  3. People are completely ignoring the skill factor in this situation. If you put the stats out on the table our Special Forces class if not equal barley over special forces in other branches. Replies to this post a portraying a scenario basically saying " I get killed by class a lot so they don't deserve these changes". Let's compare Special forces classes in sense that's what everyone cares about. Nu-7 HSU 200/200 (400) MP5SD- Hard hitting slower rate of fire submachine gun. AWP- Long distance moderate damage shooter. Ithacam- Hard hitting shotgun with lower mag size than others. OMI-9 Experimental Expert 275/125 (400) Lower armor for health pool. Some people fail to realize that not only you can buy armor in certain places, You can mitigate a lot more damage than normal classes. (Not to mention 100 armor costs $1500) and a box of hemo's cost $10-1000 and can heal up to 300 HP. AW50- Harder hitting sniper rifle in sacrifice of range. Vikhir- Decent RPM with devastating damage per hit. Chainsaw- A chainsaw. E-11 Coldsilver 250/200 (450) Not going to lie ever since the FG-42 nerf the weaponry on this class has been not too good. (Don't forget the broken hitbox on their model though!) CI Shades Task Force 225/225 (450) Mossberg- Tight choke and good damage makes great pick at decent range. AWP- Long distance moderate damage shooter. SG556- Moderate RPM and damage with low accuracy. To me right here I don't see the "Shades is much stronger" argument being to much of a valid reason. With one extra weapon then 2 classes and and 50 extra stats over 2 classes (Out of 3) we are tasked with combating 3 branches. And before you start typing out that "MTF have lower number" reason hold your tongue. MTF activity has nothing to do with CI and is completely controllable by command in those branches. And another not to mention Nu-7 activity has been higher than ours as of recently. Each class has a unique trait about it to balance it out with others. And the point of this reply to hopefuly have some people understand that there is really no difference between the classes so SMT please don't take it another way.

What are you suggesting? - Bring back ID checkpoints How would this change better the server? - It would add more RP for MTF (specifically for O9 because at times it feels as tho our RP is lacking). The idea behind an ID checkpoint is it’s a stationery thing that would get deployed post CI raid as that makes sense from an RP standpoint, a high security foundation would want to confirm the identity of people post raid. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - Sleuths would be disadvantaged, but they would still be able to roll to pass through. Who would this change mostly benefit? - O9 Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion -

  6. Recently I've pondered the thought of why warns stay on an account forever. Mostly due to the fact i was banned for a day for reaching my 10 warns. My problem isn't with the ban my problem is with the warns. Half of my warns were from last year and the situations were too long ago to even remember. In my opinion i feel as if after a entire year or two warns should be nulled or removed depending on the warn. For example obviously if you have a warn for Mass RDM that may take longer to disintegrate then a warn for just 1 RDM. This may sound like something hard to implement but i think it is something that will make more people happy because imagine getting 40 warns over the course of 3 years (which wouldnt be hard over 3 years) and getting permabanned. I mean yes people can follow the MOTD and not break rules but people make mistakes and over the course of years and years mistakes may happen alot. I think having certain types of warns have a disintegration time would be a big change but could benefit good players in the long run.

(150 Word Minimum) I have been in the SCP RP community for a year now coming up on 2 years in December and I feel like I can take a bigger role in this community now. I have a pretty good reputation within the community and I am friendly towards anyone who I meet. My activity is also very good since I have gotten back and I have been getting on the server everyday dedicating at least 6 hours a day towards the server, my activity will help benefit the staff team by providing someone that is always available in game and also on discord. My activity on the forums is also good as well I always check forums daily as well as the SCP RP main roster. The dedication that I will put into the staff team will greatly benefit the server and the members, also when it comes to important situations like staff sits I feel like I could it very seriously and handle the situation very well. Overall my addition to the staff team will be a great benefit for the server. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? First I would ask the person to stop, then if the person continues to curse at me I would proceed to gag them then will try to get the situation under control with those involved. Then I will check for evidence of mass rdm in logs, when evidence is found I will proceed to warn the person for mass rdm/staff dis, then call for a higher up to issue the person a 5 day ban.

  17. The Car was added to the Server a long time ago but it was removed from the car dealer bc it was accused of crashing the server. personally i don't have proof of the car being added since this CC was put into the server a long time ago. this is according to another member of the community

  21. +/-Support I think a rule would need to be placed like "Can only use them in armory" and of course no combat healing with it. -Support This sniper can 2 shot most of security and low ranked MTF units and from what I have heard is a low ranked job to join? Also the job has 10 slots, I can only imagine the chaos that would cause with one of the strongest sniper in the game right now. But if the job slots are set to around 3 - 5 and the rank requirement was higher I would be fine with it. But +Support to everything else unless I am missing something.

  22. +/- Support, i understand wanting some change but i dont think that swapping out all of these weapons is a good move. For Specifics, i don't think that the Shades needs a buff, from most of what i see they win a large part of their engagements anyways and as they have healthkits and are often around armories, they can't really be chipped down. The Armorkits i am a bit on the fence about, i understand that its for for CI to have them however Maintenance is only allowed to use them in the Medical area's, if CI can just regain Armor anywhere on the map that'd be a bit unfair.

  28. -Support As a member of AARP (omi9) I think that it is already hard enough with the weapons, HP, armor you have currently. Furthermore I do believe that JFK did indeed have sexual relations with that woman. Also I believe the Reagan was a crook (jokes). In other words I feel as though you do not need such weaponry or higher stats that you currently obtain. I honestly I dont understand why you have separated your branch into two different branches if you were going to keep RND as a Combatant. With that said I already thought that RND already joins in CI Raids to capture SCPs. I agree with what is said here. When it comes to other branches updates we ALSO have to be considerate of CI. But I feel as though CI isn't considering other branches in this updated. As stated before CI is already has good stats. Ci are already able to get from Gate-B to D-Block in a matter of minutes so to say that Ci is to get these weapons and stats is a bit outlandish.

A Omi-9 sub branch has a class with stats that out do every other class that isn't a scp Funny thing here, armor is just an extra stat. a person wit 200 l 200 will die the same speed as someone with 400 hp. I'm not saying you're wrong but I'd much rather be able to heal back up to my max hp. Take the Omi-9 juggernaut for example, after a fight it can simply heal back up to 350 hp and buy 100 armor putting it back to 450 combined, which is 150 better than for example a CI cc which could only get back to 300 combined whilst doing the same actions And as a side note people who say "Armor takes 80% of the damage hp does so it's better" that 20% of damage goes directly to hp so it doesn't make a difference besides be worse at it's own job. this is a fault of HCMD and their decisions for branch updates as extensive testing should be done when looking to improve or simply give the branch a refresh as to avoid a situation such as this. Unless I'm wrong Fool and Bread tried to buff the Nu7 operative a lot but it was denied for reasons of "Nu7 is a starter branch". Also Unless I'm mistake doesn't the Omi-9 base operative have a higher stats than both of these? which going against a branch (CI) that only gets 1 Life per raid seems a bit unfair for the Alpha op Also y'all forget that it's CI vs 3 branches

  31. I don’t mean to start a fight, but armor is so much more valuable than HP and you’d be surprised how little we actually have. For example, our medic class is 225 | 50 (and this class is superior to our officer class because it has the Ithaca compared to the officers F2000). By statement I was not intending to imply that O9 should beat up CI, but it shouldn’t look like every CI raid you guys win. There should be an even number of wins and losses on both sides.

  32. I’m probably about to get a bunch of thumbs down for this comment but -support. Initially before I joined O9 I was firm believer that CI needed to be the best and the strongest and they deserved the best weaponry. I still partially believe that, but MTF classes are far behind in their load outs. No offense to Bread, but this is like when he purposely put the overpowered famas on Nu7 to gain an advantage except you did that all across the board. You can call me “mad cuz bad” (admittedly I am bad lol), but still this is unfair. O9 and CI are meant to be more of a stalemate, and after 1 day in O9 I can partially understand why we have less activity. It’s because of CI being so much stronger than us. The E4 class is a perfect example of you blatantly attempting to buff CI. You traded 2 mediocre weapons for better weapons. Both the Winchester and vikhr outclass the weapon previously filling it’s role. No offense but if this happens I believe Nu7 also needs a buff to their operative because the CI alpha is currently 125 | 100 whereas Nu7 operative is 100 | 100. As the retired head of longshots I thought that everyone had agreed upon pushing for either 150 | 175 or something along those lines. You ignored all other changes that were wanted universally.

  37. Current MOTD rules allow SCP 343 to do this. They also allow 343 to do the reverse and tell CI where MTF/GENSEC are. + Support to allow 343 free access to the playable map only.

  42. I feel like a revamp of the system could benefit the future. For example heres a lil chart. Any Bans stay on your record forever. NLRx1 takes 6months to disintegrate where as NLR x 3 may take 1 year to disintigrate RDMx1 Takes 1 year to go while RDMx3 may take 1.5 to 2 years based on SMT Mass RDM may take 2 years to disappear these are just examples not the end product but no matter what BANS WILL STAY ON YOUR RECORD FOREVER

  43. If you get permabanned its not like this will reverse it. And it should be up to staff depending on the warns that get removed. Maybe the whole warn system itself could get a overhaul from this. IDK im not SMT.
