Level D Personnel involved(if any): D class 7844 Question/Preferred Outcome: Will SCP - 066 be able to find a person only by a recording of that person saying Erick/Derick? As weird as this may sound, if this proves to be the case it could open up a whole new possibility of finding lost or escaped D class personnel while also stunning the escapee with SCP - 066 ability. Risks/Safety Precautions: SCP - 066 may immediately respond to the recording with the loud sound injuring all parties. Or worse SCP - 066 may try to get to the D class in a straight line causing them to run into the walls. All personnel including D class will be given Sound-resistant Headsets to allow communication between all involved parties without injurie to personnel. Background Research: SCP - 066 is known to wander around repeating a simple phrase, Erick/Derick. If a person repeats the phrase SCP - 066 will initiate a loud blasting music that may cause temporary hearing loss and pain. Labor/Work being used: SCP - 066 Will be placed in a hallway with 5 rooms with a D class placed in one of the rooms. A recording of the D class saying the select phrase will be played. SCP - 066 will be tasked with finding the D class personnel only by hearing the recording played. Observation: (note: For the duration of this log, Class D 7844 will be referred to as CD-7844 and Junior Researcher Hazmat W will be referred to as JR Hazmat W). CD-7844 was placed in a room and recorded saying the phrase that triggers SCP - 066. After gathering the recording, the RIS unit hid CD-7844 in a room other than the one recorded in. JR Hazmat W then played the recording of the D class after the RIS hid the D class. SCP - 066 repeated their phrase then after a couple of seconds SCP - 066 moved toward the door with CD-7844. After we opened the door, SCP - 066 did not produce the loud music. But instead went to the side of the D class and stared at them with all visible eyes. The test was ended with SCP - 066 returned to their box, and CD-7844 taken to medical for amnestic before being brought back to D block by the RIS Unit 23. Conclusion: Test was Semi-successful. SCP - 066 was able to find CD-7844, but did not activate its ability. It is unknown why it didn’t activate. This conclusion has led to new testing ideas ranging from “Why SCP - 066s ability didn’t activate?”, to “How far SCP - 066 will go to find the person?”. In full conclusion this test has opened up more questions that require answering to see if SCP - 066 is capable of the preferred outcome for the question listed above. Well, I'm not writing this to talk about the past. Knowing this job, you're leaving with memories you want to both keep and forget. The machine grows black biomechanical legs and tentacles over it's metal shielding, the vending machine at this time is now 13 feet tall. The men with guns start to shoot the machine but the bullets bounce off Green man 4: What the hell is this thing?! York starts to run from the machine heading towards a table with his gun. The machine trying to follow York gets hit by a laser that comes from one of the green men. The orange woman starts to scream at the machine causing the glass around everyone to break wile also causing the machine to fall backwards. The machine then stops moving Dave: Did we get it? 2 men in green walk towards the machine; after 2 minutes of silence, black cybernetic tentacles lung out of the ground and grab the 2 men and rip them in half with there legs being thrown across the room Orange women: Time to leave, get your things and go! Orange man 2: We were told to stay here. Orange women: Does it look safe to stay here? Everyone starts to grab there guns and belongings and runs towards a hallway. 6 cybernetic tentacles lung out and grab 1 of the green men along with both the orange men and pulls them toward the vending machine which now looks like a giant metal box with sharp glass teeth and around 30 spring like tongues. The 3 men are shooting the tentacles and the metal box with bullets, the green man spits acid at the tentacle holding him and it drops him into the glass teeth of the metal box. A loud crunch can be heard from where the machine is. They all run towards another hallway and see a stairway. The tentacles are flowing out of the room following the 5; the group opens the stairway and starts running up the stairs hoping to find a way out of the outpost. While running the tentacles break down the door to the stairwell and rush after the group. One of the green men points his hand at the tentacles and shoots a giant beam of fire at the tentacles causing them to retract. There are holes all over the roof and a regular vending machine next to the man. The vending machine was surrounded by blood and body parts. The inside of the machine was filled with blood and organs and body parts shoved into the slots where you would think a bag of chips would be. The helicopter finds a helicopter pad on the roof strangely undamaged as if whatever caused the damage to the building wanted someone to land here. When the helicopter landed the man fell to his knees and fell back onto his hands relieved that the hell he was put through would finally be done with. The MTF units stormed out of the helicopter and pointed their guns at the man who was laying on his hands wearing a ripped up Hands uniform. Echo-8: Put your hands on your head and stand up. The man wearing the hands uniform stands up and struggles to put his hands on his head; The MTF look at each other than the man Echo-8: Are you ok? What happened here? The room should be furnished with a twin sized bed, a brown cotton recliner, a small coffee table, a 13 inch by 13 inch TV, a single standing lamp, 1 double outlet, a small wood drawer filled with white shirts, grey pants, and men's underwear. W is to be held at Site-05 and to be put in the same sleeping quarters as the rest of the research team located on site. Description: W017 is a 5 foot 11 inch Caucasian male with black hair, somewhere in the mid 20s. No anomalistic abilities can be found by W017. W017 although itself shows no anomalistic behavior, W017 true name is highly dangerous. Saying W017 true name will cause you to either have 72 hours of extreme bad luck, or to cause the person who said the name to have a brutal/extremely gruesome death. 20 minutes after saying W017s true name, you will start to see anomalistic reality bending behavior. This anomalistic behavior will try to kill who ever said the name through any means, even changing the compounds of items around the vicinity to try and kill the individual. Getting in the way of a changed item will result in that person also being attacked by said item. Once the individual who said the name is killed the item will change back into it's original form leave no traces of any anomalistic behavior behind. W017 seems to have no control over it's anomalistic nature and says that the best way to stop it from happening, is to just not say the name. W017 was found after the GOC contacted the Foundation for help against a Serpent's hand raid against one of their outposts. The main reason for contacting the foundation was because foundation agents were at the outpost planning a conjoined attack against a [DATA EXPUNGED] class SCP that they have been unable to contain. W017 was found on top of a GOC outpost located in [DATA EXPUNGED] wearing a torn up Serpent's hand uniform. W017 was found with multiple human body parts scattered around the ground near him. A vending machine was also found near W017 with multiple body parts and organs shoved inside it. But after several tests to see if the vending machine had any anomalies it was deemed "Just a regular vending machine.". W017 when confronted was seen to have multiple cuts, scars, and burns on his body. MTF Unit [Expunged] was tasked with escorting W017 onto the helicopter and to Site [Expunged]. MTF Unit [Expunged] said that W017 called itself “W”. When asked if it had another name it just said “no”. W017 refused to answer any other questions. It seems W017 was traumatized by what ever happened. SCP classification is still underway. Addendum W017-1: We found the true Identity of W017, should be easy to send him home now. I never understand why the Serpent's hand would recruit a regular person, but seeing this man's connections sure as hell says a lot. It also seems he has a Masters Degree in Virology, a bachelors in Microbiology, and another bachelors in Epidemiology. I’ve requested that he be put on the Sites research team as this site mainly deals with disease/infectious type SCPs. But the site administrators have chosen to give him class A anesthetics and send him home in 6 days. Such a waste of a good researcher. Addendum W017-2: One of the research team was found out to be a CI spy. The way we found him was..a bit weird. He was found dead, his insides exploded all over the wall with gallons of SCP-686 mixed into the wall as well. Turns out that he contaminated the coffee in the break room with SCP-686 and had somehow infected himself. Not only that but it seems that anyone who knew the true identity of W017 had the effects of SCP-686 increased drastically and most are exploding with this milk like substance going everywhere along with there guts. But strangely W017 also drank the coffee today and doesn’t seem to have any effects happening. Site administrators have decided to keep W017 here longer until we are for sure he doesn’t have any abilities. As for the rest of the infected staff, they are being handled. Addendum W017-3: After multiple tests with SCPs related to disease/infections, it seems W017 is mainly immune to them but not all of them as we did have to use SCP-500 to cure him of [Expunged]. Not only that but it seems those who know the name of W017 will either have something drastically bad happen to them or they will die from anomalistic means. After testing this with D class it was found that knowing the name doesn’t kill or activate the anomalistic ability, saying the name on the other hand activates the anomalistic abilities. Saying W017s name will cause either the individual to have what I can only call massive amounts of bad luck for up to 72 hours going from falling over all day, to being having extreme burn marks, cuts, and bruises to the point that life support is required to keep the individual alive. The other alternative is a brutal anomalistic death. The first thing that may happen is reality will start to bend around random objects making them more hostile/dangerous towards the person who said the name including changing an SCPs effects on a person, altering a toaster into a killer ninja turtle, and a toothbrush into a heat seeking knife. After the individual who said the name is killed the item affected by the bending reality will result back to it's regular state. W017 seems to have no control over what happens. W017 doesn’t seem to be affected by its own name's anomalistic abilities. Everyone on site has given him the nickname of W. I will update if any other things are found. I'm leaving shock and mostly the server for along time or forever counting on time. Me retiring has nothing to do with shock itself. I've recently been helping a friend with a project they have and I want to put more time into the project. I know this sounds like a dumb if not terrible reason to retire from shock but I think assisting others is a good reason to make time. Name: Shock MSG M 1300 What do you want to see? - I want to see cameras in each cell in brig with the TV's they are connected to in the spot that says "Arrest History" since that spot has literally nothing in it and has no use. Why should we add it? - This will allow shock and command pick out cells for event characters to enter, It will allow VCMDR+ find troopers easily without the need to open every cell in brig to find them. What are the advantages of having this? - It would allow us to find prisoners easily, along with let us see how they are glitching/exploiting out of their cells, what they are doing in those cells, and see which cells are occupied and unoccupied for when we need to put event characters in brig for questioning/Interrogation. Who is it mainly for? - Shock, Naval, and any VCMDR+ who wants one of their troops freed from brig. Links to any content - In the SCP:RP GMs and Mods are able to spawn these TV's that aren't linked to any cameras. Research Administrator W Another amazing test but I see one key factor in lore forgotten in this Document, that is that after a certain amount of fuel is given to SCP 457 it will split into 2 instances of SCP 457. Seeing as how you used 2 human corpses to test on SCP 457 who was intelligent at the time to know that fire extinguishers could hurt it is a possible duplication hazard. They could use this information and try to breach our site in to capture SCP 096 or SCP 096-2 in order to try and recreate the effects and make super soldiers. The main problem is the Chaos Insurgency as we have found spies inside the Foundation before and with knowledge of how to create SCP 096-2 they could make themselves into instances of SCP 096-2 and have better efforts at taking Facilities. With this knowledge and as stated in the report above, SCP 096-2 may just be playing a long con to plan out an escape or way to breach its fellow SCP 096 and escape together which if happens could cause an XK-class scenario world ending event. Pictures were amazing (I loved the added descriptions for each picture.).
