Rank: Junior Researcher
Clearance Level: 2
List of Personnel involved in testing: Myself(JR Mike), Jr Dr. Brighty, and 1 Gensec
Level D personnel involved: One D-Class
Errors and/or safety hazards: A D-Class was terminated in the test by 1048
Question: How will SCP 1048 React to Bright Lights
Background Research: SCP 1048 is a safe class SCP (Keter depending if 1048-a is breached/created) who resembles a teddy bear with a bowtie.
Hypothesis: I think that 1048 will find the lights irritating and try to cut off ears but if flashed with a bright light too many times will go into a killing spree.
Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): None Analysis and Conclusion: My hypothesis was correct entirely, 1048 was flashed multiple times first time he had a sudden urge to cut off the d-class's ear, after 3 flashes he went into a blind rage.
*Log Start*
Myself, Dr Brighty, and D-class approached to 1048 with a light that has 100,000 Lumens turned off.
I took the D-class and tied him to a wall
*I flashed 1048 with the light and it rushed to the d-class and attempted to cut off its ear.*
We could see the murderous intent it had during the 2nd flash
*We flashed 1048 for a third time with the light and ran after seeing it go berserk and rush to the d-class and murder him brutally*
*Log End *
MANUAL AFTER-TEST LOG So, what I observed was 1048 does not tolerate repeated flashes of a light with 100,000 lumens.
Do your results align with your hypothesis?: Yes, and I look forward to more tests with this anomaly.
