(Explain): 9.5  Why should we allow you to have the position? (At least 300 words): When I read this question I realized that there was so much that could be said to answer this question. I could point to my experience, my dedication, my drive, how funny I am and how trustworthy I am. (I can’t confirm that the last two points are true, but I like to think that they are). I’ll start off by expanding on my points listed above. I don’t want to sound like I’m bragging, but I’ve been here for awhile, and I’ve filled many positions: I’ve led branches, I’ve staffed, etc. What I’m trying to say is that I’ve been here almost as long as Igneous, and I remain dedicated. I know I’m writing this application as a joke, but I’m also writing it in honor of a friend and mentor, Mike, so (and this might sound crazy) I’ve rewritten this thing about eight times so far. That’s a great show of dedication, lol. Anyways time to continue, I strive to be the best. Most of my drive comes out of spite, which a lot of people will tell you is a bad thing, but my goal is to be number one, and I want to help as many people as possible. When I say that I’m driven by spite, I mean that others telling me I can’t do something only makes me want to do it even more. When I started CI, I would raid the foundation as a single person, and everyone would tell me your branch will never grow, we’re too strong. I didn’t listen (yes weird flex, I know). I like to think that I helped turn it into what it is today, I can’t claim credit for all of it though because many people, better people than I am, have passed through CI and done so much more than I could even claim I’ve ever done. See my humility there, clearly the signs of someone fit for leadership. (At least 150 words): This is a nice question, my policy on being high command is that we’re now the administrators, not the people whose job is leading the enlisted. We deal with issues between command and help out command/branch leaders, but we shouldn’t step in. Similar to laissez-faire economics, we need to be hands free until we don’t need to be. There is no perfect method, but I believe that giving branch leaders, who know their branch members, more breathing room will allow the branch to grow. I, of course, will always be there for people who need me. (I’ve never been much of a stickler for people violating chain of command to speak with me, unless I request that they don’t). So, to quickly recap because I need more words, I will be there for the foundation and branches when they need me, but I will give branch leaders breathing room. I will also oversee people such as the (D)SD to make sure that they’re doing their jobs properly. In my system, which is what we kinda have currently, branch leaders manage the branch, the SD’s manage the Directors, and the O5 steps in where they’re needed. I’m on most days and nights for a pretty long time. I’ll almost always be available when called, especially due to coronacation. Do not make an SOP, I will be doing that myself (I am O5-01). Also, there are going to only be five four positions open (O2 through O4). Keep in mind we will not fill all these spots instantly though. These positions will be very selective! 10-4, read and understood.

Gunther the reason that I’m -supporting and I believe most people are -supporting is because all props on this server act as riot shields, so why remove something that can be used for RP. If we continue with this argument we’d have to blacklist every single prop. That’s my take on it, but your opinion is valid either way.

-support on being able to break the gates. That’d be too OP from a gameplay standpoint because, yes 682 is very strong, and in theory should be rc’d before they reach gate A, but if they breach surface then it’s a defcon 1 and we don’t want more of those.

Back when I was in A1 I loved working as the red right hand. Surprisingly, I enjoy guarding VIP’s. I love this community, I feel like I say this in every single app I write lol, and I feel like this is a way to get involved with the very nice O5 team (tho Rang will forever be an Aussie so…). For those who don’t know, I’ve almost always played only CI, so this will be a great way for me to meet different people who play as MTF. I’ve been on this server since Mike was manager, if that’s not a testament to show how much I love this server, then I don’t what is. I think it would be fun to be red right hand again. Jesus lol, Aleks you’ve gotta improve on this format, but overall I do slightly agree with Hoovy. You have only been back for a day after a long LOA/MIA, but you’ve also proven that you’re a great, mature guy. This is because you’re a CMDR and you’re dedicated to GL. I don’t believe you should apply immediately after a long LOA, but you definitely are qualified to on the staff team. +/- support.

The reason for this is because CI stand no chance. There isn’t that much of an equal combat level because with 1 nitro they can take out 5 of us. That’s my argument.

No what I’m saying is that if you get yourself down to 10hp you’ve in essence done a suicide bombing. I don’t mean taking a tiny amount of damage because you were on the edge of the blast explosion. Now, I’m going on the rule that they can’t suicide bomb because if they could CI wouldn’t stand a chance. With 1 bomb they can take out 5 people who are all on full hp. There is no CI job that can even come close to doing that. I don’t want to start a fight, but I want to expand the definition of suicide bombing to make it more fair for CI.

+support just because they don’t die doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t be considered suicide bombing. If they’re left with 10 hp they’ve essentially suicide bombed and IRL would’ve blown their legs off. It’s not fair to CI that they can just bomb us from close range. Either don’t allow this or give CI an explosive expert that will be just as toxic.

What you want to see? - I would like to see the demolition expert get nerfed. Why should we add it? - I’m a CI CPT and my job has 175 health and 150 armor. The nitro has the ability to 1 shot me. When I’m raiding, demo experts have the ability to wipe us out with no way of truly defending ourselves from it. What are the advantages of having this? - Making it more fair for CI. Who is it mainly for? - CI Links to any content - Not applicable Extra: I’m also in support of propane’s suggestion, and believe that if mine is accepted so should his. I was on the same raid where the demo expert had 10 hp left. That’s not fair at all.

-/+support Koala, I’ll admit that I don’t know the new you as well as the old you, but you used to fret and complain about the simplest of things and you had a sort of scorched earth view, in my opinion. Considering this, I admit that it’s been awhile and people can change. Based on my past interactions with you I would give it just a -support, but I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt so -/+ support.

I would not like to see CI to be able use 999 for healing because we have a medical sub-branch which is dying out command spawns with a medkit and plenty buy their own as well. Furthermore, d-class would not have an RP reason for having candy on them, they’re maximum security prisoners on death row.

I’d like to see you improve activity, become more known, and disclose this “issue” if possible before I’m willing to say +support.

+support What I believe should happen is the “RAM” warn being removed and a new warn being issued for RDA.

If I recall correctly, it had the slowest firing rates of what we tested, so I’d say the damage boost would compensate. I believe Starr’s reasoning for slightly lowering the XM’s damage is because it can fire its whole clip in aprx. 2.8 seconds.

I disagree with the XM damage decrease because if you recall it took 9 body shots to kill you from mid range. (Something like 7 seconds due to slow reload). Overall, +support
