  1. You may have not known this, but I do attend high school. School days are Monday to Friday with the weekends off with take-in time at 7:00 AM CST and leaving time at 2:15 PM CST. I also have to go to sleep by 9:00 PM CST on school nights. Because of school taking up my weekdays with classes, homework, projects, etc., it is possible for future absence to occur without early notice, most of which are outside of my control. In addition to school, I still have to worry about my life outside of this RP: with family, friends, activities, other video games, etc. If I am unlucky, it is somewhat possible for these absences to extend past five days with out warning, and I can't really control that. The only reason I was on 24/7 recently is that we are on break until next Monday. I'm not sure about the specifics on how it is determined that one is absent or the effects of being absent, which scares me even more. When I first saw this community, I was instantly hooked. I only started last weekend, and I'm already getting deeper into the community, being as dedicated as time allows it, and working to the point to where I am currently promoted to researcher. If I am absent at some point, just know that in my absence I am wishing I could remain active in this wonderful community. Even if I were absent for over 5 days, there's a 99% chance that I'm still yearning to be active, which I hope you consider before considering me to be no longer an active member of the community. I truly hope you understand that being in high school can cause absence that is totally out of my control, and that I wish to come back online with my position in the ladder of this community remaining intact, for I truly admire the GamingLight SCP RP community. Sincerely, Researcher Zeke Miller (P.S.: Obviously Zeke Miller isn't going to school, its me that is doing that. I just signed with that so you know who I am in game.)
  2. Lore Name: JR Zeke Miller Rank: Junior Researcher Clearance: Level 2 Clearance Personnel Involved: JR Mike (controlled the doors), JR Zeke Miller (Tester), 2 Class D Personnel Class D Involved: 2 SCP: SCP-173 Objective: To see if one non-blinded individual can efficiently cooperate with a blinded individual to prevent the blinded individual from being killed by SCP-173. Setup: Two Class D are brought to SCP-173’s containment chamber. One Class D is blindfolded while the other is not (both still remain in restraints, but not tied to the ground). The doors are closed, with the two Class D and SCP-173 still inside the chamber. After keeping the door closed for 1 minute, the door is opened to observe the results and to escort any remaining Class D out. After the door is closed again, any remaining Class D are to be escorted back to Cell Block D. Observations/Results: When the door was opened, both Class D were still alive. SCP-173 and the two Class D have moved from their initial position, confirming that SCP-173 did attempt to kill the two Class D but has failed to do so. The two Class D were then given Class A anesthetics and were escorted back to Cell Block D. Conclusion: The test was successful. This test proves that if a single individual is blinded for any reason, then it is still possible for that person to survive by receiving help from a non-blinded individual via the non-blinded individual looking at SCP-173 to ensure that the SCP cannot reach the blinded individual. This information can be useful, especially to any Security Staff that may be transporting a blindfolded individual and happen to encounter SCP-173. Errors or Mistakes: This test was the second attempt. In the first attempt, multiple complications occurred that directly affected the testing, resulting in the death of the blindfolded Class D. Afterword, the testing space was properly cleared of any unwanted personnel and the second attempt (the successful one) was tested, with the Class D that survived the interrupted first attempt being retested as the Class D with the blindfold in the second attempt. In addition, this is only one trial, for doing multiple trials of this test may strain resources, so further testing may be required for further clarification. END LOG
