  1. ill leave it up to SMT on a warn or not but if possible i do think Sagiri/Nao needs to be talked to about CopBait and priority rules in general. most people have a problem with him and this including me where he will purposely drive around like an idiot to get pulled over and lead to a chase. rarely is there a successful traffic stop with nao that doesnt lead to chase

  3. The Issue with JRs Problem: After completing the half an hour training, some JRs skip over the SOP and other rules that were not on the test. I've seen so many JRs and gensec going back and forth about the JR not taking an escort and going wherever they please. Yesterday night there was a manhunt for a JR who wasn't listening and breaking many rules of the motd and sop. This causes a lot of unnecessary arguments that easily could've been solved by the JR reading their SOP before kidnapping D-Class. This happens a lot more often than you may think and if you've ever seen it happen, I am sorry for you. Solution: I believe that an easy fix to this issue is to remove handcuffs from the JR job. They would still be able to get D-Class by asking a gensec to grab them which most people do anyways. This would give the JRs a decent amount of time to learn how their job and sop work while preventing silly mistakes. Since most JRs get promoted in under 24 hours anyways, I think that's a good enough amount of time to learn more about the job and what not to do. Issue with the Solution: So obviously there are going to be a small minor issues with my solution, but in my opinion there are a lot more positives than negatives. The main issue with this solution that I can see is Junior Researchers not being able to cuff Class-D during their experiments, so they will have to ask their escorts to do it for them. This could also be a small positive to encourage Junior Researchers to actually bring escorts with them to LCZ and HCZ. Overview: Overall, I do think this idea will solve the issue of Junior Researchers running rampant across the site with several d-class and no escorts. If you agree with me that is fantastic, but if you don't that's fine as well. Let me know what you think and feel free to build off of this idea if you like it!

  4. Hello, I would like to start off by saying I admire your decisions to reach out and apply for staff. It is apparent your efforts are well mannered, but the vast, overwhelming, and putrid errors found in the application bring the case for denial to light. I would like to say that this application is one of the most ill organized that I've seen. You failed to exemplefiy or explain your knowledge of the MOTD and Staff Handbook, this is a very dire concern to me. You have based and founded your very application upon one of the weakest arguments for your acceptance you could possibly put -- that is that you are not "harsh." This is an apparent problem for me because sometimes being harsh is necessary when staffing and issuing the correct punishments. One of the most important factors of a effective staff member is being impartial or unbias in your decision making. This leads me to believe that there is a significant chance of improper punishment and staff manipulation. For these reasons and more I will be recommending this application to be DENIED.   8. One of the biggest things that keeps me away from the gmod servers is how so many of the staff members just have no clue what they're doing. Lacking knowledge of basic ULX commands, demanding video proof for things easily confirmed in logs, jailing the whole server trying to jail one guy, constantly noclipping around and picking people up for no reason etc. You guys really need to step up your training for staff members.

  16. - support I see no main reason as to why they need to be removed. Technically, they are bullet proof windows to look through to see if any D-Class / SCP is on the other side to make sure its safe to go. As for the window slot, in RP wise, it would be used for ID Checks if people were to be stationed at checkpoints.

  23. Extremely uncalled for response. And actually yes, bodyblocking is a written rule. General Rules -> Rule 12: Do not use your character's body to block doorways, hallways, or other areas. The least you could do is say that this was handled in game respectfully. +Support

  28. A decent chunk of what you learn as a staff member typically comes from first-hand experience while handling situations. All humans make mistakes, all of us here are human, and we all make mistakes from time to time. None of us are perfect, and we generally learn stuff from our seniors at the time when watching them handle the more-difficult situations. Most of the staff training explains basic situation handling and general rules and expectations. We cannot go over everything that you'll ever encounter as a staff member, so we go over the basics and allow for staff to make their own judgement based off of those general expectations that are given during the training. Along with that, if you ever catch a staff member abusing their powers, which in this circumstance, would be the point where you mentioned them randomly picking people up. You may always report them on the forums with of course the evidence that is needed. If found sufficient, the staff member will be punished for abuse and the sorts. Despite me having former experience as a Senior Administrator on a different DarkRP server, a decent chunk of the staffing guidelines and regulations were different here as they mostly are with different communities. It takes a bit to get the hang of everything. However, a decent amount of the experience I had gained there assisted me in my staff duties on the server here. Overall though, a lot of people here are rookies to staffing, and a larger chunk has experience elsewhere. Different staffing guidelines and expectations greatly affect situations like this, as some staff members may have used different logging systems, or other addons in terms of how the server works especially on the staff-side of things. Finally, if you have any particular suggestions you'd like to make that you think may help with the points you've listed in this post, I'd highly recommend posting them under the Suggestions section of the forums. Feedback from the community is always listened to, and a decent portion of what the servers are now came from community-made suggestions.

  29. everytime you goomba stomp someone you have a slight chance of a referee catching you and giving you a "yellow card" you do it again then you get a "red card" one more time and you get a "foul" and are removed from the match dishonourably

  31. It is truly amazing to see that CI's witchunting knows no limits, the sit was dealt with in game, and as it was already explained "body blocking" isn't an official rule written in the MOTD but I will not do it again after it was explained to me that it isn't allowed.

Your in game name: Jeb Threep Your Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:19270437 The player's in game name: Cloaker The player's steam ID (required): STEAM_0:1:461863232 Date and Time This Incident Occurred: Various times on 7/28 and 7/29. Latest incident was 6PM on 7/29 What did the player do: Cloaker was formally warned yesterday by Stonksman for toxicity towards me in game, he killed me and said "How's that negative reputation on the forums?" Stonksman in the sit informed me about reputation, a factor I had been unaware of. Stonksman noted that I had accrued -20 reputation in about a day's time. I hadn't noticed and didn't see how it factored in. One minute after the warning, Cloaker went directly to the forums and left another thumbs down on one of my comments. I reported this to Stonksman and he pulled him into the admin only channel to talk to him over it. A thread opened up on the 28th in the suggestions forum in which I weighed in. I received a toxic response and then a Forum Diplomat stepped in to say "To avoid arguments please leave all posts to +/- Support. Any further arguments or useless posts will be hidden by our diplomat team!" After this post Cloaker came into the thread and quoted the toxic post and commented that they " said it perfectly". I feel that given the string of toxic and abusive behavior he has been exhibiting, this is a clear cut case of toxicity after a Forum Diplomat had already stated to leave all future posts to +/- support. Evidence (required): What do you believe should happen to the player: After this many issues, I believe he should be removed from staff. Any extra information: Stonksman has handled this entire issue, I believe he will be key to assisting with the facts.
