Timezone: Pacific Standard
What rank are you applying for? Trial-Mod.
Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum) I am interested in helping out the staff team and also the community as a whole, I want to bring my ideas to the table to hopefully make an impact on how the server is ran, I work during the day but I make a perfect nighttime staff member to make sure the server isnt too chaotic while its in downtime and so people can still have some fun while on, I notice when it hits that hour people do get mingy which I think is tolerable to an extent when it is in downtime, but the minginess that I see can inhibit those who want to actually do things when its downtime.
Select any two of the following four questions to answer for this section. Please note, in the scenario questions we are not expecting perfect answers. We are accessing your critical thinking skills, your ability to use the staff handbook, and come to reasonable conclusions.
Q1: How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? First I would try to de-escalate the situation, and asking them not to curse, if they continue to curse and be disrespectful I gag them for the duration of the sit; or they have calmed down and are willing to talk peacefully. Once we talk and figure out why they did what they did, and give them the proper punishment.
Q2: You are involved in a staff sit that involves 5 different players. The players begin to get frustrated and the sit becomes very toxic and unproductive. What would you do in this situation? Separate parties, take each player and place them away from each other if they try to run towards the other players i freeze them until I can get everyones story.
Q3: In your opinion, what is the best way to handle a situation involving a player that clearly does not care about the punishments they are receiving? Honestly, this sounds like a player who doesnt care about the rules, and they can be a hard person to deal with, personally I'd ban them for a short period of time with a link to the rules and tell them to comeback when they are familar or willing to play with our rules, if they dont ban for a longer period of time, if you look at it, its really just the same as NITRP, except No Intent to Obey The Rules.
Q4: There is a player abusing a known bug, and he has been reported to staff. He swears he followed the server rules when you talk with him. What's the best way to handle this? I need to see him abusing the bug in person so I'd ghost watch him or spectate to gather evidence once i see him abusing the bug, I'd bring him tell him he can't abuse the bug if caught again it will result in a ban for abusing an glitch in the server.
