  1. its the 19th here in aussie land and that marks 2yrs in this community, came along way from the lad who got warned for revenge massrdm in old rockford to the chilled out guy i am and made some good mates along the way, wouldn't of thought I'd of been in this community this long or made it as far as i have in some departments hell or even make my own department but I'm grateful for the opportunity. This has been a journey and im glad to have known alot of yall and or played with or against yall, thank you for making the past 2 years memorable Also its still incredible to see the work that smt and zeeptin do, this server and community as a whole has improved alot since when i first join and I'd like to thank them for that too See yall ingame

  3. Accepted Based on the evidence and testimony provided, this warning appeal is being accepted. While the appellate in this case broke a well known rule in the MOTD, some discretion in this case would be warranted. The elevator glitch is well known and well documented, and on the list to be fixed. However, the appellate could've easily called a staff member about the issue, or notified staff immediately upon spawning a prop to fix the glitch to avoid the situation. Additionally, the appellate failed to immediately remove his prop upon fixing the glitch, which led to the staff member in question discovering the situation and handling as they deemed appropriate. (150 Word Minimum) Without a doubt, being a senior admin has given me everything I should have needed to be satisfied on the server but, fortunately or unfortunately, this is not the case. My want and desire to improve and expand my skills in how I handle issues in-game, with people or in real life has only grown more and more ever since I have obtained this rank. When I was applying for senior admin, I thought that would be the stopping point of my staff career but, with all sincerity, I genuinely want to assist in improving the server in any way I can. I tend to find little loopholes within the system, whether it’s staffing, roleplaying, etc., that I have helped fix and I have assisted and coached lower ranking staff members with their sits whenever they needed it. When given the opportunity, I am quick when responding to members in need, staff or not, with any problems that they have no matter how menial. With nearly six months (from this post) as Senior Admin and my experience in an honorable MTF high command position, I have been able to cultivate my ability to handle a variety of situations and some involving branch-related issues. When speaking with another individual/group of individuals, I have always presented myself as a charismatic, friendly yet assertive person that will put my foot down when I feel like something is wrong, no matter who they are. However, I also grant people the respect of listening to them and their point of views since even staff can be wrong. I wish to continue being a role model for anyone who looks up to me and to set a fine example of how a proper staff/community member should present themselves. I am highly active on the forums and teamspeak, which makes it easier for staff members to come and ask me anything they’d like when needed. I spend a lot of time in-game, staying up for hours to assist multiple players that may hop on during different time zones and putting forth the very best that I can do. Even when I am under stress, I am typically able to contain it and to keep a rather calm composure but, as humans should, even I slip every now and then. Yet, as a bona fide staff member, I will continue to give that same respect of listening and constructive discussions with whomever I am speaking with. For those that know me and for those who are reading this, I hope you understand that I will always try to do the utmost in my power to give everyone a positive time, whether it’s speaking with me or playing in our game. Lastly, I would personally like to be a bridge between normal players and the management team. To be a link that may bring about a happier community and to grow a stronger bond between the two. Gaminglight has been the longest community I have ever been with and I desire to make it better.I’m pretty proud to say that I am a member of this group, filled with players that all want to enjoy themselves. I hope you take this application into consideration. Thank you. 16. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? If I find someone Mass RDMing, I would immediately pull them into a staff room. As soon as they begin to curse at me, I would probably spark some dialogue and ask what’s going on and why they want to cause a disturbance? If I can calm the player, I may be able to deescalate the situation, explain to them what they did wrong and why I have to hand them a ban. If they are not calming down and continue to curse at me, I would gag them and freeze them in case they decide to do anything rash. I would proceed by checking their warn history and, more than likely, handing them a warn for Mass RDM and Staff Dissing. From there, I would tell them that they will be banned for 5 days due to the mass RDM and consider their total warnings if it reaches a certain threshold on top of the Mass RDM ban. If they leave the sit (LTAP), this will add an extra 3 days to their ban as well. 17. Please pick and answer one of the questions only if applying for Senior Moderator. If applying for Admin pick two and answer them. If applying for Senior Admin you must answer all three. Answering more than the required amount of questions for the rank you are applying for will result in your application being denied. Q1: You are involved in a staff sit that involves 5 different players. The players begin to get frustrated and the sit becomes very toxic and unproductive. What would you do in this situation? I would first pull everyone involved in the situation into one of the three staff rooms. Next, I would try to figure out what the situation is and how to best de escalate the problem. If the players become toxic and the sit seems to be going nowhere, I would first mute/gag those that do not comply with my easy requests. Once I have everyone settled, I would check the logs to see what the situation was and possibly give a warning to the players that broke any MOTD rule, or possibly a verbal depending on their maturity in the sit. After the punishments are given, I would ask everyone to stay away from each other as to avoid any confrontations like these again and return them all. Q2: In your opinion, what is the best way to handle a situation involving a player that clearly does not care about the punishments they are receiving? I would simply hand them the punishment that fits the staff handbook and return them if they are still in-game by the end of the sit. I would rather not add gasoline to the fire. Q3: There is a player abusing a known bug, and he has been reported to staff. He swears he followed the server rules when you talk with him. What's the best way to handle this? I must check if there is evidence that he abused the bug first. Without video evidence or staff witness, we would only be pointing fingers. However, if there is proof, then the player would be brought into a sit and I would explain that I have evidence of it. Usually, I’m quite forgiving and, depending if they apologize to staff for lying, they may get a formal warn or a verbal. I would include the fact that they exploited a bug in the warn and jail the player for 300-600 seconds, depending on the severity of the issue. If they are abusing the bug even after their jailed punishment, it could end up as a ban.

I’ve had to leave myself to get my life together when I’m down and trust me, taking this kind of break is gonna do nothing but make ur life go up again. Take this from someone with 6k hours and has been lead on before online, shit hurts. Take a long ass break and only come back if u don’t even have a second the think about ‘am I ready or not’. Focus on real life and real life friends, just having them around us 90% of the effort done.

Now hear me out, this is where It got confusing for me, He says he was getting shot at before he walked in and he ran into the shock gate because he was being shot at, but in the video, The DT says he was trying to stop you, and I believe he means stop you from trespassing, so considering your evidence is Invalid I will be going off the DT saying he shot you because you ran into the restricted area, I don't believe he's going to randomly shoot you after he said he was trying to show you around the server (1:23) - at 2:00 in the video, It says you got shot AFTER you ran into the restricted area (which is KOS/AOS) -You tried RDMing the guy in the admin sit (3:27) I honestly cant believe how you're making a player report/Staff report , when you are providing evidence of you breaking the rules yourself.

  19. I have yet to come across another player who has even come close to the amount of trouble you caused with your time on SCP:RP. As you mentioned, you intentionally got yourself blacklisted from almost every single branch, every single job, and you thought it was amusing. The staff members who were constantly called to sits regarding you didn't find it amusing, but you didn't care. You had a complete disregard for the MOTD, and had no regard to change. So please do excuse me if it seems a bit hard to accept you want to change when there has yet to be as unapologetic of a person I have banned even to this day. If you really believe you have changed and you feel bad, why would you say this when you were discussing your ban in Igneous' Stream earlier?: http://prntscr.com/u0qcoi (Clue in for those who don't know: I was the event manager at the time, so I can only assume that this is in regards to me; the issuer of the ban.   20. DENIED Toxicity and bullying are not tolerated on the server, nor the community. However, in this instance it is extremely difficult for SMT members to take action. For one, recording actions on the server is not only permissible, but encouraged for the purpose of documenting potential misconduct, or capturing fun moments on the server. The specific recording that captured the interaction between a player playing SCP 939 and MTF personnel in question is therefore not breaking any rules to have been made in the first place. While the recording captures a player in a poor light, that's not something that we as SMT personnel can control, nor really take specific actions against unless we are able to determine without a shadow of a doubt that recordings are being made or edited to target a specific player for harassment or intimidation purposes. In this specific incident, that isn't the case. While we are not taking actions from a staff standpoint, the players involved in this incident have absolutely placed themselves on the radar of the SMT, Site Administration, and their branch command's radar. Their specific branch commands may take action at their own discretion against the individuals in question, and any further questionable conduct will be met with stringent consequences.

  24. +support this is such a minor diss that i am wondering if banter is now strikable. I feel banter (or friendly diss...) needs to be accepted more otherwise every branch is just gonna be scanning for something to report the other for. If you don't feel like giving a proper opinion or dont have the feeling to properly write it out then im sorry but there is no reason to put forward any sort of response. Its a strike appeal not a daily suggestion. Also this is a strike from june? nearly 2 months have passed which I am assuming is the end date however I thought strikes outside of CMD were 1 month not 2? Either way, may as well just wait it out Gam3, only 8 days left.

What did the admin do: I had just joined the server finished reading everything and Viper came up to me and told to stop and i didnt see a reason to since i just joined and he didnt have a reason to stop me (i dont have this frst part recorded) i kept running around the map to get aquanted with it and Viper was shooting me. I ran was running away and i guess i ran into a room that was off limits. My time it was 11:13 General MTn time i dont know if there is a downtime or not. Viper call it in telling someone to arrest me and Watermelon TPd and arrested me without letting me explain. While i waited the 10 minutes in jail i made a staff report which was not handled until 30 seconds were left of the jail. Durring the staff sit Watermelon did not care that Viper shot me and nothing happened to him and he kept pushing it back to the fact i was in a not allowed area. Viper said in chat people shoot people all the time so i shot him in the sit. I admit that i am at fault for shooting in a sit and walking into a not ok area but if this is suposed to be serious enough to have off limit rooms this late it should be serious enough for PV1 Viper to not be shooting new players and watermelon to maybe handle things a but better. I dont wish for any ban or punishment i just wanted to voice concerns because i like gaminglight and was looking for a new SWRP to play on but this will not be my server of choice unless something changes.
