  1. Well, I never knew when this day would come, but I knew it had to come eventually. As time goes on, different needs appear in life, and my current life's needs have dictated that I be able to focus my attention where it is needed. I'm trying to switch careers and move to a new state and hopefully get a new life situation going soon, and all of that is taking one heck of an amount of energy and concentration away from what I used to be able to put into this community. For this reason, with a heavy heart I must take my leave. I cannot begin to describe how fulfilled I feel from the time I got to spend participating in, leading and shaping this community. I feel like my entire experience from the beginning to the end was exactly what I wanted, starting as a lowly maintenance employee and slowly rising to where I am now in the shadowy O5 council. I feel like i've experienced everything I possibly can at every level of foundation employment, and formed countless memories and roleplay scenarios that I will treasure forever. The friends i've made and lost along the way will also never be forgotten!!! My final parting message would be for everyone to just remember how amazing of a place this really can be when we get right down to it. We all ended up here out of a nerdish love for fantasy scifi literature in the form of the SCP Archives, and whenever we're online, together we all work to emulate that feeling of being part of a shadowy organization that controls dangerous objects. There is no experience quite like that anywhere else on earth. (Sure there's other SCP servers, but they aren't quite like ours!). So just remember whenever you have drama or beef with others, consider why we're all really here, and try to carry on that spirit to keep this as one of the coolest SCP Servers and community to be part of! Now for my special thanks section! EMT: Zeeptin - Only talked to you like once or twice, but you're a super chill guy. Thank you for providing this amazing space for us to have this community and making this all possible! SMT: Igneous - You saw potential in me while handling certain things and were willing to point it out. That was awesome! You also do an excellent job running this place and delegating decision-making as necessary. I've never once felt like we in SA weren't trusted to do our jobs by you, and that is the best possible dynamic to have in a bureaucracy. Thank you for all of your countless hours of work running this place, listening to players, implementing changes.. everything! Rang - Ever since our first meeting where you leashed me to promote me to LCPL in security, i've always been a bit intimidated by you. But i'm proud to have grown to know you as a colleague and a friend. You are the stern parent this place needs at times xD (btw We're still on for Stellaris and Barotrama sometime!) Catsro - Awesome and chill guy, working with you in O5 was great and you were always a great point of reference for some tough decisions we had to make as a group. Keep up the awesome work. O5: Hoovy - Simply epic dude, one in a million. You saw so much potential in me during my uprising in utility and HCMD, and gave me the push i needed to try out Event Team. Also one of the single most dedicated people in this whole community! I never make as much money in Sea of Thieves as I do when I play with you. We oughta sail together more! Thanks for everything man! Matricies - A good colleague and peer. Very professional! Will miss working with you. Skela - It's all you now man! You're gonna do awesome. Everyone trusts you, and for good reason! Keep making good decisions and listening to people. Others: Infamous - One of my most loyal utility CMD from back in the day. Thanks for making my time in Technical so meaningful dude. I'm sorry you never got to be AHOT, but at least you got to be AHOME right? FalloutMarine - One of my oldest friends from Technical. Keep up the good roleplay man, you'll go far! Jack - Epic jackman, the jackinator, jack attack. (The utility one) You ran a gang of jacks, buncha minges! You came a long way from peeing on electrical outlets as a Jr Tech! Proud of ya man! Mike - One of the closest friends and best roleplayers i've ever met. You kept me going in other times i felt like resigning. Thanks for everything you did with CNTN and HLPR!! Kami - One of the best roleplayers and friends I came to know on the server. You inspired a lot of really great roleplay scenarios for me. Thank you for everything you did with CNTN and HLPR! Brandon - One of my original inspirations to be more active (ironic?? lol) Hope you find time to bring some life back to this place man Cookie - Most epic ex DOU. Was so great running utility with you man. I miss those days! Dr Pepper and Dr Dre will return to medbay one day. Gh0pit - My E11 HCMD that I never got to know that well. Thanks for all you did for E11 while I was there! Also, you have some really great RP skills, was great seeing you in CNTN as the detective! Kuma - One of the most passionate HCMD and branch leaders ever. It was interesting chatting with you late at night in the research bunks back in the day! Pure - You disappeared without a trace minge, but you were the most entertaining HCMD member i've ever known. Better come back someday! Rektify - Man who gives out large spankings. Sass level 9001. Stay awesome dude! Price - Keep up all your great efforts in RP dude! Thanks for all your involvement with CNTN. Corner - Actually a very skilled Roleplayer and the single person i feared most in all of CI. Cool guy! Camo - Literally shot down O5 Chopper and didn't get demoted. Legend. I wish i could spend more time cataloguing every single memory and happy feeling this place and you guys gave me, but i'd be here all day. So i'll wrap things up here. Sorry if you didn't make it into my resignation post! Even if you didn't, just know that you probably still made a profound impact on my time here. Thank you all for everything! I'll be sure to visit often!

  3. There are a few reasons that i personally prefer Site 05, I have also heard these from other members in the community meaning im not alone, I am mainly making this to see who else agrees with the change in map. I will go through each part of the map by area. First up is d-block, D-block at first looks difficult on site 05, but then Dclass figure out the elevator lets them go up in hordes, this is due to the size of the elevator allowing potentially 20 or more dclass to go up at one time, the rim of the elevator can also be used as cover for dclass shooting with falcons or other weapons they get from armoury, But, Something that site 05 does really well is it makes it feel balanced for GENSEC as well, when a partial lockdown is called all the members of GENSEC in dblock at the time would stand on the rims of the elevator, firing down at dclass that go onto the elevator, but still allowing dclass to get up. The next area is LCZ, One of the simpler parts of the map which is good, this is the first area that new gensec and dclass enter so it makes sense it would be very few hallways, allowing them to learn it fast while also being good for Security to "try their hand" at dealing with SCPs like 682, having long straight hallways that allow them to have a hit and run tactic against some SCPs, There is also RP potential for maintenance (formerly janitorial and technical) Having pipes and lights they are able to repair in LCZ. There is also added action on site 05 for medical, Medbay is one of the major chokepoints of LCZ, Due to it being one of the two entrances to LCZ CI will funnel through medbay, meaning medical are able to call out CI raids which they are barely able to do on this map, There is also the bridges connecting LCZ, where you are able to snipe at people who are attempting to enter the other set of checkpoints, allowing sniper to be actually effective inside the facility without needing to use them as slower shooting shotguns. The next area would logically be HCZ, HCZ was a series of tunnels which connect all the SCPs, The keter SCPs are kept in lower while the euclid SCPs were kept in upper, Easy for new MTF to learn, There are only two ways that you are able to enter, through a staircase near 096 and a elevator that lets you access upper HCZ, Lower HCZ and the LCZ meeting room CP, HCZ was made up of long hallways so you can see what is coming, A lot of MTF can stack up at both sides and subdue any SCP that is in the middle, giving more empathises on teamwork than on the current map, where you just wander around blankly until you see something that is shootable, Even the lesser played SCPs were better on this map, you were in a part of the map that was actually travelled so you wouldnt only need to stare at a wall until your self breaching timer is up, you can possibly interact with a researcher or a MTF personal that walks past, HCZ was also good for dclass, if a single Dclass expert or CC Got into lower HCZ they could release almost every SCP (which was usually their goal because they enjoy ruining the site) Next is EZ, EZ was around the same size as the current map but contained a few more things, it had unique rooms for each branches high command and site admins instead of putting them all together, it also contained MTF bunks (same as the current map) which was right next to gate B, this would make it riskier for CI/Dclass to use this gate but it would be rewarding, giving them a faster exit and avoiding E11 almost entirely (which entered through gate A) gate B was special because it was unable to be cracked from the outside, only opening from the inside, meaning it was only a exit UNLESS maynard opened it, giving a surprise to MTF which would expect them to come from the other side, This gate alone gave maynard a purpose for actually traveling to EZ instead of him just flipping of the lights then running away, achieving basically nothing. Finally we have Surface, Surface was almost entirely flat besides a few rocks and hills, this allowed snipers to be incredibly effective (this would give more purpose for longshots a CI class to cover fire while the other CI escape) E11 would enter through the exact same gate that CI enter through, Gate A meaning that E11 and CI actually appose each other compared to now where they barely interact, Surface was also much easier for newly escaping dclass, When they first get onto surface they will follow a road that leads to a town with a large white warehouse, once they enter they will find CI base, much easier then a hole in the ground (which it was at one point), CI would also actively patrol town instead of just standing inside their base waiting for a raid, while on surface there was also a temple which allowed anyone who was on top to have a vantage point on around half of surface. Last are a few miscellaneous parts i didnt really know where to put, Checkpoints would be able to be entered by any level 3 personal instead of needing to walk around, making MTF and CI rollouts faster into the site, All keycard based doors were balanced around classes like ColdSilver and A1 SF having access to level 5 keycards, there was no area they were meant to be unable to access meaning they got to keep their keycards.

  4. In Game Name: Kira (Kami) Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:60884699 Job applying for: O5 Logistics (Maintenance) How many Warns do you have?: 1 from ages ago. Why do you want to join the O5 staff team: Ever since I was a small child, my brain worked like a computer. Information filled in this small little head I had like I was a sponge soaking it all in. I had . . . Well witnessed the fact of what this group was and what more it could become if I was to assist in your little endeavors. Being apart of the Suit's Guys henchmen has all the necessities I could to learn even more. The Information is limitless, and the opportunity is wide. I would like to join these people because they work hard to get what they want, they work for their own types of information, information that is new, information that is useful. This isn't just for myself however, I wish to help Kudo in a way he needs, For now he needs distance, he needs to learn to care for himself, and being in such a position will force him to be distant, as I wont be around to help him for long. Why should we accept you: I am fairly skills in the arts of the mechanical needs that your . . . staff possess. I believe Suit Guy has a lot to learn from a new member such as myself. New exchanges. All they would get from accepting me is more of a gain of power, and I have to say that everyone enjoys that. I work hard, and I do my part, I am not weak, I would not fall so easily. I have all the necessities and skills needed for this position. It's all the matter of if you, reaching out your hand for the shake. I'm said to have a firm grip, well professional like.

  9. It is completely reasonable for a small squad of Nu7 to guard gate A on rotated intervals when there are enough on to do so. It is also Nu7 and wardens job to guard checkpoints If they only move to guard when CI advert, thats metagaming. Either they always have a guard squad, or never have a guard squad.

  10. -Support Pretty much the issue you are trying to address is meta gaming when CI do their flag up advert. If MTF run to Gate A or EZ in preperation of the raid and you have valid proof from staff, Maynard, or just hop on 343 to spectate, report it. I will try to ensure MTF command do not encourage or let the meta behavior happen, but as for guarding the gates and checkpoints that is fine to do.

  13. Name: Moonrose Current Rank: JR Who else was with you?: Researcher Ceese, 2 D-Class, security guard. SCP: 1025 & 294 What were you trying to find out? What happens when a subject exposed to SCP-1025 orders and drinks "LIFE" from SCP-294? What happened during your experiment? D-class died, 2nd D-class got lung cancer, and life didn't cure it. After exposing the first D-class to SCP:1025 they spontaneously combusted after reading SCP: 1025. The second D class personnel survived reading SCP-1025, after being escorted to medbay. He was medically examined and was diagnosed with lung cancer, he was then administered "LIFE" from SCP-1025. Subjected reported feeling "good" but upon another examination, the tumours around his lungs had not disappeared. He was administered class A Amnestic and escorted back to D-Block I have concluded that 1025's anomalous properties can overwrite some of 294's healing properties, although this requires more testing with more of 1025's ailments is required. -JR Moonrose

  15. What you did right; Creative test idea. Good utilization of SCP- 294. What you could improve on; Some of the sentence structuring is a little off, making it semi-difficult to read. This test feels like it has a lot of room for more detail and role-play. Could've used more colors or fonts to make it a little less bland. Great job despite these. What you did wrong; Nothing Notable. Overall Score: 85/100 (B)

  22. I feel with a Defcon 1 event the community will get to choose a new name once again, meaning Defcon 1s will be rare (which they already are). I don't see it as a bad idea and lets the community have a big part in RP with the server. +Support

  23. 1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : Shock LTC Sully 2. What Regiment are you applying for? Shock Security 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? I would love to be given the opportunity of Commander for my favorite branch on Gaminglight ImperialRP, Shock. I would restore Shock to its great days which I've already began the new era, training 15 new trainees in a matter of three days. I've already shown my respect for this great battalion, having 12 shock on at once for the first time in a long time, as well as I've proved my extreme activity, getting on at any chance I have in my schedule. Due to my experience already as Shock Commander, I have proved already that I can revive battalions back to their great states, doing the same with the Starfighter Corps, recording up to 22 people on at once. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? 9 weeks, first joined 5/1/20 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? There are many purposes for a Commander of a branch, alike making a regiment respect you, updating all the documents which I've done multiple times, keeping sub-regiments active, which I can do very well as I was lead for both sub-regiments before and I know how to run them perfectly. Another purpose for a Commander is to keep a battalion active. This is the main purpose which reflects on how good you are at managing your NCO's and Officers, as well as creating a good Training Officer system which is what I did for SF. and Shock a while back. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : I believe to be trusted as a Command member due to my likable past. Numbers don't lie, when I was Shock Commander we had a week straight of hitting 18 people on at the same time. This proves that I am reliable and fit to be a Vice Commander for this branch. During my accomplishments as Shock Commander and Vice Commander I, Created a new format for roster updates and trainings, updated all documents including helping the formation of Elite Jump Trooper, had bunks remodeled for first time since launch(ty hotshot), created most active Shock ever seen, as well as gained trust within the Command team as well as making many friends throughout the way. As a Marshall for the Starfighter Corps, I revived them from the previous Marshall's mess, create a friendly environment (removing a few people for toxicity), creating a Training Officer system with a Head Training Officer, Assistant Head, as well as seven supervisors who helped me revive the battalion. One of the main reasons I should be trusted is due to when I came back to Shock I have personally done 20+ tryouts, training 15 people through my few days back. Shock is now a contender in activity with other regiments with my help and will continue to grow if I become Vice Commander. 7. How often can you be Online? : I am online pretty much all day unless I got school for which I will be on for around 6 hours a day 8. Do you have any Warnings? (What for?) : 3 warnings, all from a while ago as well as a false warn from a GM
