  1. *enters HOS office with fubar in hand* "Lets fucking go"
  2. Name: TwoSix Rank: Retired HOS, Reserves COL FTO Rank (If Applicable, SGT+): JFTO, FTO, SFTO, DHFTO, HFTO, OFTO Why should you retain your rank (WO+ must respond | 150+ words): I don't know who this is even for, honestly anyone that gets a kick out of edgy jokes, but its ya boi TwoSix. Back at it minging around. Gotta follow the format so here it is. I should retain my rank for no apparent reason. I spent 7 months of my life on this server and honestly, it wasn't really worth it. It was fun at first but then once you become "command" member, you willfully admit yourself into slave labor. The only fun parts about the job are the small moments. Casual talk in the hallways, sitting at the post with no action, making a run to the armory, the times that actually give the players RP, without any effort. There is too many rules, too many ranks, and too much ego pushing. The point of a game is to have fun, and if there is too many barriers and leaps to cross, it isn't any fun. My goal when I was HOS was to make everything simple, and I did. I kept everything in order, the roster was a work of art, and all documents were accurate. But I see that I was the only one that was able to do that. If the question is being wondered, I'm not coming back. May the powers that be decide whether or not to keep my reserves rank. It was already removed once, I wouldn't be surprised if it was removed again. Any Notes, Questions, or Concerns?: This mainly applies to Killaz, but anyone can take this advice too. Being the Head of a GMod SCPRP Branch honestly sounds like a bad joke. So don't try playing it as anything other than one. Take is moderately seriously, but don't be over bearing either. "High Command" as it is called, was one of the funnest times of my life in GMod, but it doesn't have a future. It doesn't apply to anything outside of the game. I lost more than I wanted working for nothing. Lost IRL friends, distanced by my family, failed college classes, fell into depression, etc. Being a fictional rank was more taxing than I thought and not many appreciated my efforts—even after I was gone. All the work I put into the branch was undone, mainly because it needed the constant attention that noone else would put in. One day you're going to have to pass the torch and let your legacy rest in stone. Just don't leave on a bad note. PS: I've thought about coming back, but there are a couple of realizations that have shot down the idea. I have to focus on my life and what is best for me, and worrying about a game over my life and relationship is not healthy at all. And the other thing is that even if I could manage depression and real life, noone would want me to stay. Peace out to everyone that is an OG, which at this point isn't many. See ya around @Rangiatea and @bdogz1, to the best of times. PSS: This is how you really have fun. I have a lot more, but this is just some of the highlights.
  3. Hmm, just add some festive props in D Block. That should do well enough.
  4. Boi, really? Security just needs a leader to look up to and currently you have Killaz as DHOS. You dont always need a HOS to get things done, just someone who knows what they are doing and I have faith that Killaz knows what to do. The amount of work that goes into being HOS is more than you could ever know. Just let things ride out because last time I checked, nothing was on fire yet. Just keep doing your job, do it well, and dont complain about it and everything will be fine. That's what I did as a SGT and continued to work for me all the way up through HOS. Stay frosty ~Retired HOS TwoSix
  5. Well guys, this one is for real. This is my time for me to step down and pass over power to the next generation of Command. I'm not leaving on a sad note, or being forced out, but rather this is my time for me to move on with my life. This server has been good to me, and I have enjoyed working for this branch as long as I have. I don't want to carry this on too long but I would like to say thank you. Thank you to every command member that I have worked for, alongside, and above me. It wouldn't have been the same without you. Thank you to this branch that I have learned to call home. The thousands of hours I have invested in Security has definitely been worthwhile. These people are the really special boys: Rangiatea: You Aussie Kiwi, keep being the Head Admin minge that you are. Jeffe: ??? Slade: Bone? Daedran: I love the times when we were SM's and tag teaming Riot Control in D Block, those were the best. "Teamwork makes the Dreamwork" Starr: I will capitalize the S in your name "Starr's Furry" There is many people I could include, like actual dozens, but I want to keep this brief. Don't want to make this harder then it already is. These command should be able to take over without burning things down, I have faith. A final message to everyone. Thank you. I will miss you all.
  6. "2. You must be a Captain for a minimum of 1 month before applying."
  7. Say sike. SAY SIKE. Why have you done this? We need you to PK people. In all seriousness, you will be missed. Long live ??
  8. JJ, I'm sad to see you go, but I hope you do well. Take care old friend.
  9. There is so much documentation in Security that needs to be updated daily, what goes on in D Block could really not matter. If you do good, you get promoted. If you do bad, you get removed. We don't need a form filled out daily, it is just way too much work.
  10. This would be a massive hindrance and waste of time. We just don't need it. There is already enough documentation and this is definitely not needed.
  11. A form of this Update has been accepted, with most of the benefits listed, so I retract my statement for the following Update below. What you want to see? - I would like to see the rules for Upper D Block to be changed drastically. At the current moment, Security has to hold Upper D Block behind a fence with stationary barricades and just slaughter Class D at almost every moment of the day. Very few branches are allowed into D Block mainly because the way Upper D Block is designed. Researchers and Utility may come in at limited times, but usually cause distractions and allow Class D to escape. Security are stuck in D Block shooting Class D all the time, causing many people to leave for the fact that it is not a entertaining job. So currently there is no real RP that can happen because it is in a constant state of gunfire because Class D have access to the majority of the largest room on the map with very limited rules. My suggestion is this, restrict access of Class D to Upper D Block and remove a majority of the fortifications in Upper. Why should we add it? - This suggestion should be added for a variety of reasons. Class D personnel have access to a large room as is and having them be so close to breaching at all times is not lore friendly—versus being locked in cells unless for testing. It is not realistic to have people join the server and just sit in the cells but free roam access is not any better. Lower D Block should be for Class D and Upper should be for Foundation Personnel. Forcing Class D to be in lower, unless for testing, would allow Security to leave D Block more often, instead of sitting in a room for a branch. Having Class D's access restricted would allow Security to have more RP because Security would now be able to go on patrol, escort Foundation personnel more frequently, and be stationed in areas across LCZ/HCZ instead of D Block. This restriction of D Block would also benefit Researchers for the fact that they would be able to enter D Block more frequently, test on Class D more often, and increase the RP between all of the branches involved in D Block. Security would now have to guard Researchers more effectively if they needed Class D, they could get more escorts for tests, as well as just Class D getting more RP from said testing. Utility would also benefit from this because they would now have access to a much larger room in LCZ granting more access to RP, involvement in testing, and interaction with Security in D Block. What are the advantages of having this? - More RP for virtually all branches in LCZ as well as D Class. Upper D Block would essentially become an extension of LCZ rather than D Block. Basically, Security would be able to leave D Block more often as well as Utility and Researchers to enter. Right now, finding active and dedicated Security members is difficult mainly because we can only sit in a room, be insulted, then be forced to wait in another room for 3 minutes quite frequently. If this suggestion was accepted, Security would then have the ability to leave D Block and have more RP, originally designed into the branch. Class D would be slightly restricted but this would then encourage them to work with the Foundation to be used in RP besides going FPS all of the time with Security and MTF. In brief, many branches would have a RP boost for how they would now have to interact with Security and D Class. Who is it mainly for? - Security, though this would benefit other branches like Research and Utility. Links to any content - None.
