I'm not throwing shade at him directly. I am not saying he has done nothing; he actually has done a lot. But think of it like this if you and another person go up for a promotion and you have been with the company for a while and have had steady great work. Then a new person comes in gives some good ideas and helps out, but you still are making great progress you would feel like shit when that person gets the promo and if you say no I wouldn't you are obviously a kid who hasn't lived life. I know this might come as a surprise because I really gave my all into this game. I worked hard to become a SA and worked hard to become HCMD but due to unexpected reasons I am leaving. I just have some things to say for SMT and I am only going to shoutout the people I was close too but you all are great and make the community better. SMT (in general): I don't expect a response, but I single handedly brought up a problem about a player who has done nothing for over 6 months and all that was done was a strike. I don't think you understand but this game is about progression. Everyone wants to be better than the person next to them and my progress was stopped due to you being blind to see the problem. It's not petty it's just life, I don't think everyone wants to be the SCMD for almost 4 months get moved up to HCMD then this one person who had one good idea gets moved up the next week later to HCMD after being SCMD for 2 weeks. I understand your decision and I will move on with my life but next time pull up the battle metrics and look at who has been at the meetings. It's not all about who can just suggest stuff for an update. Ozzie: Honestly the coolest dude on here. He makes playing this game so fun and is the only adult that is mature. (150 Word Minimum): I have come to terms with this server in the fact that people always come and go. I have stayed around for a long time and really put a lot into making not just medical but the server better as a whole. I tend to help out many people from Medical and other branches on really anything they need. As a staff member I have gotten staff of the month and I have help out many different trial mods in their journey to become great staff members. I think I would be great for the position because I am an active player and involved with everyone. I help when needed and make time for not just Gaminglight problems but also personal problems in real life as well. As a Police officer in IRL I have learned to listen and get the full story first then execute a plan. Scenario questions: Q1: How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you?: I have had this happen to me. I would first bring both to a sit put both on two corners and get their stories. I would check logs and ask for a clip from the reporter or other standby people. If it was true, he was Mass RDMing I would warn and ban because he/she does not care about anything other than Mass RDMIng so we don't need that toxic behavior on the server. Q2: You are involved in a staff sit that involves 5 different players. The players begin to get frustrated and the sit becomes very toxic and unproductive. What would you do in this situation?: I would first get other staff members in the sit and have them get stories and clips from the other people. I check the forums multiple times throughout the day Why do you believe you're qualified to serve as a Forum Diplomat? I would say I am a very active in Gaminglight throughout the server and the forums. I monitor the forums multiple time throughout the day and try to assist people through their problems. As a forum diplomat I can make a bigger impact on the forums and make problems go away easier and help not just SCPRP but Gaminglight as a whole. I have been staffing on SCPRP for a while now and understand the rules and punishments within this position. Would you consider yourself to have good judgement? If so, please describe a situation that required you to make a difficult decision? I would say I have great judgment, like I said I have been on staff for a little while now and have had sits from FailRP to MassRDM and I have taken time to assess the situation at hand and give out punishments or solve the problem in the right manner. I like to make sure I have both sides of the story and make a non-bias decision. I have no problem in asking for help. How would you deal with a situation where a user is spamming in various topics due to getting banned from one of our servers? I would first but the spammer on a "Content Moderation" and make sure that they cannot make any more spam post without approval. Upon doing so I would look at what the person post and hide any post that are inappropriate and do not follow Gaminglight rules. I would then issue the punishment needed and contact my direct supervisor so they can further analyze the problem so that he/she is tracking and if any other punishment is need. How would you deal with a situation where two users are aggressively arguing with each other in a warning appeal? If I find a post where two people are arguing, I would first make sure there was not a punishment already given or the problem was solved. If there is a warning already, I would lock the post and let it be known why it was locked. If nothing was done, I would read the conversation and decide if punishment is need and consult my direct supervisor of what is happening.
