  2. Sam's a cool dude and great staff member! -Long Time member -Friendly -Knows rules -Great candidate for SA
  3. +Support Yes Please Great RPer Has experience with Star Wars RP Knows the lore Active I believe he can help make events exciting and entertaining.
  4. Perhaps the new or returning players aren't slackers and you were just too inactive to notice them? I'd recommend focusing on the more positive aspects of your time in MilitaryRP than the bad ones when writing your resignation so you leave on a good note. Either way good luck in whatever you do.
  5. Hes been on hes a pfc Ive seen him on daily.
  6. I'm not big on extra options since I have an Elantra I daily drive not I want a 135i because those things can make some serious power with simple supporting mods and they have pretty durable internals unlike my Subaru lol.
  7. Nice! I had an e30 for a while as a daily driver in high school was nice until I sold it for a miata. Not too big on the older BMWs but I do want to look into trading in my WRX for a 135i.
  8. In-game name: Shock Commander Perry SteamID: STEAM_0:0:47035944 Current Battalion: Shock Security Current ULX rank on StarWarsRP: Senior Mod Current RP rank on StarWarsRP: Commander Have you donated to the server?: Yes $584 How many warns do you have? If you have some explain what happened. (Don't tell us they were false): 2 from myself when I was training T-Mods on MilitaryRP. How would you rate your lore knowledge on a scale 1-10: 7, but I am refreshing myself on the Clone Wars series to better improve my knowledge and understanding of the lore. Have you seen the Star Wars: The Clone Wars tv show?: Yes What is your favorite episode in the show and why?: Episode 1 Season 1 because it has an appearance of Lt. Thire CC-4477 (one my favorite clone troopers) escorting Yoda to Rugosa well before the events of Revenge of the Sith (his first appearance). What do you think you could do to increase the role-play and fun of the server if you did become Gamemaster?: I want to forge events in a way that makes the player feel in control by talking to players on the server when I am in TeamSpeak and getting input on what kind of event they want to see. I also want to try to help the events flow smoothly but also let players mold them to their liking via their decisions and imagination. I want the events to be for and about the players so everyone feels like they are actually experiencing a genuine Star Wars experience much like the movies and TV show. By catering events to our players I can ensure that everyone is having a fun experience and that events do not become stale or repetitive. I also want to allow players to turn the tide of the event in any given moment and want them to not have feel like an event is completely scripted. Using this method of event planning and execution I will be able to make events that do not have a set outcome and therefore let the players feel as if their decisions mold their results. By adding unique lore aspects we can also make outcomes seem less black and white and more of a grey area. Like perhaps we did end up killing a rebel officer but we also suffered the loss of one of our own. Furthermore, I want to help the server in any way I can and as a Gamemaster I will be able to extend a helping hand beyond just RP and Staff and into the event processes which I am familiar with from my experience leading the Event Team on the Gaminglight MilitaryRP. I feel that in time I will be able to help in a fashion that will allow Gamemasters to work together in an efficient and smooth manner so that everyone's input can be put into consideration and nobody feels as if they are left out or have no say in the overall outcome of an event. Lastly, I will make sure I always ask for feedback after an event much like I did on MilitaryRP. I will make sure I talk to people and ask what they liked and did not like so that I can change the way my future events are conducted based on their feedback and constructive criticism. If someone tells me that they disliked my event or something along the lines of that I will not be discouraged but rather let them know that I value their opinion and that I want to know how I can improve in the future. I understand that events will not immediately be great but rather will get better in time and I want to be able to join the Gamemasters and help in the learning and adjustment process of events. Thank you for your consideration for this role and thanks to all of those who reply to this with support or constructive criticism.
  9. +Support Knows what hes doing Has experience as staff Knows tons about star wars Active
  10. +Support Active in the past Knows whats hes doing No warns Hes Wolf Guy
  11. -Support Usually Immature Argued frequently with staff members and higher ups on MilRP Overall not a great candidate for Gamemaster/Staff
  12. What is your in-game name?: Shock Commander Perry What is your steam name?: [GL]eB1ue What is your steam ID?: STEAM_0:0:47035944 Do you have any other experience with staffing?: (If yes, explain) Yes I have experience as a staff member and know the rules in the handbook as well as the responsibilities that come along with my role. In the past I was a Head of Staff on MilitaryRP and hope I can once again join the staff team. What date did you start playing on the community? (roughly) May 20th 2017 What date did you make your forums account? June 5th 2017 Current rank on server (This is a ULX rank ONLY! Not a RP Rank)? Darth How many warns do you have on the server? 2 from MilitaryRP from myself when I was training T-Mods Have you donated? yes over $580 What rank are you applying for? T-Mod Have you read the staff guidelines at You will be tested on it: Yes Timezone: Central Permission (Admin+ need this): n/a Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (Can be any length) I feel as if I deserve this rank because in the past I have proved that I am trusted as a member of staff. I have also been highly active during my past times as a staff member. If selected for staff I will continue to show activity and assure all issues are taken care of in a timely manner. I also understand that as staff we must serve players and offer a calm and collected hand in any problems we may encounter. Furthermore as staff I will be sure and maintain a collected demeanor whenever I encounter a player and be sure and always show them the respect they deserve because players are what keeps Gaminglight alive. I also believe I can offer assistance by being active during later hours and being active whenever I am needed as well as being able to be contacted at all times via forums and steam. I am also currently a Shock Commander and understand that with any power comes responsibility and abuse of that power will result in punishment. Lastly and most importantly I want to become staff to continue to help Gaminglight grow and prevent any problems or toxic players from becoming a problem or affecting the growth of Gaminglight. Thank you for the consideration and thanks to all who read this application and offer a response. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? I would strip them and bring them to me using the !jailtp command and verbally warn them to calm down so I may explain to them that they are in a staff sit and therefore must be calm if they want a chance at avoiding further punishment. If they continued to respond with vulgar language and/or chat spam I would gag and mute them in order to explain to them that this is a semi-seriousRP server with rules and guidelines they must follow if they wish to play. I would then inform them that we have a zero tolerance for staff and player diss. After explaining my part and referring him to the MOTD so he can avoid rule infractions in the future, I would then ungag him and allow him to speak and explain their side. If they continued to respond to me with vulgar language I would issue them a minge for 10,000 seconds (like it states in the handbook) and would warn them for Mass RDM, NITRP and staff disrespect.
