This experiment has been DECLASSIFIED. It is available for viewing to Foundation Personnel of level 2 clearance or higher. Context: The nature of this experiment is very complex. It is important to understand several things before diving into this: -SCP-049 has proven to be medically knowledgeable in previous experiments. -SCP-500 is a true "panacea," a medicine capable of curing all diseases known and unknown. -SCP-038 is capable of cloning SCP-500 instances, creating additional instances with a 1-in-3 success rate of curing diseases. Rank: Res Util Supervisor Earl Clearance Level: 2 List of Personnel involved in testing: MTF Nu7 PFC Naqua NA60 Level D personnel involved: None. SCP: 049, 500, 038. Safety Precautions: SCP-500 SCP-500 is to be handled with great care, a single instance placed within a temporary containment unit (which will in this case be a plastic vial and rubber cork) for transport. SCP-500 instances are incredibly valuable as it is not easy to reproduce them. SCP-500 is not to be removed from the container during testing, other than for use with SCP-038, and is instead to be inspected while still in the confines of this vial. SCP-049 is to be strictly instructed not to remove the cork or otherwise risk damage to the SCP-500 instance. Post-experiment it is to be returned with utmost caution in handling. Damage to SCP-500 instances can and are likely to be met with harsh punishment. SCP-038 Due to the nature of SCP-038, no personnel are to be permitted in SCP-038's CC without hazmats equipped. This is to prevent the unwanted cloning of Foundation Personnel, as well as any situations such as incident [DATA EXPUNGED]. This way, SCP-038 at the very worst would clone the Hazmat suit, and not any biological beings. Considering the value of SCP-500 instances, gentle handling is required when removing it from the vial and touching it to the bark of SCP-038. The original instance of SCP-500 is to be stored before retrieving the copy. The copy is easily reproduced, and may be handled by sterile hand. SCP-049 SCP-049 can be considered hostile in given situations. It is better to bargain with it than to threaten it, offering it subjects to test on in the future for its cooperation. However, for the sake of Security, two weapons should be trained upon it at all times. When entering SCP-049's CC, Hazmat suits are a requirement. No skin should be visible or otherwise accessible to 049 when in its presence, as to prevent the unwanted death or injury of Foundation personnel. Errors Made: Unfortunately, during this test, the MTF escorts allowed a D Class to enter 049's containment chamber wielding a pistol. This D Class was ascertained by 049 and converted into an 049-2 instance. This was very quickly handled by myself, as I instructed 049 to command the instance to cease combat and stand on the wall. Upon my own exit from the chamber, the MTF were instructed to terminate the instance. No harm was brought to myself or 049 in the process, and MTF handled their injuries. Question: Will SCP-049's medical background show that he contains knowledge of SCP-500? When presented with a copy of SCP-500 through the use of SCP-038, how will he react? Background Research: SCP-500 SCP-500 is a bottle of red pills known as "Panacea." Each of these pills is capable of curing any and all diseases, known and unknown, with a 100% success rate. They are incredibly difficult to reproduce, and copies often do not hold the same properties as them. For this reason, true instances of SCP-500 should be handled with incredible care. SCP-038 SCP-038 is a common tree capable of reproducing any item touched to its bark exactly, with the exception of some anomalous items. SCP-500 is one of these exceptions, as copies produced by SCP-038 only have a 1-in-3 chance of working properly. Because of this, SCP-500 instances are often copied when intended for general use, something that has proven fairly useful to the Foundation. SCP-049 SCP-049 bears the appearance of a Plague Doctor, and his attitude pertains to such. He comments often on personnel who are suffering from a so-called "Plague," and often makes requests to work on a cure for said disease. He has proven in previous experiments to bear a genuine medical background, passing tests with flying colors. Hypothesis: I hypothesize that SCP-500, being anomalous in itself, will not be immediately recognizable to SCP-049. This medicine is not something that would have been widely available during his time period, at least to our knowledge. If I am proven otherwise, it could help us in a way as to understanding SCP-049's history. Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): Analysis and Conclusion: SCP-049 recognized SCP-500 very quickly, and even commented that he had used the pill in his time. Something that surprised me is that 049 actually explained how SCP-500 itself functions as a medicine, explaining that it targets abnormalities in the consumer's system, righting them. This does not strip SCP-500 of its anomalous status, as no other medication is as smart as this. Further research may need to be done upon the interior of the pills to explore the possibility of SCP-500 being a type of microorganism, even yet possibly intelligent life. If this is the case, it could help us in learning how to possibly replicate the medicine, taking us a step closer to that goal. Addendum: Unfortunately, due to the disastrous interruption of this test, it was terminated before SCP-049's analysis of SCP-038-500. Still, a wealth of information was obtained from this test and there is possibility for further testing in the future. Secure. Contain. Protect.

Well boys it has been a fun ride, from all the people I've met, the amount of work I've put in to this department, and the journey along the way has never been so much more then I could ever ask for. I know alot of you may be shaken by this post, bit i belive all good things must come to an end. So I hope everyone can push through this tough time and exceed in security. I loved this department ever since I was an SO and have served among every HOS this department has had, Kade, Timm, Cheif, Rang, Matracies, all of them. I did have a dream of hopefully making it to that position, but I know that I would never be able to live to the standards if every HOS before me, all I can say is I'm extreamly thankful for the opportunity I was given severing as "Acting Head" if security, and actually made me want to excell my duties. But my style of commanding is insufficient as a High Command, so I dont deserve, want, or even think about it anymore. I have caused fear and distress to all personel in security, I have caused pain to Site Admin, and I am one of the worst officers that has served this high command position. I can never fully make up for what I have done except say that I am sorry. I know this means nothing to some people but I do honestly apologize. And this is one of many reasons I'm leaving. I am also way to busy at school and having to deal with real life stuff, all security did was make me stress over everything and did not allow me to get my work done. Also the stress of security was starting to get unbearable and I could not take it anymore. So how did i deal with it, by taking it out on lower rankings and command. So like I said I am sorry for all the fear and pain I've caused to all of you. Rang- I'm always going to miss you the fun we used to have massacring Class-D and breaking the Geniva Convention everyday. I'm really gonna miss you brother and it was a pleasure severing with you. Also Stop having so many names you minge. Jeffe - Congrats on retired staff you big minge keep on PK MadViking for me. Dogz- Hell what can I say the first DORS to come out of Research, I can't say that I'm surprised when you actually got the position by I'm very happy that you did you make it great site director I hope to see you move to O5 one day. Igneous- Can't say that I don't appreciate everything that you've done for me. Like keeping my ass in line on staff. But my best moments will always be the fact you lost to Dr. BRIGHT in a fist fight, and when you set yourself to tmod. Utility- Well you now have the most mingest person leading your department, I wish you luck in the future. Tech please stop building things I dont trust your turret and bullet technology but please fix that lighting issue in our bunks it's really starting to get annoying. Where do I start. Well this is it, my final statement this time around. I have been in EMS for over a year and 2 months and I have loved every minute of it. No human language can describe the disappointment I’m feeling right now. Time for a story of my EMS and GL Career: I joined EMS in July of 2018, around the same time I joined the community. I was a hard working medic, I got promoted because I did my time and attended meetings which is a key aspect to me getting promoted. Its at this time I became staff, mind you on Anime RP, which is a mostly forgotten GL server where I got to Moderator, but that servers gone and all of the stories are long gone. I got LT with Etho under Razonix. After Etho skipped a few ranks up to head deputy from a vote for the next Head Deputy, In which I came second. So I had some catching up to do and I worked overtime, putting all of my effort into the game and eventually got to Deputy with Timmemes. At this rank I had an argument with Razonix regarding an incident that happened with a command member that was not their fault and I went to bat for them. This argument caused Razonix, Toxitman and Jason Tucker to resign with Toxitman becoming blacklisted after destroying the EMS Discord server and a multitude of documents. After this Rhys became Chief, Etho became Deputy Chief and I became Assistant Chief where I started to make changes, becoming a very liked command member, I added new cars. Made a sub department and made things change. Then on the 23rd of February 2019, I got the biggest demote in Gaminglight History by 6 ranks down out of command to Head Paramedic, the department was fuming and his roll call that followed my demotion did not end well with people saying to give me my rank back. Thankfully after a lot of campaigning and going to board I was appointed as Assistant Chief with more support than ever before. Then Rhys got blacklisted after plotting to destroy the server, after this Etho came to power as the Chief of EMS and surprised us all by resigning at a meeting. Then on the 19th of May 2019 I came to power as Chief of EMS. But on the first of September 2019 it all came tumbling apart and I joined one of many removed, blacklisted or alienated Chiefs. Funny thing is that I still don’t really know why. You’re all spending an awful lot of time yelling and carrying on. Do you really think you can afford to do so? Have none of you accepted the reality of the situation? The act of searching for hope, to try and find it—that by itself is the true meaning of hope. As long as you have that hope, you can keep moving forward no matter what trouble you may fall into. Now’s no time to wallow in your depression. The worst thing we can do right now is to lose all faith in each other. That would lead to the same disastrous result as having total faith in everyone else. Its because I pointed out a stupid rule in State Polices Discord and held off reporting Yobo for antisemetism after saying and I quote, “Dyno is acting like a jew” which I condone to the highest degree and is simply not acceptable and to say you are in the Royal New Zealand Navy, you should be ashamed. I would be ashamed if one of my cadets did it. You are an officer. I am a Cadet NCO. How dare you. How fuckin dare you. Snar, personally I don’t believe it was handled right. You didn't speak to me before any of this and the lack of communication didn’t help. Yet I respect your decision, and while myself and many others dont agree with it, I have to respect it. I also don’t agree how you posted it in every single GL PRP Discord which has more than likely ruined my reputation. But It will not bring my GL Career to an end. Also I did not make an alt account. But enough about me. Time for a bit about you guys. Oh and by you guys I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU INCLUDING THE MEDICS; Kitty - Well you started off my career in PD and then EMS took off for me! Running around with a board member was amazing in the MCU! I wish we could do it again sometime! The words Kitty said in her resignation “amazing EMS Command/pd command member and has amazing dedication” and that has stayed true till today and it will continue! Bob Bob - Amazing Dep Comm and thank you for everything. You make the best skins on GL and it is a shame that they have been removed for no reason whatsoever and the EMS Tahoe repaint was looking amazing! You have been with me through thick and thin and was one of the key campaigners trying to get my rank back when I was demoted. It's amazing that you stayed and I can't thank you enough for staying.
