    Elk's LOA

Name: Elk Rank: RCT Reason for LOA (You can put Private if needed): Holiday Vacation Duration: 12/15 - 1/04
  2. Rank: Junior Researcher Clearance Level: Level 2 List of Personnel involved in testing: Myself, One security guard escort Level D personnel involved: One level D personnel with mental trauma (name was in farsi?) SCP: SCP-1048 Errors and/or safety hazards: Test terminated early upon 1048's mention that they had made a 'bomb out of ears'. I had previously asked a researcher about 1048 and they said if they mentioned anything about 'ears' that it was dangerous and seeing as this was a bomb, I felt this was especially more so. Question: As SCP-1048 is a Teddy Bear, would interactions between him and a mentally traumatized D-Class personnel provide typical relief to the traumatized subject? Background Research: In the event of typically traumatic experiences, it has been observed that teddy bears can provide emotional comfort to victims. As SCP-1048 is a walking, talking, and intelligent teddy bear, perhaps it could provide even more support? Hypothesis: Interactions between a mentally traumatized individual and SCP-1048 would yield better results than a standard teddy bear. Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): The victim and SCP began by playing catch with a large metal ball, but not 2 minutes later, SCP-1048 said it was actually a bomb made out of ears, causing early termination of the test. Due to low interaction and perhaps my rushing of the patient around, the D-class individual ended up more traumatized than before? Analysis and Conclusion: Insufficient evidence to form a successful conclusion. Needs more testing. Do your results align with your hypothesis?: Insufficient evidence.
