(150+ word minimum): I’d like to start off by talking about my previous removal for inactivity. I do think I deserve a second chance at staff, during that time of inactivity school was starting up again and I was incredibly busy. I take responsibility for that inactivity and think that removal was indeed the best thing to do. After my removal, I did leave the community for a short time. Since then, I have missed gaminglight incredibly, and made the decision to return about a month ago, and was welcomed back to the Secret service by Tom (thanks). Except this time I can be active again in the community as a whole, for good this time around. Moving on from this I first of all believe I am fit for Trial Mod because of my previous experience. I was an Admin on CrixRP (before it shut down) and a former Mod here on GL. I believe that this shows that I do know what I am doing, and am capable of fulfilling what is needed to be a staff member here. If accepted I can be actively logging 2-5 hours on weekdays, and upwards of 5-7+ hours on weekends. I have noticed within my time of being back, that the server is often short staffed, with sometimes 20 players being online with no one on administration. I do believe that I can bring needed activity to the staff team. Another reason I do think that I would make a good member of the staff team is because of responsibility. I consider myself a very responsible person, and if I do something wrong I own up to it instead of trying to fight it, even if I did something wrong. I notice that this is a great quality that most of the GL staff team has, and if I become a member of the staff team I can help contribute to it. Another topic I would like to bring up is maturity, I consider myself to be a decently mature person, and handle situations accordingly. I do not, for example, scream at a player for being annoying during a sit. This is a trait that is required, at least in my opinion of a good staff member to have. Something else I would like to bring to the table is respect, I am an incredibly respectful person, and listen to what my higher ups tell me to do. I do not argue with them when I am expected to do something, it is my role as staff to obey. If I do not think that what they are doing is reasonable, I would go to SMT instead of starting a fight/argument over it and potentially getting in trouble for disobeying a higher up. A final thing I want to discuss as a reason of why I think I would be fit is leadership. Another way I can add to the staff team is through persistence. An example of this coming in handy on staff would be if there were many reports coming in and not many staff on, instead of being overwhelmed and simply hoping off staff, I would do my best to get to the reports quickly and ask more staff to get on. I would not leave the team to go roleplay just because of a few sits and little help, as leaving would make the situation far worse. Finally, I can handle myself well under pressure, no matter how stressful things get I can always think clearly and make the right decision. Overall, I hope that I can become a part of and contribute to this amazing staff team once again. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? I would first, aiming to stop more rdm, bring them to a roof and jail them so that they cannot interefere with RP and rdm once again. I would then, gag them and listen to witness reports and check logs to confirm what they did. Ungag them to check if they have anything to say/defend themselves. If they stop cursing and start paying attention, I would of course listen to their side of the story then go from there. If they continue I will tell them that if they continue they will be minged for massrdm. Afterwards, if they refuse to pay attention and refuse to comply, I would call an Admin+ to minge them for 10k seconds for massrdm.
