-Class will leave the containment and say whether or not SCP 173 moved. Results/Observations: SCP-173 was able to move despite being looked at. D-Class 11111 survived the incident and said SCP 173 moved whenever somebody would normally blink Analysis: As far as I can tell, this demonstrates that SCP 173 not moving while in line of sight is some sort of “rule” or “game”, and if you try to cheat, SCP 173 is still capable of killing you. Further research is required to determine whether or not other forms of subversion are considered cheating Conclusion: SCP 173 is not biologically required to stay still while in line of sight, it is something more akin to a game or a sense of honor, and removing eyelids does not work Additional Note: Requesting additional research to determine what forms of subversion work and what doesn't, or if any forms of subversion work at all. After we went to medical personnel to get his eyelids reattached, they misheard us and removed his eyeballs. Upon questioning, he said he could fix it. He proceeded to burn the D-Class in the incinerator. Thanks to trovdec for the template
  8. <DOCUMENT IS LEVEL [2]> < VALIDATING CLEARANCE...> < CLEARANCE VALIDATED.> ________________________________________________________ SCP-173 Speed Test ; 03-20-2020 Name:Blank Rank:JR ________________________________________________________ Items and materials involved: Personnel involved: 1 D-Class personnel, 1 Gensec OFC SCP: SCP-173 Purpose: The purpose of this test is to see if SCP 173 will remain completely still in the presence of 527. This is due to the fact that fishes do not blink. Hypothesis: SCP 173 would be unable to move because 527 is staring at him SCP 527 will enter the chamber, and the doors will close behind him Wait approx 30 seconds Opens the door and question SCP 527 Results/Observations: SCP-173 was able to move despite being looked at. Interestingly though, SCP 173 did not attempt to kill 527, it only stared at it from right in front of him. Analysis: Either SCP 527 blinks like a normal human being due to the fact he's out of water or the human brain has some sort of reflex that blinks despite not needing it. Another possibility is that SCP 173 might consider it “cheating” Conclusion: SCP 527 is not able to keep SCP 173 still while looking at it, due to a difference from regular fish or SCP 173 considering it “cheating”. Additional Note: No additional notes. Thanks to trovdec for the template

(This may result in the death of the D-Class.) 2nd D-Class will enter the containment, and blink with one eye at a time. Researchers present will ask D-Class if SCP 173 moved, or will see if he is terminated. Results/Observations: SCP-173 was able to move despite being looked at. D-Class 11111 survived the incident and said SCP 173 moved whenever he blinked with one eye. Analysis: As far as I can tell, this demonstrates that SCP 173 not moving while in line of sight is some sort of “rule” or “game”, and if you try to cheat, SCP 173 is still capable of killing you. Further research is required to determine whether or not other forms of subversion are considered cheating Conclusion: SCP 173 is not biologically required to stay still while in line of sight, it is something more akin to a game or a sense of honor, and blinking with one eye does not work.
