  1. If this doesn't end up in the Wanderer's Library I don't know what will
  2. Item #: SCP-G108 Name: “Death” Object class: Euclid Keter Author: Agent [REDACTED] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special Containment Procedures: After the event of [REDACTED], all mentally stable foundation personnel at site-50 are urgently advised to report any uncomfortably realistic cold whispering to the Research Field Agency. All of Site-50 is to be monitored with spectrophotometers. These instruments will relay their location to Field Agents as well as members of [REDACTED] when unusual amounts of electromagnetic radiation around the 650-950 nm length are measured for extended periods of time. SCP-G108 and SCP-G108-Alpha are not to be touched under any circumstances. Attempts to communicate with SCP-G108 should only be done by authorized Level 3 personnel. All personnel lost through SCP-G108 or SCP-G108-Alpha are to be considered KIA. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Description: SCP-G108, colloquially known as “Death”, is a sentient humanoid creature with the appearance of a human skeleton. It wears a dark hooded cloak, a chain and a belt. Its appearance is similar to the personification of Death as the Grim Reaper in popular mythos. On both the chain and belt they carry what appear to be human skulls. SCP-G108 is reported as leaving individuals within close proximity feeling very cold, even though both digital and physical thermometers do not show any evidence of this. SCP-G108 is capable of summoning burial sites seemingly anywhere a person has died within Site-50. These burial sites upon discovery are labeled as SCP-G108-Alpha. Burial sites have been observed to phase through the floor as if the floor had the consistency of sand, causing minor tremors unable to be felt by humans. Seismograms indicate that this process takes around 5 minutes. SCP-G108-Alpha is always covered in a dark reddish hue, yet a direct source of light is yet to be found. Whenever any being steps on SCP-G108-Alpha they instantly collapse lifeless on the ground, with their corpse sinking deep into the burial site. Anyone who perished at the hands of SCP-G108 or by stepping too close to SCP-G108-Alpha is bound to be reincarnated as an instance of SCP-G108-2, colloquially known as “Skeletons”. These instances emerge directly from the burial sites. SCP-G108-2 are most commonly observed wildly flailing around in a desperate attempt to inflict physical harm to those around them. Whether these beings are sentient or not has yet to be discovered. SCP-G108 is suspected of having extradimensional capabilities, as they are capable of appearing and disappearing at will around Site-50, whether in physical form or in the form of whispering. Once SCP-G108-Alpha sinks back into the ground, no evidence of the burial site or any of the dead bodies it consumed could be found, as indicated by seismic tomographic scans. After an intensive excavation operation down to a depth of [55] meters, it was concluded that all anomalous instances concerning SCP-G108 share its extradimensional property. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Re-containment procedures: SCP-G108 is observed as being unable to spend long stretches of time in our dimension. Therefore, our current best method for containment is to keep SCP-G108 occupied long enough until they return to their own realm on their own accord or until better containment solutions are discovered. All uncontained instances of SCP-G108-2 are to be terminated on sight by security personnel. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Addendum: External document can be found here

  6. +Support Phenominally great idea. The current room is absolutely useless and this would make the room not only useful for RP, but would also be a great hiding spot during events or for D class to hide at. I think this is a great improvement over what we have now.

  8. Well done on the writing, I saw no big spelling mistakes. I do feel like this test was a bit strange, seeing as SCP-173 cannot move while looked at, yet according to your test he jumped twice after hearing a pun/joke? Seems a bit strange lore wise. I do think the idea was creative, especially for a junior researcher. I look forward to seeing your next documents! PS: Next time, perhaps consider making your document in Google Docs or some other program? It can make your document look miles better and it is arguably easier to do as well (you can write up ideas for the test beforehand for example)

  12. Lore - Fits with the lore of SCP-1162. This reminds me of the storyline of SCP containment breach. Creativity - The idea of a D class pulling a high level keycard out of SCP-1162 isn't unheard of, although your method of storytelling is pretty unique. I do really like this method of story telling, leaving out details to leave up to the audience. Presentation - The font size of the text is a bit huge and the lack of visual/auditory stimuli is a shame. The blacked-out text is cool, but could have been executed better as the blacked-out text, even if competely redacted to the point of being unable to be read, doesn't leave all that much up to the imagination. Writing: Punctuation is all over the place. 4 comma's in one sentence makes for an awkward read when literally all of them could have easily been replaced by periods. The tone of the writing is also off-putting for me. "Wow they must have not terminated him and just put him as D class, i wonder why." looks more like something out of someone's diary than something a researcher wrote in the observation part of his research document. I'll leave actual scoring up to command but for a junior researching this was a really great test! I enjoyed reading it. I just wish the build-up was a bit longer because the premise is really interesting and I was enjoying the story.
  13. Very cool test idea! I feel like this fits in nicely with the lore of both SCP. The test was a bit short, which isn't too big of a deal but I would have liked some visual or auditory stimuli. You do use audio log transcripts within your layout but you don't have the actual audio log? Maybe add your recording for the next test.
  14. What you want to see?: The self-breaching removed from SCP-098 Why should we add it?: SCP-098 is designated as a safe class SCP, which to my understanding indicates that it can be easily contained and is unable to escape said containment on its own. No other safe class SCP is able to self-breach except this one. The reason for SCP-098 self-breaching also makes very little sense in its own right. "SCP-098 - SCP-098 must be given a Class D to perform surgery on every 15minutes. If no Class D is provided, SCP-098 will break down its door." SCP-098 needs D class for surgery? I mean, you could argue that its sharp mandables/arms/whatever are like scalpels, but no where is it stated that SCP-098 performs "surgery" on its prey. What are the advantages of having this?: Would make more sense lore wise Who is it mainly for?: Research Branch I would guess? Links to any content: http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-098
  15. I like the test idea, but I would strongly suggest using Google Docs or some other form of documentation to write down your future tests.

  19. Love the test idea! Very creative. Your writing is also very good, with only minor spelling errors. I would recommend to try to improve the presentation of your document, because it's a bit bland currently. Perhaps some more colour or some pictures would help

  24. Hello Jr Researcher Victor, Your experiment seems to be lacking a question. What question was your research supposed to answer? Your test seems to have provided you with some very abnormal results, but without a central goal to answer during the test you can quickly lose track of what your research is trying to accomplish. Best of luck in your next tests. - K
