  4. They have 682 a new SWEP. For this to happen the weapons would need to be remade/replaced.
  5. Not necessarily, even with the recent suspension of the no killing non-combatants rule, we still are trying to go out of our way to not kill you guys. The only blood baths that happen in medbay are MTF attacking CI and vice versa.
  6. The issue is that the current model takes up a fair bit of space. +support

    ok bye

Oh this is sad I’m gonna miss you bb, but I hope you do what’s best for you.
  8. They don’t protect medical staff and they don’t only attack when provoked. My suggestion is to make it so they only attack when provoked.
  9. Massive +support as someone who is definitely an unbiased 3rd party I can’t wait to see massive activity and big raids on E4
  10. I’m not arguing against a position like a combat medic existing, each branch (CI included) already has one. What I’m saying is (let’s use your example of combat medics) you don’t become a combat medic by joining a hospital. You become a combat medic by first joining the military (in this scenario MTF) and then getting further training. It’s not unreasonable to believe that they might have some self-defense training due to the nature of where they work (Site-05 is dangerous), but l don’t believe it makes sense for medical to have their own watered down MTF unit. I will admit I am attempting to make them a glorified field medic, but this is because I don’t believe it makes sense for them to exist. CI is no longer allowed to kill medical/utility/whatever non-combatant you want to name, and GENSEC exists to protect medical from d-class, so essentially ACM is a watered down combination of GENSEC and Nu7 that doesn’t make sense to me.
  11. -support Reasons above, but I will add this: Beanz wrote this on a similar suggestion, “It is unrealistic to expect to get through every CI raid unscathed ...” I’d link this post, but it got hidden by the man who posted it. CI are an elite fighting force, but they also need to partially stealth their jobs because of all the MTF units that the foundation can throw at them, why would they risk leaving any witnesses, especially someone like a lowly janitor? May I remind you that in lore CI believe in creating the perfect humanity and aren’t above killing anyone (including their own men) to create their version of a utopia. CI completely lacks morals, so why would they allow anyone to call them out.
  12. —MOVED TO CORRECT SPOT— and to answer your question they were removed because of lag and how they were OP. Why are you asking now, they’ve been gone for awhile.

    Elevator - Denied

(From my experience) the elevator doesn’t allow you to “just push the button” unless the person underneath is fully crouched. Yes whining happens, but it’s also making it more difficult for staff. It would be much easier if there was either a prop or the elevator killed people.
  14. I don’t mean to cause a fight, but by your logic then why do you guys need a special forces comms for individual task forces.
  15. Not a thing, I’m not E4 but I constantly see E4 doing /CI (E4) (message) similar to how /advert (insert specific comms) used to work. It would definitely be a nice addition.
  16. They are currently (in my opinion) watered down MTF, I would like them to look like a clash between RIG and field medic, which I understand many people don’t want, I just don’t think they have a role as watered down MTF/GENSEC.
  17. You’re misreading the suggestion, they ARE a combat class and I’m suggesting to make it a self defense class.
  18. What you want to see? - It simply doesn’t make sense for utility to be combative, so I would like to see ACM no longer viewed as a combat class and more of a “self defense” class. Why should we add it? - I’ve made my opinion clear on utility being combatants and you can all give me hate for this, but I don’t think utility has a role in being watered down MTF, and therefore I don’t think ACM should be a glorified security job. For example, today I was flying around spectating people as I do on staff and I see 3 ACM at the end of d-block hallway with an awp just shooting in, I don’t think that should be medical’s role. Furthermore, CI no longer attack utility and there is a branch dedicated to stopping CI (O-9) and one of E11’s biggest jobs is stopping CI. It’s unneeded and at this point they’ve turned into GENSEC with a medkit. Yes, there is an argument that MTF needs a mobile medic and this class fulfills it more than a regular field medic can, but MTF already have a medical job (except E11). What are the advantages of having this? - I think it doesn’t make sense for the position to exist, while I recognize that medical deserves their level job I just don’t think this is it. The advantage would be that it simply makes sense. Who is it mainly for? - just for people who don’t believe it makes sense for any utility to be a combatant class. It also helps Nu7 because ACM takes away one of their main jobs which is reinforcing d-block, we’ve gotta give Nu7 some love. Links to any content - N/A Anyways I’m prob about to lose a bunch of rep which makes me sad but whatever, I don’t mean this as a shitpost this is my actual opinion. Please leave a +/- support and don’t start a fight. (EDIT): many people have commented that it is currently a self defense class, but this is false. Please understand that this is a combat class similar to MTF (according to both Hoovy and Inaccurate).
  19. -support this report shouldn’t be a thing. Staff are completely allowed to watch RP situations as they unfold. He shouldn’t have gotten too close, but he is allowed to “hover over d-block.” This looks to me like a petty report, yes he should possibly be talked to, but “removal from the staff team” is completely unwarranted and I think you have some sort of bias. The punishment should fit the crime, and he doesn’t deserve any real punishment.

  22. +/- support I would like this, but this would be practically worthless because MTF spawn at gate B. I’ve been shot by MTF in their spawn when I was coming out of gate B, and I don’t think CI would be able to use this unless MTF spawn were moved.
  23. Camo despite the “combat” in the name I recall many have said to me that they’re a “none combat” class who should only fight in self defense. D-Class crossing the red line, yes it would be horrible for medical’s level class to be a glorified field medic, but at the moment they’re a glorified security. +support CI actually doesn’t shoot ACM’s as we’ve been assured that they qualify for being non-combatants, the only time I’ve fought an ACM is when I was taking a tech hostage and they attacked ME first. (EDIT): alrighty after review I was mistaken and ACM are a combat class, I misunderstood that which I apologize for. I still don’t believe utility should have a combat class, but at the moment they are a combat class so -support
  24. +support obvious rule infraction, but why wasn’t this handled in game, were there no staff on?
