  1. Lore Name: Kitton Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:101108415 Rank: Associate Researcher Activity Level: 7 (AUS timezone)
  2. 1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : Lord Kitton 2. What Regiment are you applying for? Navy 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? I am a Star Wars fanatic, undoubtedly. I am all over everything Star Wars and would consider it to be above religious to me in value. I am also a Navy nut IRL and am currently going through the application process to join Australia's defence force through their officer training academy. ImperialRP is a combination of two of my favourite things and as such I had no choice but to submit an application and get involved with this community. I also love and trust the Gaminlight brand as I've played on the SCPRP server for a while now. I want to be a commander of the Imperial Navy because it embodies what I treasure, and being able to serve within it alongside an amazing gaming community seams like a fantasy dream come true. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? Admittedly, only a few hours. Though I've gathered over 24 hours (still minor compared to some) on the SCPRP server as a Foundation Development Researcher and I'm planning to play significantly more regardless of whether a position is attained from this application or not. 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? A commander of any branch is vital for it's operations. Without a functional chain of command and competent commander(s) one might as well consider the branch as a mess. Being as important as they are, commanders hold weight to their actions and should be role modelling the ideal behavioural expectations for their subordinates to adhere to. Setting the mould through their own actions and shaping the future for the greater good. An officer of the Imperial Navy such as a Fleet Commander (according to lore) may command task-forces and entire fleets, a crucial role in maintaining the security of the Empire and ensuring that the Imperial Navy is run in a smooth, efficient manner. Standing united with the other admirals and commanders, the Fleet admiral would keep the branch dedicated and loyal to the Empire. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : Unlike some of the other applicants, I'm not a veteran within this community, I don't have a whole lot of exposure to the higher more credible players but I have a strong moral compass (and a record of strikes clearer than a mirror) as well as a great deep respect for discipline and obedience. I'm the type of person who'd report myself if I did the wrong thing. 7. How often can you be Online? : Every day for a bare minimum of 2 hours, though typically it'd be around the daily average of 4 hours. 8. Do you have any Warnings? (What for?) : As mentioned before: absolutely 0.
  3. Rank: Junior Researcher Clearance Level: - 2 List of personnel involved in testing: - MTF Nu7 JFTO MSGT Protege MS1, Mr Fish eyes (SCP-527), Jr Researcher Kev P Level D personnel involved: Class D Hummus SCP: - 049 Errors and/or safety hazards: SCP-049 turned the D class into SCP-049-2, which was immediately terminated by the MTF escort. Question: - What is the extent of SCP-049’s vocabulary and are it’s phrases pre-learned or are they from a genuine voice-box capable of greater verbal speech. Background Research: - The SCP wiki states that SCP-049 is capable of speech in multiple languages, but it doesn’t say to what extent. Hypothesis: I believe SCP-049 is capable of fluent speech coming from an actual voice-box similar to the likes of a human’s. To my knowledge, it should surpass the basic phrases of “hello” and “I can sense the disease in you”, but I’m hoping to see if it can speak fluently, as well as converse naturally in more than one language. Observation: - SCP-049 was very insightful and even cordial to begin with. Analysis and Conclusion: - The D class was put into 049’s CC and I got him to start off some questions with SCP-094.Basic questions like “how are you”... SCP-049 had absolutely no difficulty in understanding what the D class was saying and 049 almost appeared to be enjoying the conversation until the D class asked more in-depth questions. We tried French too, but it appeared that SCP-049 had trouble understanding and responding, this is probably due to the sheer amount of time it’s been locked up in an English speaking facility. The D class also raised his voice to simulate different types of conversations, such as arguments... and as a result he got “cured (turned into SCP-049-2)” and was quickly executed by the MTF escort. Do Results Align with Hypothesis: If your Hypothesis was correct - Yes they do, it appears that SCP-049 is very understanding and is more than capable of speaking english as well as other languages.
  4. It was a very interesting first experiment to accompany. You were very informative and kind to me, explaining what you were doing and why to me, as well as the appropriate procedures/methods used when conducting tests like this. SCP-1245-2's "emotional swing" was curious indeed. Thank you for allowing me to accompany you.
