  1. Lmaoooo finally someone has brought this to light. 682 used to be my favorite SCP to play and then they raised the cooldown on his SWEP while making the ttk lower. Destroyed him, but no one complained because SCPs are seen as more of an annoyance than a part of the RP. 682 is one of the strongest SCPs in lore and close combat should mean certain death, but it doesn't. its easier to get in his face, spray and jump. Even if your perfect with your SWEP (which is hard with all the commotion going on while getting ganged on) you have to rely on the server to register the hit. I believe attack speed would be better than health. Hes quite a tank as is. You still have to pump him full of lead and he heals (sometimes), but is practically harmless. It would give you more leeway for server fuck ups and even the score on ttk as the server wide buff did nothing to one hit classes. +Support i beg
  2. -/+ Support This would certainly add more depth and fun to plenty of SCP situations. I personally enjoy the little RP moments I get when play on a intelligent SCPs. Mindlessly killing can get old and isnt lore accurate or reasonable. Many SCPs are intelligent beings (though hateful) and should act like it. With that being said it is almost impossible to implement without it becoming a problem. SCPs and D-class already have a same common enemy and in most cases want the others help anyway. To allow them to team openly and freely will cause hell. The line between Mutual benefiting and trolling the foundation will be a blurry mess. Id love to see it, but idk how it would be implemented in a good way.
  3. Would allow for a more fun "chase" when encountering 106. Instead of him just walking behind you slowly hoping to catch you on a door, he can ambush or cut you off. Adds more depth to the hunter and hunted. Only downside I could see is it being super abusable. The ability to pop out of a wall and immediately nab someone would be annoying and has little counterplay. +support
  4. Cant imagine there is a reason not too. Ive seen suggestions with high community feedback get denied without an explanation (or at least one im aware of). Having a definitive reason for denial would help people better their suggestions. A flat copy a paste gives literally nothing. It might as well just say "denied" as the reasons given could be one, all, or none of them. +Support
  5. I also believed that throwing d-class into a 682 with no acid didn't count as feeding. I wasn't trying to loophole just following motd even if a little too literally, figured there was a reason for the line. Its pointless at best and misleading at worst. Why not get rid of it unless it has meaning? +support

Steam Name: SnoTheWolf Ingame Name: SnoTheWolf SteamID: STEAM_0:0:104601532 Ban Length: 7 days Admin that Banned you: DSD Spire Reason for Ban: FailRP x6, RDM, and ARDM Dispute: I'm far from a perfect player. I have my fair share of run-ins with staff and carry a lot of warns with my name. Now, be that as it may, I do genuinely care about he well-being of the server and would do no ACTUAL harm to it or its players. It was downtime and everyone involved, or so I thought, was consenting. I only wish the video that showed my actions had better in-game audio as for the most part I remember laughs from everyone involved (excluding a few). I apologize to anyone whose fun I may have affected. With that being said, I still did break the rules. I'm not arguing whether or not I deserve punishment, but a week is no short time. This is currently the only Gmod server I play on. Perhaps something lower than 7 days can be given? If my words failed to sway your opinion, I understand, all I'm asking is for consideration. Thank You.
  7. Rank: Junior Researcher Clearance Level: 2 List of Personnel involved in testing: Junior Researcher Sno Level D personnel involved: D-6173(Owen_richardson), D-2893(Trishdenyscain) SCP: SCP-999 Errors and/or safety hazards: Working with unrestrained D-Class Question: Can SCP-999 be a useful tool in controlling the D-Class Population? Background Research: SCP-999 is a sentient mass of an unknown orange substance. SCP-999 acts friendly and cheerful. This behavior is often referred to as "dog-like". Subjects who come in contact with SCP-999 experience a pleasant and pacifying effect. Hypothesis: When asked SCP-999 can prevent Class-D from engaging in violent behavior. Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): N/A Analysis and Conclusion: 2 D-Class were placed in an empty medium sized room. Both were offered freedom and a large some of money in exchange for terminating the other through any means necessary. After assuring the D-Class were thoroughly convinced of the offer and to do harm to one another, both were unrestrained and placed in opposite corners of the room. Both D-Class were then instructed to begin when the door shut. SCP-999 is then let into the room with the instructions to convince the D-Class to not fight. All foundation personnel evacuate the room and the door is shut. After approximately 60 seconds the door is opened. Both D-Class were standing on each side of the room while SCP-999 stood loosely in the middle. SCP-999 was told to leave. The D-Class were informed that no reward will be given, due to non-participation. When asked why they refused to fight they explained SCP-999 "told them not to". Neither could explain why they would listen to SCP-999 before foundation staff or why they listened to SCP-999 at all. D-2893 expressed regret saying if given the chance again he would attack D-6173. After, the D-class were escorted to D-Block. SCP-999 seems to be able to rapidly pacify people. The effect, at least in this instance, is temporary and only lasts through SCP-999s presence. The effect seems to also be somewhat uncontrollable, as after the effect wore off neither could explain their actions. Do your results align with your hypothesis?: Yes, SCP-999 was successful at controlling violent behavior in more than one subject quickly. However, with the effect being so temporary its hard to say if it will be of tactile use.
