  2. What are you suggesting? - Increase the amount of XP Researchers get from testing on SCPs, mainly to help promote RP on the server and give players more incentive to join Research. The new rules for getting XP could be as followed: Safe Class: 750 Euclid: 1250 Keter: 2000 XK (Mainly for event SCPs): 3000 How would this change better the server? - Helps promote more RP on the server. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - Increases incentive to RP, gross! Who would this change mostly benefit? - Research Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion - N/A

  4. -support 0 disadvantages is far from correct. There is a reason it's only command that can transfer, and why it's a minimum 2 rank demotion to the transfer branch. Prior to the creation of these transfer rules, branch hopping was a common issue on the server. Speaking of 2 rank demotions: this segment of the transfer rules are specifically suited to command, as a 2 rank demotion is far greater in scope in command than it is in enlisted. An E11 SM could transfer to Nu7 and only be demoted to SSGT, a *far* less impactful demotion than something like a Maintenance Manager transferring to Research and being demoted to a Research Supervisor. The former would take you 2-3 weeks to get back to your original rank, the latter would take 2 months at the minimum. If you're being burned out trying to get command, you're either pushing yourself far too hard or just burn out exceedingly easily. Transferring is not a light transaction, certainly not light enough to be accessible to NCO's. Transferring should take effort. It should stay with command.

  5. What you want to see? - a ratio 3 to 1 for police. For every 1 special forces police officer online you must have 3 regular PD Online. (The only time this is not valid is for extreme situations, Bank robbery, Hostage situation) Why should we add it? - PoliceRP is far from what it orignally used to be. This gamemode is supposed to mimic real life somewhat. It is not realistic to have barely any police officers online and just tactical Unit's responding to everything. The server feels very militarized and it creates no RP. All the time I call the Police for a minor crime and heavily armed units in helmets show up. Also the /911 bug will be fixed because you need more than 5 regular PD online for it to work, if the player count falls below it returns the message "There is no police online!". What are the advantages of having this? - It creates more realistic RP. create's the presence of a UNITED police as you see the same uniforms and cars patrolling around versus 5 different factions. It forces balance on the server in terms of combat. So criminals or citizens are not swarmed by tactical Units 24/7. Fixes the /911 Bug Who is it mainly for? - The entire server, brings it back to its core. Links to any content - none needed.

  6. I enjoyed my time in USMS but again dealing with some Irl stuff not sure if when or if it will be sorted out but thanks for the opportunity to be command and for entrusting me with the responsibility. Would definitely loved to get Reserves but I am not about that life of getting command just to go on reserves. @Spoonthanks for believing in me and giving me a shot for command @Slasherfor being the chillest command member and being there to hang out with but I will never forgive you for lying to be about the barret you turd @Retrocontinue the legacy and thanks for all the fun times we had

  9. i get what you are saying but i mean one way to fix it would be make it so tac could only respond to raids and gen stores etc. and not be able to just patrol and pull people over and respond to any call. For example when SCU was a thing in the SOP it said you couldn't join a chase until it was code amber or red. i feel like something like that could fix the issue

  14. +Support Look, some people might laugh at this and some might find my comment surprising, but if it is something y'all really want to do and take it seriously RP-wise then I'd be happy to see a fully-decked-out professional kitchen. Honestly it could bring about some dope moments.

  24. -Support Massive skill issue Everyone is capable of doing Makes combat more fun Keeps skill in the limited combat skill the server requires. Combat is pretty much depends on who has the most HP and Armor, giving a way to still kill people with higher HP and Armor (Seeing as guns don't do realistic damage)

  25. +Support -Good guy -knows what he's doing -Literally helps everyone with everything -has been here for awhile -Gives Honest Feedback -Gets his work done -Does everything in his Power to give the community something to do. -Knows what he's doing -Understands what must be done for this rank Notes Starch has been apart of the Community for a couple of years now and to say he's a really great AHC member in which he's helped many people out without any type of trouble. I believe starch would be a great SHC member within the Community as he's always giving Honest Feedback to help people grow within GL and not even just GL but also IRL. Much love Mr General Starch, and Good Luck.

  26. I won't post again after this, but I really have to make things clear: I don't understand why people are getting so bent over these "previous toxicity" warns, because one of them was for calling someone a hypocrite & the other was the Staff member with a lisp. I have friends with lisps, friends with Autism/ADHD/OCD, so I don't discriminate. I don't know if it was because he was nervous or something, but I seriously couldn't tell what he was saying. He also just decided to refuse to type or get another Admin in the sit when I asked, so I can't be held accountable. I didn't appeal those warns, because I didn't know I could appeal a warn, I just thought you could appeal a ban.

  28. Would be super easy to implement I would think too, all it would require is some sort of stamina system. Also not everyone is a pro at gmod, everyone should be able to have an enjoyable time in the PVP aspect of this server, not just a select few classes. Adding a stamina system would significantly balance out gunplay in this server as people wouldn't be able to glitch out their hitboxes with jump-crouching while full sprinting around corners. Saying it's a "skill issue" is the main reason we have this problem in the first place, as it's literally just an excuse blame it on the individual player for not being a gmod pvp god instead of the combat system, which is a horrible outlook on the situation. If we're just able to chalk it up to a "skill difference," then it just enables those few select classes to do whatever they want while newer players or players who just want to play casually just get screwed over time and time again. We shouldn't be only catering towards those few classes, we should be catering to ALL players and especially newer players as that's how a server grows and prospers. I’ve crouch spammed and I do it in pvp occasionally when my opponent is doing it, but it’s just generally not fun for all parties involved; and when I observe others doing it, all it results in is one party shit talking the other, which is another problem entirely but strange how it’s almost only those people involved that do it. Adding some kind of stamina system to prevent this from happening would be a huge step towards fixing the combat on the server; in fact, it would fix most of it. It would also make PVP more interesting as PvP on the server has been stagnant for quite a while, a new system would do wonders to change it up a bit. Saying otherwise is pretty much the same as saying you want the servers combat system to stay stagnant, which is beneficial to literally no one. HUGE +SUPPORT

  29. What are you suggesting? - Players who are actively in a combat situation ("Combat Situation" follows the same definition as "Active Shootout" in the Combat Healing rules) should not be allowed to use unrealistic movement in order to gain themselves an advantage in said situation. Players should have to think about their movement, use cover, and not just blindly bum-rush while spamming crouch or crouch jumping to get kills. This wouldn't ban crouching in a combat situation, but spamming crouch, crouch jumping, or generally unrealistic movement shouldn't be allowed while in combat. How would this change better the server? - Combat would become generally more fun for those who are more interested in actually using their brain. Someone has to actually use cover and make smarter plays than just running out and crouch spamming around the target so that they can't hit them. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - This would make it even more difficult for D-Class to escape (If you can consider this a disadvantage). Who would this change mostly benefit? - Roleplayers, and a large amount of Combatants, basically everyone but D-Class. Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion - N/A
