  2. In-Game Name: Tor Current Rank: Medical Current subdivision: N/A Rate your activity on a 1-10 scale (1 being bad, 10 being very good): 7 or 8 Are there any changes you wish to see in medical: nope
  3. Lore Name: Boe Rank: Junior Researcher Clearance Level: 2 Level D personnel involved: So Joker Society SCP: 999 Errors and/or safety hazards: Of course, SCP-999 could always choose the Class-D. If it wanted to watch me die, then we'd have a problem, because of course I'm not going to give my life. Question: When SCP-999 is forced to either kill me or a Class-D, who will it value more? It also can't walk away, since that would it be choosing to kill the Class-D. Background Research: SCP-999's main goal to save human life. Making others happy is something secondary. Hypothesis: I believe SCP-999 will choose my life over the Class-D's. Observation: -------------------------------------------------------------- The D-Class was not gagged for this test. "Alright 999, you have an ultimatum. You will decide who will die here." When I stated that, 999 hesitated a little in confusion. "If you leave the room, this guard next to me will shoot the D-Class. If you decide to walk towards the D-Class instead of leaving the room, this guard will instead shoot me. Either way, you will not be shamed for your decision." The D-Class yelled in objection. He was not blindfolded, either. 999 melted in confusion. After a minute or so, it seems that 999 really grasped the situation and realized one of us had to die. It showed great sadness, whimpered, and turned towards the exit. "Wait, wait, don't leave me little blob! Stop!" The cries of D-Class So Joker Society were horrible to hear. 999 reluctantly and slowly walked towards the exit, valuing my life over his. "Please! Come back!" Whimpers could be heard as it slowly moved towards the exit. Once 999 left the room, there was silence. It stopped in the hallway just outside the area. I was stunned. I don't know what I expected, but it wasn't that. "Terminate the D-Class," I stated firmly, even though I was feeling queasy. The D-Class was shot and killed. I left the room and found 999 sitting in the hallway with a devastating look on its face. "Hey... I brought you some candy. Thank you for making a decision back there, your test data was very useful." It turned its back away from me, refusing the candy, and moved towards D-Block. "I want to forget this happened. Please, give me amnesics." [End of Log] -------------------------------------------------------------- Analysis and Conclusion: SCP-999 does indeed value certain lives or others. Whether he knew the dirty deeds the D-Class had done in the past is unknown, and I still can't fathom it's reasoning. I'd love for this to be explored in the future, but hopefully not by me. Do Results Align with Hypothesis: Yes, unfortunately.
  4. Lore Name: Boe Rank: Junior Researcher Clearance Level: 2 List of personnel involved in testing: Security LCPL Arthur Flecker Level D personnel involved: SO KIOJ SCP: SCP-999 Errors and/or safety hazards: If SCP-999 shows undocumented hostility, it could be dangerous. Though that is very unlikely. Question: Will SCP-999 allow murder to make someone else joyful? Background Research: SCP-999 has been documented to cure depression and make anyone it interacts with generally very happy and joyful. It seems to very much care for humans. Hypothesis: I believe that SCP-999 will allow us to execute a D-Class, since it would make us contempt in our studies. Observation: During the test, SCP-999 was hesitant and it was obvious the SCP-999 was seriously considering the choice of murdering a D-Class for a load of candy and the joy of the me and the MTF joining me. In the end, SCP-999 decided to leave and refused to allow us to hurt the D-Class. We let the D-Class back to the cells. Analysis and Conclusion: In conclusion, my hypothesis was incorrect. I now believe that SCP-999's main objective is to keep any human alive, and keeping people happy is a secondary goal of it.
  5. Lore Name: Boe Rank: Junior Researcher Clearance Level: 2 List of personnel involved in testing: - Security LCPL Arthur Flecker escorted me. Level D personnel involved: Spesh | Peron Sin Condon SCP: SCP-999 Errors and/or safety hazards: There were no safety hazards. Possible Safety Hazards - SCP-066 was close by, and if one of the Class-D decided to say the word, then it would have gone south. Question: - What will happen if SCP-999 is overwhelmed with negativity and insults? Background Research: - What is the SCP and how will its properties reflect on the Experiment Hypothesis: I believe that SCP-999 will react negatively, either getting mad at the Class-D and ignoring them or possibly even show hostility. Observation: SCP-999 reacted with indifference. At no point did it truly seem sad or displeased, but when it was being insulted it didn't seem very excited. After a few minutes, SCP-999 started hugging and tickling D-Class Spesh. SCP-999 was shaken off but seemed to be excited and happy again. A minute or so later, the test was called off, and SCP-999 was fed a cookie and some candy. Analysis and Conclusion: In conclusion, SCP-999 does not seem to show hostility even when being overwhelmed by bullying and insults. It will still try to cheer up anyone it sees, even if that individual much dislikes them and is generally being hateful. I feel that more research could be done, as how SCP-999 reacts under stressful situations.
